Absolutely fantastic choices to do shelling and fishing! Very impressed with care, time and expertise of the fishing and shelling!

Did a shelling trip with Treasure Seekers on Labor Day on one of their 6 hours tours. Trip was hosted by our Captain Richard and Shell Guide Amanda -- both were friendly & helpful. Customer Service was A++. It was just me and a married couple on the trip to Shell Island (2nd day it was open for the season). While I didn't find the giant horse conch or Junonia on my bucket list, I did find TONS of shells. Happy Sheller! The 6 hours flew by, and even in the rain, I had a great time. Captain Richard was very tuned into the weather & making sure we were safe (lightning is always a concern), and I was grateful the boat stays onsite just case there's a need. The complimentary drinks, lunchables & fresh fruit were lovely. Also liked the off-site parking, although finding the parking lot was a bit tricky since there's no official signage. The van driver was friendly & considerate (even turned on the heat on the drive home since we were wet from the rain). Will definitely travel with Treasure Seekers again!

Our excursion with Treasure Seekers will be one of our favorite experiences here on Marco! The staff was super friendly and fun. The island and shells we found were amazing and our guide, Leah, was so helpful and knowledgeable. Captain Mike and Captain Dave took the time to play with the dolphins during our boat ride and visit some osprey nests. Truly a fun adventure!

Had a wonderful time shelling on Kice Island. Got lots of treasures and saw many larger shells (they were alive so left them to continue living!) Amanda was our guide; she was so knowledgeable and signed a copy of her book "Shelling My Way" for us.

Tripping over beautiful shells and sand dollars . We even learned about the different kind of sea shells.

Excellent shell tour , very friendly. It's very laid back , they will help you if needed but the island they go to you're literally tripping over shells. That being said be sure you wear the water sock type shoes to protect your feet. Also make sure to be on time bc they leave promptly. We also saw dolphins , it was really a great morning!

Capt Richard and First Mate Tracy made this tour AMAZING! It was the highlight of our trip. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating, as well as knowledgeable about shells and local ecology. I appreciate reviewing the local shells we may find upon starting the trip, as well as finding out trivia about the shells that I found. It felt very intimate with three other guests joining my fiancé and I. Tracy checked in on us intermittently while also giving us space to perform our own exploring. Water and snacks were offered at several points during our four hour tour, and the boat was comfortable and clean. Two locations were explored, each with their own personality and different types of shells. I can't give this touring company enough praise. Thank you so much for such an incredible experience! I can't wait to come back with my mom and sister!

I filled this bucket 3 times!! Only perfect shells!

If I could give them 10 stars I would!! Captain Tammy and First Mate Kelle were fantastic!!! We were on the island as the sun rose and the amount of shells was UNBELIEVABLE!!! As an avid sheller I have never had such an experience. Absolutely amazing! We saw the dome home and even dolphin swam with out boat on the way back. I definitely recommend this trip to everyone! Well worth it! I will be coming back with friends and family!!

Taking this tour was the most amazing thing that I have done since I moved to SWFL. My Mom, daughter and I, who love to shell had the time of our lives. The Captain Tammie and 1st mate Meaghan were the best!! They were so nice and knowledgeable about all sea life and shells. They took us to a few different islands where we filled our bags with beautiful treasures. I got to swim right next to a manatee and Tammie got the dolphins to jump behind the boat. They provided plenty of water and snacks. I can't wait to go again!!!! Definitely healing for the soul!

    Awesome trip. Returned to water.

Had a remarkable time on this shelling adventure! Captain Matt took us to Dickman's and Kice Island while pointing out stingrays and dolphins! Shirley was our shell expert and took care and paid special attention to all members of the tour. She has an eagle eye for picking out remarkable shells and making sure we all found our special shell! Alas, all but the "J". HIGHLY recommend this tour. It was a bucket list tour, but I will have to go back for the hunt for the elusive junonia! Thank you both for a wonderful excursion!

The other boat, while it did function to take us for the day, was in terrible shape and should be put to pasture or remodeled. The boat was not wiped down at all when we got there and all the seams were busted and the foam was rotted to the touch. You could not sit down without covering. We were offered no coverings and had to use all our towels to sit. There was what appeared to be mold on the seats and the flooring had to be swept out. The table was dusty mess. This place does not seem to care about the quality of the boats. We told one of the handlers on the dock and he gave us one towel to wipe the seats with but nothing to cover them. There was no GPS, no fuel gauge (they told us how much gas we used!) no depth finder, no horn (except for a whistle - not sure what that would prevent!). One of the props were bent. We voiced a complaint at the end and the lady was rude and dismissive. I would not recommend using this facility without prior inspection of the boats. We were not able to see the boats as we were from out of town. Plus the distance from Goodland to Keewaydin, Island much farther than if you rented from a Marco Is. marina. Thankfully the day turned out perfect notwithstanding the condition of the pontoon boat!

Turns out you just have to look for their truck in the parking lot. That wasn't made clear at the time of booking. It was a fine boat ride, but felt more like a water taxi than a tour. We saw dolphins on the way to go shelling which was neat... but so did every other boat in the vicinity. We only had about 1.5 hours to go shelling which wasn't nearly enough time. Keewaydin Island was beautiful but we didn't have time to enjoy it. After our boat taxi ride was over we tipped the driver $30. Mind you this ride didn't include food, drinks (other than water) or snacks. A day later we got an automated email asking us for a tip (if we hadn't already). Mind you we did NOT take a private tour- it was two groups of 3 people. The email said: "If you have not tipped * Boat captains often rely on tips as a significant part of their income, particularly in the tourism industry where tipping is customary. A 20% gratuity or Minimum of $100 per Captain on Private tours is customary for this type of tour. If the captain was amazing feel free to tip more." Excuse me? We paid $370 for 2 adults and 1 child for a less than 3 hour excursion to Keewaydin Island. They were expecting an additional $50-$75 in tips? This was by far the most expensive boat "tour" we've been on, and we've done many- Italy, Mexico, Zimbabwe, Hawaii, California, Maine, and three others in Florida. I wrote the company an email bc they send out 2-3 emails afterwards asking you to leave a review... and if it's not 5 stars to email them directly. They never responded. Two sets of my in-laws were wanting to go on a tour in the coming weeks and we told them both not to waste their money on Sand Dollar Shelling. So now I'm telling you too.
