I recently planned a bachelorette party event for a group of 13 women with Chef Traci, and it was perfect! She hosted us at her home in Berkeley, and I was able to come early and decorate. We didn't want to cook anything too crazy, and wanted to allow time for socializing, and she set us up perfectly. We broke out into a few groups and each group made a different dish - she had done all the prep for us so we got to focus on the fun part of cooking, and still had time to drink and hang! The food was delicious and she was flexible in working with me to create the menu. This would be a great option for any type of group event, and she will work with you to make everything just right. read more

Working with Chef Traci to accommodate our work retreat was a great experience! Originally, we were only looking to find someone to help us with a cooking team building activity. However, we learned that we could use her space for our full day retreat. She could not have made it more easy and convenient. She was very responsive to our needs, friendly, flexible and a fabulous chef. She catered a healthy and delicious breakfast, we cooked moroccan food for lunch (team builder), and she provided snacks in the afternoon...all the while accommodating various dietary restrictions in our group (gluten free, grain free, and paleo). Everyone ate the same menu which made the experience very inclusive. Initially, I was hesitant about hosting our retreat here - worried that it might not be able to support our business needs. I was totally wrong! The space worked so well for our group of 11 that we immediately booked a second retreat with Chef Traci. (The second time was as good as the first.) We comfortably sat around a large dining table and ate breakfast while we worked. In the afternoon, we moved to the very comfortable living room for more informal conversation and discussions. The wifi signal is strong. (We had two video conference participants.) We brought post-it pad chart paper and markers. I much prefer this more intimate and casual space to more formal conference settings - especially for a group of 8-12. Chef Traci is a gracious host and wonderful cooking instructor. We will be coming back again and again! One added bonus is that she rents out very reasonably priced rooms in her home (via airbnb) which makes it even more convenient for our out of town participants! read more

I contacted Chef Traci with 1.5 weeks to go before the day of our event. We wanted a team-building cooking class for the group, taking into consideration a few different dietary restrictions. Traci responded promptly and was able to accommodate us, even more so that originally thought. We went from a simple cooking class, to hosting our entire all-day meeting at her home! Everything was well organized, prepared on time, and the food was fantastic. The group prepped and enjoyed their own moroccan lunch. Traci had a freshly made breakfast and provided an artisan nut cheese and crackers in the afternoon. Our leadership had the absolute best time. We will be using Chef Traci again! read more

Chef Traci cooked for a dinner party we hosted. She was lovely and the food was delicious. It was a perfect summer evening menu and she accommodated our vegan guest wonderfully with the apps, salad, main course and dessert being all vegan and healthy without sacrificing any taste! She's very easy to work with and it was so nice to be able to relax and enjoy the company without stressing about the food! read more

Traci is a very talented chef. I attended her Chicken Tagine cooking class and learned so many things, not only how to make the chicken itself but also how to make sides for it and dessert as well. She explained everything very clear and made the class a lot of fun. Also, I was lucky to try some of her biscotti and it was so delicious that soon I will be taking the her biscotti class. Can't wait! Overall a great experience. I learned, I ate great food and also met wonderful people. I will be back for sure! read more

Chef Traci and her team are AWESOME! We had a team builder with a group of 20 last night and everyone had a great time. The venue Chef Traci chose for our group was fantastic and beautifully set up. Ahead of time, Chef Traci let me know that I can Instacart and have alcohol/beverages delivered. The bar set up was perfect and they provided glasses and ice. Appetizers were served compliments of the chef. For dinner, we had on hands instruction and cooked Moroccan food. Before cooking, we made our own spice jar to take home. The directions to cooking were very well put together and the food was delicious. She even had a little dessert for us...Chocolate Covered Dates. While I helped cook the Chicken Tagine and Carrot Salad, Chef Traci and her team prepared my vegan meal which is over and beyond to me. All in all, it was good vibes all night! Chef Traci and her team brought the energy and we had a wonderful experience! read more

