Second time using JC Mobile Auto Glass, and I have nothing but good things to say…read more At some point, the windshield on my 2026 Toyota Corolla took a rock strike near the lower edge of the glass, close to the frame, without me even realizing it. I drove to Los Angeles and parked in a covered garage on a humid day. When I parked, there was no visible crack. However, when I returned about four hours later, a crack had propagated approximately 12-14 inches up the windshield. My best guess is that the combination of temperature, humidity, and pressure changes caused the damage to spread. I called JC Mobile Auto Glass on a Thursday around 4:00 PM. They ordered the replacement windshield from San Bernardino and had it delivered to their High Desert shop by 9:00 AM the following morning. They gave me a two-hour service window (9:00-11:00 AM), and the technician arrived at my home right on schedule. The technician was very conscientious when working around the plastic trim surrounding the Toyota Safety Sense front-facing camera. Those components can be fragile, but he took his time, carefully removed the original windshield, and professionally installed the new one in just under 45 minutes. The workmanship was excellent, and he treated the vehicle with care throughout the installation. I was very satisfied with both the price and the service. The convenience of having a technician come directly to my home, especially at such a reasonable price, made the experience even better. The new windshield looks fantastic, and I wouldn't hesitate to use JC Mobile Auto Glass again. Great work, JC!

The next day, Joe called to let me know the glass had already arrived and that I could bring my car in. Since I was at work, I scheduled an appointment for Friday morning. First off let me express my opinion on these other review fake and they have all been reported to YELP!!!! IF YOU WANT A BAD JOB COME HERE. HE WILL SELL YOU ILLEGAL TINT !!! NO PROBLEM EVEN IF ITS ILLEGAL. WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT THIS PERSON?????????????????????????? I had my windows tinted here over the course of 3 months ago. At the time I came in there business license was expired and had been for 3 months they should have NOT have been operating in the City of Upland with out there license. My son and I brought his car in to get the windows tinted. When we came in the shop Armondo so called owner helped us. Don't be fooled he is NOT the owner of this shop either please refer to the business license for actual owner Amparo is the owner of this shop. We left our car trusting the shop and came back and the car had been damaged by the shop when the tint was installed. He would not show me the video I asked him to see it. He refused. He deducted money from the bill and we were on our way. I decided to take him to court after the fact and didnt realize at the time how much this would cost to fix.The amount to fix the car was 926.00. I kept calling and he would hang up on me and would not take care of the situation. He is NOT HONEST!! Stay away !!! He is not an honest person. People stay away. We also realized after the fact that he tried stealing speakers from the car as well.As well as thhe window tint has bubbled up. We took the car in to get serviced and they had to re bolt all of the panels in the backseat back on. This car was in new condition even though used was flawless. My son had the car for only weeks before Armondo got his hands on it. We won our case for 926.00 against him in small claims court. Then he appealed the case being the skum bag that he is.He won the appeal alright lying threw his teeth AND ONLY WON BECAUSE HE HIRED AN ATTORNEY TO COACH HIM IN THE HALLWAY. The Judge was not fair . We had every bit of evidence from pictures etc and he claimed he did the job and lied. We sat there and watched his ghetto buddies do the job. Then he said he had cameras but erased them accidentally before court hes a liar. STAY THE HELL AWAY. IF HE DOES DO DAMAGE TO YOUR CAR PLEASE MESSAGE ME AND ILL BE YOUR WITNESS. Again, I have reviewed this business on Google plus but my wife wanted me to review it here. My wife has tinted car vehicle at this shop. Weeks after, so many bubbles showed that made vision blurry. Anyhow, I have out state, otherwise I would now let her do it there. Yesterday we just went to another shop and removed the terrible tint and replaced it with a new one. The material they used at that shop is cheap material as we were told by the new shop. Even the installation was bad and it was obviously done by a novice. As my wife told me, those guys were not on time and they charged here double what the guy charged us yesterday. Guys I don't know how this business has 5 starts. This is my third time to come in for a window tint . I tried to go somewhere else didn't work . Why though they are my go to window place . Prices are good okay competitive. Came I n Day prior made a a.m appointment they do great work and tint is gauranteed lifetime to date never had a issue except when I decided to do front windshield given a quote and price jumped way up when decided to tint window off of price earlier from quote given. Absolutely best service anywhere in IE - Armando is a perfectionist. He redid my window tint last year because minor imperfections didn't meet his high standards. I wouldn't have noticed! I inquired about tinting and mentioned casually that I came in because their online price is better than Tesla's price. The guy was shocked and said no that their price is the same as Tesla's. I showed him the online price (on my phone) and he also proceeded to show me the price on his monitor. He said both are outdated and "the guys" haven't updated it yet and that the price online should be $200 more. I mentioned they would have to honor the advertised price online and he said they don't. I told him I would file a complaint with BBB because that's not good business practices. This business doesn't care about losing customers with false advertising. Edit: By the time I got home, they already updated the online pricing, and the front windshield tint cost for Model Y now is $299 instead of the $199 shown in my screenshots. Edit #2: The owner responded today and said their pricing policy was explained to me in detail, which it was not, and also said that service was offered at the current price, which it was not either. When I walked in yesterday, I asked specifically if their pricing online was accurate and the person at the desk told me "yes". Then I pointed out that it was great because I had noticed their pricing online was lower than Tesla's price. The person at the counter then argued with me (in a not-friendly manner), that pricing was the same as Tesla's and that I was wrong. He kept repeating that I was wrong and to show him the pricing and screenshots. I proceeded to show him the price online on my phone and told them the price Tesla offered for tinting when I purchased my car. It was then that the person at the counter said their advertised price was outdated. Nothing about the interaction yesterday was professional. And per California law (SB 478) business are required to honor the lowest advertised price, especially if it was a previous price that was not updated. A simple Google search before responding to my review would have informed the owner that. And the owner's response today doesn't portray the interaction as it happened, offers no resolution and lacks knowledge of his legal requirement to honor the lowest advertised price.

My setup: * XPEL XR Plus with lifetime warranty * 55% windshield * 20% front windows * 70% rear windows/drop glass to match the factory privacy glass * Customer-supplied custom honeycomb headlight and taillight tint, hand-cut and installed on-site (no pre-cut templates available for the R2) One thing that really impressed me was that they actually measured the factory panoramic roof glass and showed me that it already had excellent UV and heat rejection. Instead of trying to sell me something I didn't need, they recommended leaving the roof alone, which saved me money. That honesty earned my trust. They also took the time to meter the factory rear privacy glass so the final appearance would be uniform. The front and rear windows match extremely well, which was one of my biggest concerns before choosing a shop. I also brought my own headlight and taillight film. Although they don't normally install customer-supplied material, they were willing to work with me, and because there weren't pre-cut templates available for the new R2, they hand-cut everything on the vehicle. The finished product looks fantastic and really complements the vehicle. Another huge plus was that they completed everything the same day, even with the additional custom work on the lighting. Overall, the workmanship, attention to detail, honesty, and customer service exceeded my expectations.
