Breakfast grilled cheese and biscuits and gravy

The breakfast grilled cheese (with cheddar and bacon) was perfect and the cinnamon roll was incredible!

A good restaurant to eat at.

We just happened to see the marina and the Cookies sign. I ordered a patty melt that was just great. My husband ordered a hamburger and onion rings, he said that it was the best burger ever. The had a good lunch that was a good price and included desert but we had eaten that the previous night. The people were Johnny on the spot, kept our glasses full. Bull Shoals lake is right outside the window. Apparently some of the folks there were regulars because they were talked to by the waitresses by name. I would definitely go here again. YUMMY.

Here's an update. Just had breakfast here for the first time and it was delicious. I had the Cinnamon Glazed French Toast. Tip: It's their breakfast special on Wednesday. You'll thank me later.

Good food, friendly service, great pies. You can see the lake from the restaurant. Definitely a great place to stop for a meal.

I've been to Cookies for years when staying in Theodosia. Their breakfasts are always tasty, coffee is hot (and refills are prompt.)

All the flavors we tried were delicious including the chocolate with habanero, bourbon butter pecan (SO good), candy bar bomb, and key lime pie. Really good quality ice cream, loved their sign saying what unhealthy things they don't include in their ice cream, like artificial food colorings. Texture of the ice cream was perfect and flavors were high quality, and the price was cheaper than I expected. Check this place out!

Pretty straight forward in letting us know free samples were offered and showed waffle cones. Scoops were generous. [Ice Cream] wow! Definitely can taste they use a homemade premium cream base, not a singular taste of any ice. Almost custard like because it was so rich. I tried banana pudding (very banana but the fresh natural kind) and root beer float (tasted exactly like the name!!). I got German chocolate cake (vegan & gluten free) and Chocolate Chunk Brownie. My friends got vanilla and peanut butter fudge with caramel. We all Kept going back for more. German chocolate cake was one of the maybe three vegan options. It was very decadent and honestly I have no idea how this was vegan. It was as rich and creamy as the non vegan ones. Happily not icey at all!! Unlike other vegan ice creams. There was a quite a bit of coconut shavings in each bite. Definitely an amazing vegan chocolate flavor - vegan ice cream makers need to take note! Chocolate Chunk Brownie was extremely rich. It said it had brownie chunks and chocolate chips. However, after getting 2 servings of it - there was no brownie in sight. Which disappointed me along with I wish it was a more deep chocolate taste. Vanilla was definitely rich and creamy. Waffle cone was sweeter than others. I think they added extra vanilla - absolutely one of the best waffle cones I ever had! [seating and shoppe] outdoor seating that was shady in the eving perfect for a summer evening. Interior had seating and paper towel rolls. Beautiful bright colors inside. [overall] definitely a rich creamy homemade base to the ice cream flavors. I went back for seconds!

The custard in the coconut cream was cold, creamy and laced with coconut and topped with a perfect level of whipped crème. I'm not a whipped cream girl but it was pretty tastee! The ambiance of this place is fun and retro. There is a main jukebox at the front and smaller options at some of the tables. The menu included about six different pies and several types of cheesecake. There were also several ice cream options as well as diner food, like burgers and dogs and sandwiches. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who eats.

It has that classic vacation town feeling where getting ice cream just feels like part of the whole trip. Plus they have funnel cake and how can you not stop for funnel cake?! Great spot to cool off after walking around all day too! They have a lot of options, so it's easy to find something that sounds good whether you want pizza, hot dogs, a burger, ice cream, cake, or something extra sweet. Portions were generous in traditional diner fashion, everything was delish as well! Inside can get busy, especially during peak tourist times when we were there, so expect a little chaos and line movement going slow depending when you go. That's pretty normal for Branson, but worth knowing if you're tired or in a hurry. Overall, a pretty great stop!

It makes you feel like you are somewhere fun and unique away from home. The food here is delicious. On my most recent trip I had the ultimate BLT, some chips, and some very delicious chicken and rice soup. Absolutely loved it all! I also had a few bites of a rice crispy treat and my husband's Key Lime pie. Both were delicious. I also tried a molasses cookie, which was yummy. And lastly, I had a caramel coffee whose name escapes me at the moment. Everything was wonderful. Highly recommend visiting Sugar Leaf. I am looking forward to our next visit.

The food was consistently solid, the breakfast sandwich was tasty, and the quiche was also really good. Everything felt fresh and well-prepared. The first time we visited, the latte wasn't great, not quite the style I prefer, execution and ingredients are more like Starbucks, but the food more than made up for it. It's a cozy spot with good variety, and overall, it left a positive impression. Service was decent. Great the first time. Second time they left our food sitting for awhile waiting to be brought out and we had to go ask for it. We'd definitely go back the next time we're in town. A reliable choice for breakfast in Branson.
