I've only been to Cook Out a few times since we don't have them in Las Vegas. First time I went was in Myrtle Beach a few years ago and surprisingly the Pulled Pork Bbq Sandwich is really good for a fast food restaurant. It also had a small dining room. I'm visiting family in Laurinburg , so last night I decided to give them another try. I got the Cajun Chicken Sandwich , Spicy Chicken Wrap , Chicken Quesadilla , and Sweet Tea. The drive thru lane was busy as almost every time I've driven by. I parked and went to the window to order. The lady who helped me was nice and my food came out quickly. My Cajun Chicken Sandwich was a grilled fillet and was juicy and fresh. The Spicy Chicken Wrap was okay but I took out the pickles. The Chicken Quesadilla was overcooked and had a tiny amount of chicken. At first I thought it was only a Cheese Quesadilla. Sweet Tea was good and not overly sweet. read more

I took no pictures because I was greedy lol. The food was super fresh and super hot so I was happy ! I got the cookout tray with a spicy crispy chicken sandwich, onion rings and cheese fries with a sprite. So much food. Great value for a combo and I love cookout because of how much you can personlize your combo. My husband got a two quesadilla combo and it was delicious (I tried it) with a Oreo mint milkshake that he loved. The service was good and the cashier we worked with was friendly. My only suggestion is can you give them ear pieces when they have to listen to drive thru orders? It would probably really make their life easier. All in all no issues and clean outside read more

I came for the cookout style hot dog. $2.99. Chili, coleslaw, onions & mustard. I got mommy one no mustard. There's a dual lane DT so cars moved okay. There's 2 windows to pay and pick up your order as well. Customers actually wait for cars to move accordingly. There's no attitude at all. You can't get that at Micky D's! The cashier was really friendly. Very respectful for a young adult. The sweet tea is banging. Hate to admit this. It was really good tea. The hot dog was sloppy good...Lol. The only negative for me was the chili was a bit spicier than expected. The coleslaw complimented the flavor. The cost of the meal was easy on my wallet. This was my 1st time eating at Cookout. My children love it. I'll definitely be back to try a few more items real soon. read more

Just awful customer service. They were rude and ignorant. See them talk back to several customers in front of us. People kept walking back up and also telling them things were left off their order. One lady went to tell them another thing was missing and was greeted with now what is the problem. They couldn't be less engaged or customer focused. The food was just okay and stuff on the tray was very sparse. Didn't listen to me when I said make the one order a tray instead of how it was originally ordered, thus charging me $2.50 more than I should have. Only plus was the milkshake. read more

Rudest people I've ever had to deal with. All of them. We eat here a lot because I own a company and we eat fast food a lot. Everyone likes cookout but I hate to go because they are so rude. I've seen them act this way with other people to. So I know it's not just me. I'd love to get in there and do some managing!!! If they mess the food up and you take it back you better be ready to get eyes rolled at you. They mess it up all the time. I'm fine with that but the attitude is bad. The food is usually hot. The speaker sucks. It's hard to hear on it. Cook out has really went downhill. It used to be affordable but inflation killed it. Not to mention there was a guy vaping right in front of the drive thru window. read more

This is the absolute worst cookout I have ever been too in my life. Wasn't even busy and it took OVER 30 minutes to get my food and not to mention I was being harassed by some no brained hill Billy's that had a little too much to drink. If you want to be disrespected, come to Cook Out. The employees both of the times I've gone have been so rude. Cutting me off in the middle of my order, carelessly throwing my food around, and wouldn't even look at me when accepting money or passing my food through the window. This place was absolutely horrible. The customer service was horrible even at a time where it wasn't busy. It took 30 minutes for a burger with hush puppies and cheese curds and they only gave me 3 singular hush puppies and 5 singular cheese curds. You can get a lot of food for your money here. So if you're extremely desperate and broke, this is the place to go. The quality of food is lacking and leaves a lot to desire. We ordered two burgers, two orders of chili cheese fries and two cokes, to go. This was one of the only places open at 11 P.M so I was thankful at least. I ended up tossing the fries out after the first bite as the chili tasted exactly what you'd imagine Alpo to taste like. The burgers are not fresh. They are either microwaved or frozen and then defrosted. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. Although we did not get a chance to try the 40 different flavors of milkshakes, I doubt we will ever be back unless we find ourselves in a toss up between Cook-Out burgers or a "ham sammich". Fast food barbecue can't beat the price. Try the cheeseburger cookout style. I love the milk shakes but the doctor won't let me have them anymore. I am a fan of the barbecue sandwich, but the coleslaw gets it a little sloppy pretty quick. Worth a visit. read more
