They weren't solid wood, so they can't be fixed...but had they been... You would have needed to sand them down completely. Simply covering the baseboards would have prevented that. More importantly, the floors continued to chip. We contemplated taking them to small claims court to settled for half or money back at least. But we do not have the time right now and I can promise they won't settle easy. The floors never cured right and there is just no good way to "fix" right. New flooring will eventually need to be laid on top. This was a waste of time and money. Very, very expensive. Anything other than their solution would have held up longer.

It's really easy to maintain, resists water and normal wear with proper upkeep. While I liked my salesperson, the rest of the experience bordered on surreal. The first and second days I had a crew of about 12 people working in my house for about 14 hours each day. The crew left the second day and reported they were done. However, they had damaged my flooring during the install in several places, improperly installed bowed molding in a few more, had inconsistent molding cuts in the doorways, among other installation issues. I've included just a few pictures to highlight their work. There were many instances of each example. I think I had them out 4 times to replace flooring the installers damaged and fix improperly installed molding. There are other smaller issues I won't go into detail about that revolve around excessive use of caulk and not cleaning up after themselves. The salesperson asked me to write lists of what I needed addressed, which I did, several more times over a week or so. One of the things that was a challenge for me was knowing what the new flooring should look like and dealing with installers who had mysogenistic attitudes towards a female when I'd correct their work, as the salesperson asked me to do. They even had the audacity to curse me in Spanish, thinking I wouldn't know the word they were using. I was dismayed to find such a lack of support from the company's representatives, and the lack of respect and workmanship of their installers. We eventually got the flooring done. I decided I preferred to have a few issues I had to fix myself rather than have their workers in my house again. I was also tired of having to clean up after their workers. Every time they came into my house I had to dust, vacume, and mop. It was comical watching them trying to vacume the carpets in an adjacent room with a vacume cleaner that was overfilled with dust from another job. The workers didn't bother to try and contain the mess, even when I provided plastic sheeting to them. I provided them a bill for the services I'd provided that they'd promised and not provided, and was compensated. I wouldn't say don't use this company, they offer very competitive rates. If you don't live in the building they're working on, they'd probably do fine. If you don't mind having to do reiterative quality checks, great. If you're planning on doing your own clean up, even better. If you're one of the people who's moved here from the NE, you'll enjoy the opportunity to get into heated arguments with the installers every day.

We had the Scarmardos paint almost the entirety of our interior. We moved into a 10 year old house…read morethat had not been painted since it was built. Tony and Cherry refreshed the white and added color to the upstairs. They were really helpful in the color selection process too. It was taking us a while to figure out our bathroom color. I gave Cherry a list of some of the colors I was thinking and she made a suggestion based on what I had already picked as the bedroom color. Also, we we were thinking of changing one of our other colors, she let us know which one would look better with the white that we picked. On the job days, they worked quickly and efficiently, actually leaving before I got home one day (that is a good thing). They even put up with the dogs barking on the last day once I got home! To top it all off, we had them do a little extra repair work to the ceiling (from the wire covers we pulled off that the old owner left for us) and they didn't add anything since they were doing the same repair to parts of the wall. Cherry and Tony are professional and reliable. I completely recommend them to anyone and plan to use them again when we figure out how and when to refresh the exterior.

We are so disappointed with the poor work Perfect Edge did painting our new home. We hired them…read morebased on a recommendation and thought that working with a newer painter who came recommended for both quality and price would let us have great work done at a reasonable price. In the end, we think we paid about what we would pay a more established local painter but the work done is just so careless and sloppy. Ironically, despite their name, Perfect Edge seems to have done very minimal prep work - there are messy lines and old color remaining in several parts of the house. Paint on the butcher block in our kitchen. They got paint on an expensive shade which they apparently did not remove or cover. We keep finding more and more paint on our hardwood floors. We have told Perfect Edge about these concerns, and they have come back three times to try to remediate, but they obviously have not done a close job looking over the work because there are still so many areas that just look awful. They did pay the cost to replace the shade, but we are still very upset with the shoddy workmanship done and the price paid. I absolutely would not recommend hiring Perfect Edge for your home. Please look for a more experienced and capable painter elsewhere and save yourself the headache and heartache.

She answered my many questions and worked with me until we signed the contract and and set a date to start. The crew showed up on time every day and did a great job. Juan, the crew lead, is excellent and very easy to work with. I told Megan I was very particular about sharp clean edges and my home is textured walls and she assured me that they also love clean neat edges. Boy, did they deliver on that promise. No job is without complications, but Megan and Ryan were here each day to manage the project and fix any issues I had, and they fixed every one of the. They truly care about doing a great job. Their customer service is beyond belief in these times. They were easy to work with and made sure I was completely satisfied. Jeremy built up the floor so that the floor was continuous into the shower area and sloped properly. We needed this due to the small size of our house. Turned out better than we expected. Jeremy put in a corner bench, cut outs for shampoo, and even fashioned a planter in the corner for plants, without any complaints. He truly wants you to be happy with the results.
