I read the great reviews of this place online , so I had to come see for myself. It's a small brick building on the side of Andrew Jackson Hwy in Laurel Hill. Small parking lot with plenty of business. They have a small indoor dining area that is a bar top facing the windows. A couple of picnic tables outside , which is where I ate mine. I got the Double Cheeseburger with Crinkle Cut Fries and a can of Pepsi. The burger patties were nice and thick and juicy. Hot and fresh tasting with lettuce and tomato. If you want a Traditional North Carolina Slaw Burger they can do that too. The Crinkle Cut Fries were hot , fresh , and tasty. I prefer Crinkle Cut or Steak Cut Fries , so this was a plus. The employees were also nice. They have so much other food to choose from. Bbq Pork Sandwiches , Burgers , Hot Dogs , Sausage Dogs , Corn Dogs , Fried Bologna Sandwich , Pimento Cheese Sandwich , Chicken Wings , Hamburger Steak Plate , Chicken Salad , Chicken Sandwich , Fried Okra , Fries , Onion Rings , Baked Beans , Green Beans , Slaw , and Mashed Potatoes , and more. So don't pass by this place on the way to the beach or elsewhere. Make sure to stop and get you some good ole Carolina Food made with Love.

I'm visiting family in Laurinburg , so last night I decided to give them another try. I got the Cajun Chicken Sandwich , Spicy Chicken Wrap , Chicken Quesadilla , and Sweet Tea. The drive thru lane was busy as almost every time I've driven by. I parked and went to the window to order. The lady who helped me was nice and my food came out quickly. My Cajun Chicken Sandwich was a grilled fillet and was juicy and fresh. The Spicy Chicken Wrap was okay but I took out the pickles. The Chicken Quesadilla was overcooked and had a tiny amount of chicken. At first I thought it was only a Cheese Quesadilla. Sweet Tea was good and not overly sweet.

I noticed that both cars behind me were in waiting spots also, as well as the one behind me directed to one of these wait spots. No vehicles were getting there food at the drive thru window pick up. For the next 15-20 minutes different employees came out trying to match the food they had in bags with the correct car. It was like watching circus clowns round up stray cats. After all this wait I finally got out of my car and was heading in to strongly urge them to give me my food. As I approached the building, an employee opened the door and handed me my food. I think I'll pick up a bag of chips and a cookie at the convenience store before ever stopping there again!

Today's visit was outstanding - one of the best experiences I have had at a McDonald's in a while! I headed to the restroom first thing as this was a road trip pit stop. The bathrooms were clean, stocked, and easy to find. I used the kiosk to order my food and it was very user friendly. When I stepped away from the kiosk, an employee let me know she could help me at the register. I let her know I just ordered at the kiosk. She immediately asked what I'd ordered and went to put my food together! I received my order and hopped back in the car. Not only was my order accurate, but everything was at temp. We all know McDonald's fries taste best right out the fryer, and these tasted as though I picked them out the fryer myself. The McChicken was hot and fresh with cool lettuce. My double cheeseburger was made correct and was super tasty! I would go out of my way to stop here in the future!

I could almost excuse it if she slid in a thank you at the end or some other pleasantry but nope, she did it again because I ordered 3 things. She never asked me what size soda I wanted so I was sort of surprised by my small looking coke when I received it. Not all was screwed up, I ordered a burger with no onions and received that and I also asked for BQ sauce and received that. You would be surprised how many times other people screw that simple request up. Unfortunately, I expect good customer service and when I I don't receive it, it is a major turn off. I don't have to come here, I chose to but I will not make that mistake again. A place of business would have to win me over to bring me back...there really is no possibilities of that happening here.
