I don't put a lot of stock into a fast food experience - in fact, all I ask is that my order is correct. It helps me become impressed more often than disappointed. Today's visit was outstanding - one of the best experiences I have had at a McDonald's in a while! I headed to the restroom first thing as this was a road trip pit stop. The bathrooms were clean, stocked, and easy to find. I used the kiosk to order my food and it was very user friendly. When I stepped away from the kiosk, an employee let me know she could help me at the register. I let her know I just ordered at the kiosk. She immediately asked what I'd ordered and went to put my food together! I received my order and hopped back in the car. Not only was my order accurate, but everything was at temp. We all know McDonald's fries taste best right out the fryer, and these tasted as though I picked them out the fryer myself. The McChicken was hot and fresh with cool lettuce. My double cheeseburger was made correct and was super tasty! I would go out of my way to stop here in the future! read more

The Laurinburg McDonald's holds a special place in my heart. This is where I got my 1st job. It's looks so much different. Great actually with the Remodel. This will always be home to me 34 years later. I stopped here for the infamous steak and cheese biscuit without onions. The dual lane drive thru was wrapped so I walked inside. There were a few customers waiting. The cashier was attentive by letting the customers know what they were waiting on. This doesn't happen enough. Well Done . I walked right up and ordered at the register. I wanted to try the Dulce De Leche Frappee. They were out of product . I just got a soft drink with my Steak and Cheese biscuit. My order came up super fast so I had to verify if it was the correct one. The young man confirmed that it was. The store was clean inside. Tables, floors and drink tower. The crews are attentive and working together as a team. The steak and cheese biscuit without onions was hot. Fresh off the grill. The only issue is that the bottom of the biscuit was extremely hard. I didn't realize it until I was already down the street heading home. I wasn't going to turn around so close to change over. read more

Stopped in to get some lunch on our trip home and went to the bathroom first before going to get food however after the bathroom condition we decided against getting food, this McDonald's has one of the nastiest bathrooms I have ever been in! If your restrooms look that way there's no way the kitchen is clean and the sink in the ladies room was full of stuff so it was almost impossible to even wash your hands! read more

