I love Cookout but this location is awful. Sure, the people working the drive thru were good but the food was subpar. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries with Cajun seasoning just to get me through the day until dinner. I was looking forward to the great Cookout burger but it wasn't good at all. The bun definitely wasn't fresh. When the bun starts falling apart before you take your first bite, you can pretty much tell it's about a week old. The ketchup and mustard were running out the side and didn't cover the entire burger. As for the fries. Absolutely the worst fries I've had at a Cookout and close to the worst I've had anywhere. Talk about a limp, soggy French fry. It was awful. ate about four fries and threw the rest in the trash. I definitely don't recommend this location. read more

Florence has a good thing going with Cook out. It's your perfect late night pig out spot. I don't think they close until 3 or 4am. Food is so cheap! You can get a combo with a main entree, a side and a large sweet tea or soda for around $5. Cheeseburgers, chicken burgers with corn dogs slaw, quesadilla, fries,,, your pick. I stick with their burgers. It tastes like the smokey goodness grilled in the warmth of a summer evening in July. Yup it tastes like freedom folks. This is the spot if you like shakes. There's a menu dedicated to shakes with over 50 varieties. I'm a total lightweight and I start bouncing off the walls so I stay away from the shake menu. I know they use a whole cheesecake for their cheesecake flavored milkshakes so it's not for the faint of heart. Parking is a bit awkward because the lot is small and busy. I've parked my car in ways that I'm not proud of in this lot I'll admit it but I'm Asian so I think that makes it okay. The dining area is very woodsy with different sized tables. There are wide tables and benches making it ideal for a slightly larger group to eat together as well. All in all cookout is the place to get convenient and satisfying fast food. read more

Great food, I don't eat here super often but it's my favorite fast food place as of now. Most recently I went here with my mom and brother for our eye exam, I got a small cheeseburger and fries + water. The cheese was really soft and pretty melty, the bun was soft too and the burger itself was a 10/10 absolutely delicious. The fries are always great. 9/10 for the fries. Only thing I dislike is that the water is Dasani. I only hate that water brand cause they put salt in it so you drink more (and buy more of it.) read more

While visiting your 710 Radford Blvd Dillon, SC 29536 location we had poor service on our first visit to your burger chain. We ordered the steak style burger, western style burger and two orders of Cajun fries. What we received was one burger and two regular/ plain fries. We tried to give the girl at the window the bag of food and she said they can't accept it. She asked for out ticket on our bag and told us we only paid for one burger. When we asked to pay for another burger she told us we would have to drive around the building and order again. When we stared eating the burger we noticed that that it was missing the A1 and mayo. Plus the sautéed onions should be cut shorted, Whalen you take a bite of the burger you end up with a mouth full of onions because the onion slices are still in big rings and you can't bite them in half. Girl at the window was extremely rude and when I came up to the window to pay she didn't give me my card back. When I asked her if she gave me my card back she said she did and I drove off to check my pockets and car to make sure. I didn't have it. We went back to the drive thru to ask again and received another attitude. Which the she said she "personally gave all the cards back", we asked if they could just check around to see if it was misplaced and she said she KNEW she gave everyone their cards back. Then she asked us the name for the card and we told her, she "looked" and came back to say it wasn't anywhere around there. We asked her if she could just check out the drive thru window and she said the window was too high and it was too dark for her to see anything. There were two cars in front of us so by the time we were able to look the card was magically on the ground by the window. Cheap fast food. They're open late and you can certainly get a big bang for your buck here. This is obviously a far cry from health food seeing as you can get quesadillas and chicken nuggets as side dishes, but if you're looking for classic fast food, this place is much better than ol' golden arches. The burgers taste like what you'd grill at home. They've got that lovely grilled over charcoal taste to them. You know what I mean. They also have an obscene number of milk shake flavors, including a few seasonal ones that change throughout the year. Ok so you have to understand this going in... the cookout drive thru is a whole mood. It is not at all like any other drive thru you go in (I will add that this may or may not apply to daytime). No Karen, it will not ever become a five star restaurant. But if you aren't a total D and realize where you are, you can learn to appreciate the fact that you get a whole lotta food for wayyyyy less than anywhere else and you don't have to cook anything yourself! If you find yourself starving and somehow end up here but the line is so long you can't even turn into the parking lot yet, remind yourself that things could be worse, the place is still open and will cure your hangry attitude, and you already made it this far so you may as well sit tight...it won't take as long as you think, especially if you plan ahead like I do! If you want to have as great a time as I do, choose your mood! Go with a friend and play old songs that are so corny yet so perfect for jamming to that you can't help but start a session of car karaoke!! If you can't get anyone to ride with, get some headphones ready and pick all the songs you can think of that make you want to dance and sing and have your own solo jam session while you wait! Delicious food made quick and the price makes it a plus. My husband loved the Chocolate Chip Mint Milkshake which stayed thick and cold long after we had left. The interior was very clean and had a calm atmosphere even with many customers. The food was restaurant quality at a fast food price and send out. My only complaint was the hot dog while it had a good flavor it was both small on length and width, I also ordered myself a Cook Out Style Burger and Fries with Cajun Seasoning, based on reviews in my home the burgers, fries, milkshakes, and chicken sandwiches were perfect. The food is almost on par w/ any other cook out restaurant, the last 10 times I've been there I've had to repeat my order 4-5 times just to pull off and figure out they got the entire order wrong. If you try to take it inside for a replacement you'll run into 2 maybe 3 15 or 16 yr olds too busy having a little get-together w/ their friends to replace your order.
