For the last 7-8 years that we have been coming to Marco Island for our timeshare weeks, we have made Cool Beans Cruise part of our visit each time. They are always great to work with and a wonderful time. The last couple of years we were able to do the 6 person catamaran. Unfortunately we were disappointed to find out they no longer have it, but they now have a pontoon instead. We might have to try it next year. We like the larger catamaran as well, but appreciate having the smaller option. Try it. You won't be disappointed and they offer more 'amenities' than some of the other cruises ( like you have to bring your own beverages on others) and the large catamaran has 2 marine toilets. read more

Book the Miss Naples instead. It's a bigger, more comfortable and nicer boat, there aren't as many rules other than required by law. Also, the route of the Miss Naples is more scenic. The Miss Naples captain isn't rude and confrontational with paying customers. I was on board recently when he became angry and beligerant with my husband and ME. The group couldn't believe what they were witnessing. He listened in on a private conversation and began berating us, in front of all of our friends, when he could have had a private conversation about a non-situation. Someone had to step in and tell the Captain to LET IT GO! Utterly disrespectful, unprofessional and should be FIRED. Witnessed by many. What a disgrace. Spend your money on Miss Naples. We've had many wonderful, warm nights on THAT catamaran and will only be patronizing them. You have a choice. Don't pay a fortune to get verbally abused and ruled to death. read more

We had an excellent time on our catamaran cruise on July 2, 2020. We were staying at the JW Mariott and it was a quick 20 minutes drive to the dock. Once we arrived the Captain went over safety measures and the features of the boat. There was plenty of room for our party of 8. There were two more separate parties of 2 and 4 and we didn't feel crowded at all. They had beer, wine, water as advertised. It was a very nice ride to the island and they put up the sails on the trip. They anchored off the island and it was about a 2 minute swim to shore. They had noodles for everyone. I put my phone in a zip lock bag and swam with it shore to take picures. The time went by quickly and I would definitely would do it again the next time we are in the area. read more

A must-do activity when you're in the area! Our captain laid out the rules of the catamaran upon entering the vessel and from there, it was all fun! My husband and I chose a 3-hour sailing trip that led us past some beautiful homes, private beaches, and the Gulf. It was extremely relaxing and even though the day we went out was a bit chilly, the first mate handed out blankets so that we were all comfortable. The great thing about this cruise company is that even though they provide complimentary beer, wine, soda, and water, they also allow you to bring on your own snacks, food, and libations! Not a lot of companies allow this, so that was one of the many things that was awesome about Cool Beans that we were impressed with. Even though we hadn't paid for a private cruise, we met some really cool people and it didn't feel crowded. They will only allow up to 15 people per ride, and once you spread out amongst the boat, it really doesn't feel like a lot of people. My husband and I were able to enjoy our own quiet time up front near the overhanging nets and enjoy our drinks. One thing I will say is try and go to the bathroom before you get on the boat. The bathroom on the catamaran is a little tricky and mainly for #1's if ya know what I mean :) This company will earn my business time and time again not only for their responsiveness and organization, but also their ability to make you feel completely special and at home on their boat. We are from OP and chose Cool Beans because some people in the hot tub at our hotel said it was really fun and their was endless beer! The Captain on the boat was also from OP and he was great! The other Captain was very hospitable and got all our drinks for us. Great service and fun! The boat is big and comfortable! Bring a beach towel or two for the ride back. It was chilly after being in the ocean. I booked the trip at 9am for the same day for the 2:45 PM trip. Right after I booked it, the lady texted me the address and some other info. She was so nice too! We even had a playful dolphin swimming around the boat for a good portion of the trip. The seashells on Keewaydin Island were amazing too. We had so much fun doing the sunset cruise. They have a great beer and wine selection, plus champagne at sunset! The captain is hilarious, and the boat is clean and isn't overcrowded. Everyone has plenty of space. You'll also turn around a few times so everyone has a good view. We even saw a dolphin! It unfortunately got a bit of a late start when we went, but just hang out in the parking lot behind the Blue Heron, and you'll get picked up at the dock. I went on the cool beans sunset cruise last night with my family (5 people) and absolutely loved it!! We had captain Josh and first mate Dan leading our catamaran. They were entertaining, fun and knowledgable of the area around us. When we showed up to cool beans at our designated time we were a little worried that our trip was going to be cancelled due to weather. You could see the storm clouds in the distance and there was no sun in sight! We started to hear some thunder but the employees of cool beans assured us that it was safe to go out. We shared the boat with three other people. There was plenty of room for both groups to enjoy the cruise on our own, although we did get to know each other and chatted over some drinks! Yes,DRINKS--the cruise includes all you can drink beer, wine and soft drinks. There is also a champagne toast and shrimp cocktail during the sunset. We were out on the water for about two hours. It wasn't your normal, calm sunset cruise due to the storms surrounding us but we had a blast. The water was rough but we enjoyed braving the weather with some drinks and blankets to keep us warm! There was some water splashing towards the end, but it was all part of the adventure. Also, we saw a lot of dolphins while out on the water!! Absolutely loved it! If you are in the Naples/Marco Island area cool beans is a must do!! And definitely do not let bad weather deter your decisions to go or not! No words to describe how much we needed this day out to watch the sunset. We had major damages and serious PTSD from Hurricane Ian. We desperately needed a change from our every day aftermath cleanup. 25 days of it. We were exhausted mentally. And physically. Captain Kelly and staff made it an amazing day out to watch the sunset, we saw dolphins, multiple times, even saw a pod. Also, saw a loggerhead turtle swimming by the boat. Seeing nature at its most beautiful healed after seeing it at its worst and living through Ian. Thank you for a beautiful sunset cruise! Drinks included and even a conch shell salute to the setting sun. We were supposed to have been on our 30th in Hawaii which Hurricane Ian ruined. Well Captain Kelly's Cool Beans Catamaran made us feel like we were in Hawaii and then we had a wonderful dinner at Osteria Capri which made us feel transported to Italy. The whole Isle of Capri is worth visiting even as a local ( we live in Cape Coral). We had never been and the whole day was amazing start to finish.