Going up counter the friendliness of the cashier was refreshing. The lady who handed me my food and coffee was also super friendly asking if I needed any condiments. They never put your sauces or napkins or straws in the bag. Try that when you have small kids. Your wait in the drive thru will be no less than 15 mins so don't expect "fast" anything. The food quality, as in how it is cooked and presented, will likely be a gamble. Asked about our order after 14 people had already been served and was told "they are working on it" ha. Later asked again and saw them grab our food that had been setting to the side. I ordered two Breakfast Sandwich's on the McDonald's app after being highly encouraged to so by the McDonald's website. I ordered 30 before the B'fast menu was to stop. The app gave me the code and my husband went there to pick up the order and the Manager said that the order came in " 2 mins after the cut off time" so ... the order was canceled and they refused to fulfill the order. The Manager was VERY RUDE to my husband who rightfully complained. My husband had driven over 10 miles to get there... so not only did we not get the sandwiches... we were also out time and gas. Winner of worst service ever!!! Stopped in to get a quick snack, waited 15 minutes with about 8 people in line and 15 employees standing around confused! No one taking orders.....an employees who just came off her shift was at the counter trying to buy food and leave. She became irritated before anyone else which says a lot. One employee picked a verbal "I don't care becasue I'm goings on my break" fight with my boyfriend who asked for the manager or anyone to take our order. Oh if only I could give zero stars. Me and my friends were on the way to the beach and decided to take what we thought would be a "quick stop" little did we know it wouldn't be. I was at this McDonald's for a solid 50 minutes. Setbacking our trip tremendously. I ordered on the kiosk since no one wanted to take orders at the counter and I chose to pay at the register since I only had cash and it took me 30 minutes to get someone to let me pay for my food. (The workers were there the entire time just looking at us)(I saw many just sitting on their phone just moseying around) the line got up to around 7 paying customers. Then it took 10 minutes to get my food and they didn't give me my milkshake and it took me another ten minutes to get a workers attention to get my milkshake I paid for. Not only did this take so long they also put my milkshake in a McCafé cup. After all this trouble we get back on the road only to find out our cheeseburgers were messed up and the fries were cold with no salt on them. Don't get me wrong I am not hating on McDonalds at all. I just had an amazing experience at the McDonald's in my home town but this specific location in Laurinburg was honestly so disappointing and an embarrassment to the McDonald's industry. By far the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The order took 20min to arrive. That's after waiting for 20 minutes to be able to order, with nobody in front of me. After that the order was wrong three different times! First they got the drink wrong, then the got the fries wrong, last they got the burger wrong. They also don't fallow the store hours at all. Christmas Eve and this McDonald's is serving up perfection. I've been to my fare share of other locations and this one served my girl and myself the best food. The nuggets were top tier crisp and tender. The double cheeseburgers were exactly what you want but then some that you never knew could be possible. I swear they got a 5 star chef cooking the food. I would give this McDonald's half a star, but...I'm not able. McDonalds has decided to install kiosks - why? Not to make ordering faster. Not by a long shot. 26 minutes after ordering, the first 2 people got their 20 piece nuggets, but no drinks including the strawberry milkshake. Says the food runner, "our machine is broken". This has become a joke on FB, Twitter, memes, etc. but it's not funny after waiting for 26 minutes. "What else would you like instead?" the food runner asks. (Notice, she didn't ask if she could give a refund.) this food runner's attitude was definitely "I don't make enough money for this crap and no, I don't care about you in any way." Next, part of the other order came out at about 32 minutes in. "Sorry, we're out of chicken wraps. What would you like instead?" says the food runner. (This person was Megan, who was nicer and more hospitable than the last - whose name we didn't get - but she had to be the one to deliver more bad news). At this point we should have known this 25 minutes ago, but the one who ordered asks if she can have the same burger someone else at the table just received. "Let me ask my manager." is the answer. The manager (PRISCILLA), who, we notice as the food runner walks a few feet away, is sitting behind us at a table with a computer. "No" is her answer, and although the food runner mentions we are unhappy at this point, the managers answer is "Well, I'm getting in trouble while I'm just sitting in a chair." In trouble? First, she never spoke a word or addressed the issue. Second, she made the food runner do it. We received more food after that, marked for dine in, but it was in a bag. The Big-Mac was in the bag, but the fries weren't, and the drink was no where to be found. And still, as we faked surprise at this, and a bit loudly at this point, the manager continued to work at a table. In a full, busy, backed up lobby - where lots of people received substandard service and part or their food - where half of what was ordered was not available and it took 30 minutes or more for people to find out - she sat. This is my first time eating at this McDonald's location. Upon entering the store I noticed that the dining room floor was extremely sticky. The line was long but the cashier was very friendly and we move through it any good pace. I tried out the new artisan chicken sandwiches and they were fresh and delicious. The only issue perhaps with the food is that when I ordered my McFlurry, it was not blended and they did not tell me that the machine was broken until I went to the counter and complained that my McFlurry was not mixed. Another big issue was the large number of flies that kept flying around the dining room. It was very difficult for me and my guests to focus on my lunch. The PlayPlace was nice to see because my son and his friends had a good time on it. read more

I'm a frequent customer here day or night but recently I have been to the drive through twice now past midnight(writing this review as I sit in the drive thru line, in the middle of the first and second pickup windows...where we watched the car in front of us have their order taken through the window, and the car behind us that pulled up to the speaker at the drive thru after us, being handed their food at the window behind)...there are at most 3 employees working the night shift at a popular fast food chain that has more customers past midnight than the 2-3 of them can handle...McDonalds Laurinburg upper management, you need to step it up, and make sure you have enough employees to supply the demand of the location they chose...the service tonight was slow but you can tell the employees are working as hard as they can to get it done...and I have to give a lot of credit to the gentleman who worked as the night shift manager/shift lead, it was clear he was stressed out a bit and running around to get things done, and still maintained a positive and friendly attitude...but that's not how the last time we came here last midnight went... Our first bad experience at McDonald laurinburg was about a week ago..The female night manager was working that night...so We pulled into the drive thru and we sat at the speaker, I kid you not, for at least 10-15minutes, saying "hello?" Into the speaker...then decided to pull up to the first window, so we sat for about 5 minutes, but we didn't see anyone...so we pulled to the second window, sat for about 5 minutes, no one anywhere in the store...so we drive around to go through the drive thru again, and I see an employee outside on her phone...we get to the drive thru, again, sit the for a minute, beep the horn a bit, and when no one answered the speaker we drove up to the second window again, no one to be seen again, beep a bit more and then decide to drive around one more time...only because it's past midnight and there nowhere but Waffle House to eat past midnight on a Thursday night in laurinburg North Carolina...this time we see 3 employees outside...I'm heated at this point...like, "Betty white type you not the same when you're hungry, here eat a snickers bar" type hungry...NOONE ANSWERS THE SPEAKER!! So we pull up to the second window FOR THE THIRD TIME IN 30 minutes...we see people in the store finally and it was like some how NOONE KNEW THEY WERE AT WORK...the night manager finally responded to my boyfriend yelling "hello" at the window, and she approached the window as if she had no idea there were MULTIPLE CARS pulling in the parking lot, through the drive through and right out the exit...she then opens the window, we tell her we've been through 3 times and waited for close to 30-40 minutes to speak to an employee and order food, to which she responds, "oh, they said you'll have to go back around and through the drive thru to order food...now at this point I'm just like, WHAT THE ACTUAL F*?!...so we left read more

