The first thing I said is I need them to be pool code because we were saving to build a pool. The walkway gates were in the area of $900. Time after time the walkway gate would not close on its own and, in my opinion was poorly built. I do appreciate them coming to try and fix them but ultimately could not. I've had to cut some pieces to get the lock to have enough space it would close. I would not recommend them as they could solve a simple gate not closing.

After one year, the Behr stain began to visibly peel off of all components of the deck. Douglas fir staircase railings did not soak in or retain the Behr stain. Last year, due to heavy rain, our adjacent underground basement flooded requiring pumping to remove water transferred through the cement foundation of the home. Project Phases: Phase 1: remove all existing wood components of the existing deck. Phase 2: Excavate deck side of the House foundation, a) paint foundation with active water resistant barrier paint to cover all House foundation areas next to the back deck. Bury white 4 inch piped highly absorbent water accumulators and interconnect piping with an existing roof gutter drain system. Phase 3: Install new TREX Transcend "Tiki Torch" wood grain planks using concealed TREX fastener system complimented by new black metal rust resistant stair case fencing and railing system. I got several quotes and KAL was affordable and timely in his response. The quote and contract were all online so it was easy to review, refer back to, and share with my neighbor so we could make a decision. The work was also good. I wanted metal posts, redwood boards, and to make it modular so if a section of fencing broke for whatever reason (kids, mostly), I could easily replace a 2x4 and/or fence boards. February 2024: After some of the great wind storms, another section of my fence had pretty much blown over. We were able to reset the lines to increase my backyard (yes, I got city permits) and he was great about marking out the PG&E and other lines. He took care of that and other things that didn't even cross my mind. With that, I now have a larger backyard, the fence looks great, and I've had friends and neighbors comment on how great it looks. Overall, if you're in the Placer County area (Auburn, Meadow Vista, etc.) and need a fence, I'd recommend giving Kirk a call.

We were in need of a tree service company to remove some trees close to our home and some that were…read morediseased. We also needed some old stumps grinded and a bit of tree trimming. We contacted a number of companies in the area and four companies provided quotes for us. One of those companies was Sierra Pacific Tree Care. We have only the best things to say about this business. From the very beginning, the company was super responsive and came out in a timely manner to give us a quote. The office manager, Liz was an excellent communicator. She was patient and always was able to answer our questions or get back to us quickly with an answer. We were told by the owner, Mauro that some of the stumps may not be able to be grinded but he would do his best. On the day of work, Mauro showed up with six workers, heavy equipment and trucks with trailers. To our absolute delight, Mauro's fleet of men were super hard working, running up our hill at a quick quip to get the job done. Some of the men were high up in the trees cutting down branches and piece by piece logs. We must mention that there were power lines tethered to two of the trees needing to come down and the men were very careful and skilled so that the power lines remained intact. We also have to give kudos to Mauro. He is not one of those owners who sits back and watches the work being done. He got his hands dirty, literally by working the grinder and removing numerous stumps. It was an all day job and the crew broke for a 30 minute lunch before getting back at it. When all of the work was done, the crew cleaned up all of the debris, sawdust and logs. Their work ethic was truly admirable. We were very impressed with the work and will use them in the future. We highly recommend Sierra Pacific Tree Care for any tree job.