My family set up a virtual cooking class with Chef Traci to celebrate my father's birthday and we had a ton of fun. Traci was very responsive and accommodating to our group's various time zones and needs, and the class was great. We had a mix of cooks with differing levels of experience and her teaching was straightforward, easy to follow, and useful and informative for everyone involved. She has a wonderful, friendly, open demeanor which helped make the evening feel relaxed, fun, and celebratory. And, at the end of the class, the food we made was truly delicious (we opted for the apple galette). I will definitely be saving and using the recipe again (Traci gave us lots of notes about different ways to use the recipe). Thank you so much, Chef Traci! I will definitely recommend you to friends and family for future events. I look forward to more! read more

Virtual online cooking class was super fun! Chef Traci looked at our in-home ingredients and recommended some easy-to-make recipes like soy ginger glazed chicken and two healthy sides. My husband and I recently participated in Chef Traci's virtual cooking class - this was a great way to do something creative and different, and connect with friends (and meet new ones) while sheltered at home. We loved Traci's tips (never knew that easy way to chop an onion!) and had fun seeing everyone else working in their own kitchens. Even my husband, who does not like to cook, had a great time! And of course the Moroccan Flatbread we made was delicious - fun to try something new, and we'll definitely make it again! Thanks Chef Traci! read more

My husband and I took a private Moroccan Class w/ Chef Traci to celebrate our anniversary. It was such a lovely experience. Intimate, knowledgeable, entertaining, and delicious! We ordered food from Chef Traci for my sister's birthday on April 22nd. The theme was moroccan. We had no other way to celebrate during the lockdown. Chef Traci did a phenomenal job she prepared a three course meal, was very considerate about our demands as we had a vegetarian guest. The food was delicious, quantity was big. It was no contact delivery and I can't rave about how much we loved the food. Thanks for helping out when we had no place to celebrate. read more

Planned a birthday cooking class with Traci. She was able to squeeze us in last minute and did a great job! Her in-home setting feels really intimate and our group preferred it over some of the more industrial settings that other cooking classes have. We got to take home spice jars that we got to assemble ourselves as party favors, which everyone really liked. Traci was awesome at answering our questions, patient with our rowdy group and led a great class. I'd definitely look into doing something with her again. read more

Had a great time in Chef Traci's private Moroccan cooking class--the experience was both informative and entertaining, the food was delicious, the goodie bag we got to take home allowed us to enjoy the flavors again the next day, and Chef Traci is personable, pleasant and fun to cook with. We had a most delicious Passover Seder meal delivered to our door. It came with all the necessary ingredients for a seder plate and a box of matzah. How perfect for this time when we must stay at home yet want to have a traditional celebration. The food was fantastic. Chicken soup with matzoh balls, roasted potatoes, asparagus, chicken thighs in a wonderful tomato sauce, and yummy chocolate cookies to cap it all off. Chef Traci is the best. read more

This is looong overdue. I did an executive team building event with Chef Traci end of July that was truly fantastic. Traci's lovely restored craftsman home was the perfect venue for the "Meatball Mania" direction we decided on for our menu. Traci had everything ready for us when we arrived, appetizers on the deck, recipe ingredients staged and ready. We split into small teams creating meatballs from around the world, engaging in healthy competition filled with lots of laughs. We enjoyed some wonderful wine as we cooked and then sat down to a beautifully preset dining table to enjoy the "fruits of our labor" and decide what team made the best meatballs. Traci provides all the sides to compliment your main menu as well as sweets for dessert. If you're thinking of doing a cooking team builder in a lovely home setting, Chef Traci should be your "go to". read more

Wow! Working with Chef Traci was a great experience. I hired her to cater breakfast for a bachelorette party. We had many dietary restrictions and they were not a problem for her at all, and she was very communicative. We had a light/casual breakfast of roasted veggie quiche with hashbrown crust (gluten-free, dairy-free), peach muffins (dairy-free), banana oat muffins (gluten-free, dairy-free), and a delicious fruit salad with apples, oranges, dates, raisins, almonds, and coconut flakes. Her delivery driver arrived promptly on time and gave me a call when he was close. I thought the price was great and cheaper than other places I had looked at. All of the girls LOVED the food, probably some of the best gluten-free muffins I have ever had. I highly reccomend working with Chef Traci! read more