I love this McDonald's! It's clean, contemporary, and is a participating franchise- so you get great value! I love the jalapeño double for $2. We stop in at Laurinburg traveling to and from the coast rather often. There are a lot of fast food choices close to the highway so avoid this place. It's a McDonald's so I'm sure the volume is enough that they don't care, but service here is absolutely atrocious. No one working the counter when we walked in, they were all gathered around watching something on another employees iPhone. One did look up and saw us, but went back to watching the phone. A manager said something to them, but that generated no response. A few minutes and someone did take our order. It took a very long time to get the food and the fries were cold by the time we did. McDonald's is the sorriest fast food restaurant in Laurinburg, NC. I hate to even go there. They can NEVER just get your order right. I went there today after picking up my son from school because that's what he wanted and I order him a cheeseburger kids meal with extra fries so that I get the normal size small fry instead of that little ass box that has like 5 fries in that's ridiculous. Well my receipt sure said extra fry but my son only got that little ass box with 5 fries in it. Then the cheeseburger barely had anything on them. I think mine had like a drop of ketchup on it, like to small pieces of onion and one pickle. If I could post a picture on here I would show you that I'm being honest. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. And one morning I went and got a steak biscuit combo with a coke and they didn't even give me my hash brown in the bag so I had to go back. I mean come people how in the hell can screw that up. And then they want to be paid $15.00 an hour. They can't seriously expect that kind of money with there slack customer service. And then on top of all that they rude as ever. They need to get some adults in that place to manage all them kids they got up in there. But no they rather pay kids to manage kids but yet have the nerve to say customers always complaining. Huuuuhhh I wonder why. I have eaten there at least six times in the last two weeks all at breakfast but don't plan to go back. Each time it seems to be worse. Workers and managers not wearing masks or wearing them below their noses. Droplets of COVID come out of your nose too people. That bothers me, but today was worse. They handed my food to the car in front of me. The person takes it in their car and looks it over. They figure out it isn't theirs and give it back. The young man at the window tries to give it to me. Sorry-not happening. I don't know who was in that car or if they have COVID. Then he looked surprised that I refused the food. Seriously? Also, the manager collecting money on the drive thru wasn't wearing his mask as he should have been. If the managers won't do it, why should I expect the employees would do the right thing. Went there for years and years food has always been good, but over the years service has sucked,we ordered McFlurruys only to have them hand stir , claiming the machine was down. Then another worker said they didn't make them anymore, but clearly the sign outside states they're still sold there. Along side of their famous tea. My wife went to the McDonald's in Laurinburg NC. Her order was taken at 4:32 pm for an Iced coffee and a tote of cookies. She was told the cookies were not ready and to pull over to the side of the parking lot in what was marked space number 3. she waited until 4:51 pm and she called me and said had not gotten her cookies. She had to get to work by 5:00 pm so I told her to call them and tell them she had not gotten the cookies. She called me back and said she let the phone ring 25 times and no one would answer. She had to get to work and she left without the cookies. She sent me a picture of the receipt and I went to the McDonald's a little after 5:00 pm. I went in side and spoke to a manager and showed her the receipt and told her she had to leave without the cookies. The manager and crew started to argue with each other about how they sent each other to the wrong car. So I stood there while the manager got the cookies. There was no apology for this screw up just a lot of blaming each other and arguing about who was at fault. They also refused to give me the district managers number because the store manager is worthless when it comes to handling problems. They constantly get orders wrong and leave things out after you have paid for them. I know mistakes happen, but this store is one constant mistake. Went here because there are no coffee places in this area. Asked for a specific order and was charged $6 for two iced coffees. This isn't a Starbucks, then when given my order I was given a warm coffees. When we told the worker about it she then decided to inform us that it didn't come in an iced version. It's 55 outside tonight and everyone felt it was warmer outside than inside the restaurant. One guest asked a male manager why it was so cold and he responded that he didn't know. They sometimes mess up your order. They don't understand hot cakes with bacon. It is always hot cakes with sausage . I even wrote the email address on the receipt and I got no reply.
