I went in to buy a single cookie gift, which they do have some that you don't need to order ahead of time. If you are thinking of getting a cookie bouquet, for courtesy sake, give them 24-48 hours notice depending on size of a bouquet you need. The lady who helped me was so sweet. I asked her questions and she was so helpful about answering them all. I purchased a single sunflower cookie that was about $7 and totally well worth it. Dad's birthday was on Saturday. As a professional procrastinator, I managed to wait until the morning of, to realize this. He lives in Baton Rouge. I live in Dallas. How do I get out of this? Granted, cookies may be a cheap way out, but I promised to take him to dinner when I visited the next week, so it's okay as a "gift-lite." So let me tell you how awesome these people are. Dad wasn't home. I left his cell number when I ordered online. They called him and found out that he was eating breakfast at IHOP. He tells her to just leave the package at the door. She refuses saying she wants to "see the look on his face" and drives all the way to IHOP to personally deliver these cookies. I ordered some cookies as a Thanksgiving treat for my wife, but I accidentally chose the Monday after Thanksgiving as the delivery date, instead of the Monday before. Well, because I had Thanksgiving in the greeting on the card, they called me the Monday before and asked if I meant to schedule the delivery for that day. I had no idea I had made that mistake until she called me. She said it was no problem and that they could delivery it that day instead, and a few hours later my wife was enjoying the cookies. I placed an order with this location previously and everything was great. Called the Jefferson Hwy store today and spoke with an older gentleman that was quite unprofessional. My question was about a promo code that was included in a previous order confirmation E-mail l had received. He said, he had no idea what I was talking about and offered no further assistance. I asked if there was someone else I could speak to or another number (customer service) I could call for help. He said, he didn't know. It was like pulling teeth to get any assistance from him. When I mention I was trying to place a same-day delivery, he finally asked which item I was ordering. After telling him, his reply was, that can't be delivered today anyway. I said, ok, never mind. He said, ok, with a sigh of relief and ended the call. He was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. Quite frankly, he came across as if he was not interested in receiving my order or any other customer's order. Its a shame because I had intended on using this company for several orders in the future but unfortunately, that is no longer the case. If they care about their business, they should really consider allowing a more professional person with better tact to answer customer calls. read more

Placed my order online after business hours. Later realized I made a mistake on the card I wanted attached to my order. Called Cookies by Design and left a voicemail explaining the change I needed. They actually called me back at 7:40 the next morning. The cookies were for some nurses that took care of me two weeks prior while in the hospital for back surgery. They were all amazing!!!
