Hannah is clearly very talented, and the quality and detail of the cookies themselves were wonderful. The reason for four stars instead of five is the communication and timing. Communication was great initially, but after I paid for the order, it became difficult to get updates, which made me nervous as our event got closer. The cookies also arrived later than expected. Thankfully, they made it just before our party started, but it was definitely a stressful wait. In the end, I was very happy with the actual cookies and received so many compliments on them. I would absolutely love to see more consistent communication and reliable timing in the future, because the finished product was fantastic.

She confirmed she was available both times. The first time, she cancelled the week leading up to the event with an understandable explanation. Nice people but for event planning, I wouldnt feel comfortable with her reliability.

Legit asked them desperately via email on a Wednesday (found them on yelp) for 3 dozen cookies to be made for Saturday for my best friend's surprise engagement party that I helped host, and they took me in! *crying emoji.* **YO, but don't expect them to accept your order request with a 3 day's notice. They do expect a couple weeks in advance! In my email, I basically let them know my preferred color scheme and design theme. Because it was so last minute, I really didn't have time to be picky or go back and forth on the details, but I knew from looking at their instagram (@funkycoldco) I could trust them. They sent me an invoice and DAMN--they went above and beyond my expectations. Super professional, offering a couple of flavors of cookies (not just plain sugar cookies), and they provided a very thorough explanation of the cookie details, payment, and pick up instructions. I ended up picking funfetti, vanilla bean, and chocolate chip flavors. THE COOKIES WERE DELICIOUS. And they were good sized/thick cookies. I couldn't even eat more than one because they were hella thicc. They were also way too beautiful and perfect to eat. Everyone at the engagement party literally couldn't get over how detailed they were. We were all joking too about how we wanted to legit frame the cookie, and even my friend who's getting married wanted to freeze her favorites and eat it on her wedding day. Lol!!! They're that beautifully made, I'm not even exaggerating. Please show me how you write that small of beautiful cursive don't on a cookie. I can't even write like that on a piece of paper! Anyways, pick up was smooth and cookies were also individually packaged--super COVID friendly this way too! If you aren't feeling cookies, I also found out that they offer other baked goods--they also make macarons, ube cookies, cakes, rice krispy treats, etc.! They're a one stop shop for any celebration (or no celebration), big or small! I don't think I know any one else in the Bay Area (where I'm from) that is as talented at decorating cookies like Steph and Jeff at Funkycold Co... I want to use them ALL THE TIME. Next time I'm in Seattle, I'm fasho going to order some ube cookies to try... BOTTOM LINE: Order these sugar cookies for any occasion and give them your vision--they'll deliver and exceed your expectations for sure... You will not regret it!

We decided to come into town to find a bite to eat before heading back to Seattle. After lunch we took a quick stroll to window shop and came across an ice cream shop that advertised cookies. My daughter had been wanting ice cream all trip but finding something worth trying in Seattle that wasn't Salt & Straw and had easy parking just wasn't happening for us. We stopped in for ice cream and noticed there were homemade wrapped cookies available for purchase. We then noticed a sign pointing to the back that said More Cookies... we thought we were being led to the restroom but the space opened up to an entire cookie shop!!! We had some of the prepackaged cookies in hand and the woman behind the counter said that she'd replace those with fresh made ones dorm that morning! We decided on 4 cookies - Oatmeal Chocolate Chip - Chocolate Chip - Sugar Cookie with Rainbow Sprinkles - Mount Si Let me tell you... actually... I can't tell you because there are absolutely NO WORDS to describe how deliciously soft and flavorful these cookies are.