FANTASTIC!!! My husband and I were given a cooking class with chef Traci as a Christmas gift. We didn't know what to expect as it was our first cooking class. Traci was so warm and welcoming when we arrived. She definitely is a great host. We got to mix our own seasonings and cook a Morrocan chicken dish that was delicious! What I loved about Traci is that she had great instruction and really encouraged us to take part in the process. We really appreciated Traci also going above and beyond for example, while our entree cooked in the tagine she gave us an impromptu lesson on how to make preserved lemons (which was not part of the class). Also, we got to enjoy appetizers in her beautiful backyard. Thanks Chef Traci for the great night and lessons. I really encourage anyone looking to try a cooking class to book with Chef Traci. You won't be disappointed. read more

Mother's Day was coming and as I don't have any children at home I chose a meal delivery from Chef Traci. It was the best decision. The ordering and paying was so easy. The food was delivered touchless to my front door. The food was sublime. Starting with an appetizer Hummus and vegetable lavash roll. These were so fresh and tasty. The main meal was Greek chicken skewers with lemon yogurt sauce, Farro pilaf with seared mushrooms and Zucchini noodle (zoodle) salad. Each part of this meal was delicious. It was capped off with luscious individual lava cakes. It made my Mother's Day very special. read more

The day before my Mother-In-Law's birthday I had the bright idea to do the Birthday dinner thing a bit differently. I reached out to Traci and was thrilled when she was available to do a private cooking lesson in our home and then https://www.yelp.com/profileleave us with a delicious dinner for 4. She not only made a Vegetarian version of the Chicken Tagine (with quinoa, a salad and dessert) but instructed us how to make her spice mix and brought extra jars and spices for us to fill our own to use in the future. Traci was a delight to learn from, had many useful tips and is very adept at modifying recipes and making them specific to dietary restrictions (eg. gluten free). The experience was a big success and my Mother-in-Law very much enjoyed the lesson and delicious dinner. Thank you Traci! read more

If you are like me and pressed for time and missing REAL food, Traci is perfect for you. I was sick of either eating frozen Trader Joes food or paying a fortune for less healthy take-out. There is only so many times you can go to the same places. Enter Traci! It could not have been easier for me and my family. Traci cooked at my house and I came home to more delicious food than I know what to do with. After eating dinner that I didn't have to cook in a house that smelled amazing, my husband said I actually looked healthier and happier - I am not making this up. I don't think I had devoured food like that in months. This is the perfect gift to a new mom, or a busy family welcoming a second/third baby. Could not be happier with our choice to welcome Traci into our home. Thanks so much Traci! read more

Chef Traci presented at a lunch'n'learn in our office. She was informative, interesting, approachable, and professional. She catered the food and taught us how to make the same foods she served. People really seemed to enjoy the presentation and she easily answered everyone's questions, providing lots of tips and tricks that our employees really seemed to appreciate. She was very professional to work with as well - she worked with us on the menus and content of the presentation, really tailoring it to our interests. I would highly recommend her as both a chef and a presenter. read more

My first ever cooking class and it was super fun! My diet is pretty restricted and chef Traci was all about finding the alternatives. She discussed ways to create cheese without dairy and adding different textures to food with nut-free options. I loved her enthusiasm to make sure I had a similar experience to all my coworkers. Speaking of coworkers... this was one of the first times we all got to hang outside of the work environment. I love that we got to spend time in this fashion. Traci split us up into smaller teams which allowed for group building but also some healthy competition. It was all laughs, all fun, and lots of learning. I'm so glad she hooked us up with recipes bc I can't wait to make this dish at home. It was so delicious. Her recipe was well thought out and the combined flavors and textures made an amazing final product. It was simple but tasted like something I would have paid lots of money for. Please check out Chef Traci. Shes amazing, brilliant, and loads of fun. read more

We had a fabulous experience with Chef Traci. We had such a good experience with her cooking class that we then had Chef Traci prepare dinner for a special birthday dinner party. The class was not only really educational in terms of new flavors and techniques, but it was fun, nicely social and a really delicious meal. Chef Traci prepared a great meal for 12 "foodies" for my mother in law's birthday. (These are people who dine at top restaurants and know good food!) All loved the meal, and communication and coming up with a flexible menu couldn't have been easier. Traci had great ideas how to arrange the menu to accommodate one vegan along with several people who favor meat/poultry. Traci is not only a good chef, but very nice, creative and a pleasure to work with. read more
