Customer service was friendly, prompt, and welcoming from the moment I walked in, and the staff created such a positive atmosphere that it immediately stood out. I think I have been to almost all the locations and it is always a pleasure to go! Ever since I tried these cookies a few years back I have been hooked! Especially on the banana pudding cookie! These are now my favorite cookies!! We got the 6 cookies: (1) chocolate chip, of course, which is a classic when it comes to cookies. It was yummy! (2) Then the banana pudding one had a light banana flavor. I wish that it wasn't just in the center, but throughout. Still really yummy! (3) the crème brûlée I would say was one of my favorites. The creamy crème brûlée with the torched sugar shell was a perfect bite to the cookie. It was crispy on the edges, yet soft in the center. I would say that that's the consistency of their cookies, which is the perfect cookie. (4) The Snickerdoodle cookie was wide, thin, yet soft. It was delicious. (5) The salted caramel had good flavor too, wasn't too sweet, but if only it had a caramel drizzle, so that it's not only in the center because the rest of it was just any basic cookie. They are located on Broad near James Avery, and shares a parking lot with Belk. - across the street from HEB. These cookies are homemade! I'll preface by saying that I'm a fan of Cookie Society - just not this location. I've been twice and both times I had neither a "good" nor "bad" experience. Once the chocolate chip cookies weren't in stock. Another time oatmeal wasn't in stock. The cookie I did get during the last visit was hard and cold- the opposite of what I've experienced at other locations. As far as service, on the first visit, a female worker overlooked me twice when I was standing there for service. What took me by complete surprise is that I eyed my friend in shock , who was in the parking lot, and she came in. The female worker overlooked me yet again and asked her if she could help HER, who had just come inside to check on me. My friend pointed to me and said that I was needing to order...... it took that redirection for me to finally get acknowledged. I ended up purchasing just one cookie instead of what I wanted to because that left a bad taste in my mouth. Second visit, I just felt like it may have been an interruption to their closing process (maybe an hour left until closing). I asked a question and he just stood there until I realized the answer to my question- that one of the cookies was out of stock. They also didn't have a cookie that I saw advertised online. I ended up getting one cookie that time and leaving. I'm not sure if I'll do a 3rd time here at this location. I've never had problems in Addison.
