My very first time and what a sweet experience…read more This place offers a large parking lot shared with the surrounding businesses. I went here with my mom and her friend to hopefully get a small birthday cake. My mom's friend has been here plenty of times and she highly recommended them. When you first walk in you are hit with the sweet smell of pastries! The place was fun and vibrant with colors in the sitting area. I looked in the display case and did not see any cakes so I asked and unfortunately they did not have any readily available. I knew that was a risk but I was still glad that I went in to take a look at the place. I ordered a chocolate croissant and my mom and her friend both got different types of coffee beverages. The croissant was so warm and flaky with just the right amount of chocolate in the middle! I always hate it when they skimp on the chocolate for a chocolate croissants. I don't remember what type of coffee drink my mom and her friend got but they both really enjoyed it and they were able to make milk alternative substitutions. We sat down in the seating area and just enjoyed the atmosphere. They weren't that busy so it was easy to talk to each other. We learned that the owner is a husband and wife duo who go out of the country for a whole month! That's so exciting to learn and I was really happy to support a small growing business. I'll definitely be back next time on that side of town.

But also because it was the last place I thought I'd find a custom dessert spot -- they also have a booth at the Vail Farmer's Market on Sundays. The owners make great desserts but they also specialize in custom cakes and weddings. I'm a sucker for their Snickers Bar Eclair - a flaky eclair with creamy filling topped with a slick layer of caramel and a slew of fresh, crunchy peanuts in a dark chocolate topping. If they put this much care into a simple eclair, it's no wonder folks are raving about their custom cakes and special desserts. Stop on in and give it a try - you won't be disappointed!!

Great service. Chase was really attentive and great to talk to. We loved the heirloom beet salad,…read morehowever, it was split for 2. We weren't asked if we wanted it split - this made it $25, which was not worth it. I opted for the table side cacio e pepe which was super cheesey and also had delicious pork belly blended in. My husband had the burger which was 2 larger patties combined - we only wished it could've been cooked more medium rare because the flavor of the meat had so much potential! We weren't hungry for dessert but the table next to us got a unique mason jar dessert that looked like it was packed with chocolatey goodness. This restaurant is inside the Westin, and you can park in the garage and get your ticket validated.

Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with providing recommendations. We started off with the bread and fondue. The fondue was a big hit with our table, and the cheese was so tasty. The bread was also good, and had a nice unique taste. For mains I tried some of the following: -steak frites: delicious and cooked perfectly, and a huge portion of delicious fries -mussels: definitely a miss, and tasted a bit too salty and the sizes were pretty inconsistent -filet: amazing -mushroom ravioli: absolutely horrible, literally the worst ravioli I've ever had -cacio e pepe: sooo tasty, but tastes was more like carbonara vs a traditional cacio e pepe. I liked the presentation and really loved the pork too. I would definitely recommend sticking with the meats here, as the pasta and seafood were major misses (except the cacio e Pepe was amazing) Overall a solid option for a nicer meal, but not the greatest place ever.

My two stars go to the food and the view. The service was unfortunately abysmal tonight…read more We dined here tonight as hotel guests with two under two. We were seated at a table that already had a high chair, but it had pooled water which also had soaked the straps. I wiped up the water as best I could, but the straps were going to remain soaked for a long time. Upon asking our waiter for a new high chair, he said he would dry it off- we said the straps were soaked and he said not to worry about it, that he did this all the time. Well he dried off the chair and then covered the straps with a napkin. Sir, we needed the straps to strap our girl in! Anyway... My husband and I ordered the exact same thing- the chopped salad with salmon. Mine arrived with our daughter's pizza, and we asked if his salad was coming, and the waiter who dropped off the food said if we ordered it, yes. Umm ok. As I'm halfway through my salad, our original waiter checks in and says it should be coming. I'm now done with my salad and my toddler is done with her pizza. Waiter returns and says he's going to check with the kitchen. At this point, it's the kiddos' bedtime, so we ask them to make it to-go. Eventually the salad and the check arrive. Nothing is comped and no apologies are given. No excuses have been delivered... short staffed? Rough night? We get it! We didn't receive any reason for the delay. This could have gone SO differently if there was better communication. Upon receipt of the check, I asked if anything could be comped as my husband didn't get to eat. The waiter ended up comping his meal. I shouldn't have had to ask. So, eat, enjoy the view, anticipate poor service.
