The food, milkshakes and drinks are good. The prices are good. The service, though. They don't repeat the order back to confirm, they don't like to give you an itemized receipt even when you ask for it ( one even told me they don't do that but, I did get one the last time I was there). Almost every time they miss something on the order and get an attitude when we ask for whatever is missing. That would be solved by repeating an order back to make sure you got it right. Arrived at lunch time on Saturday. Food was good overall. Fresh and quick. Order was accurate. We have been to Cook Out several times and will return. The lower review is for the condition of the restaurant. I was pretty dirty. Restroom was dirty with no toilet paper. A couple of booths were missing tables and we could not find one that was clean. We had a great experience going through the drive-thru. We had questions about the menu and the lady there was more than willing to help. She was very polite and explained everything well. Once we got to the window, she was very pleasant and made sure that we got everything we needed. Honestly, I rarely have such a good experience at a drive-thru. I've never had major problems with this place until this past Sunday, March 3, 2024. I went here on my lunch break and the cashier never handed me back my debit card after paying and I didn't realize it until the next day, Monday, March 4, when I noticed multiple fraudulent transactions from my bank account. I've already reported my card lost/stolen, and received a new one, but the employee who stole my card (most likely the cashier) needs to be disciplined. Went to get milk shakes for five people. We went through the drive through. I had to repeat my order four times. The entire order. I ordered four other shakes and a cookie dough shake (later found out they don't have that). Any way they didn't tell me they did not offer that but let me order it. They kept asking me if I wanted a Oreo shake to which I said no repeatedly. I get up to the window and she shoves a Oreo shake at me, so I said again I did not want a Oreo shake. She proceeded to insist and argue with me that I ordered an Oreo shake. Keep in mind I had already told her I didn't want one earlier while ordering when she kept asking me if I wanted one. WOW, Tried it for the first time (in Aiken) and this place is the absolute bottom of the fast-food barrel around here. 5 workers standing around having a conversation while I stand waiting to order. All tables dirty, floor filthy. Bathroom looked like it belonged in a 100yr old gas station. Burger cooked almost to the point of burnt (and wrong toppings) onion rings cold and soggy. Since they had no interest in cleaning the tables before I sat down, I had none in picking up after myself either. One of the many wonders of Aiken is nothing but a bunch of immature, 'deaf', and bitchy assholes I have about ever talked to and this was just to order!! To give you some perspective, I was driving my 6 month pregnant sister around and my 15 year old cousin; my pregnant sister really want a milkshake. Anyways we pulled into the driveway and my sister started ordering from the passenger seat, instead of asking nicely, she proceeded to yell at my sister like she was her enemy! I got yelled at at for 10 minutes straight about using 'correct' cards when ordering!! This was one of my worst experiences ever going through a drive through!!! Is this cook out or Dicks Resort? These are some of the most rudest employees I have ever seen in my life. Imagine paying someone to conduct business and they run off your customers? Cook Out's corporate office needs to step in. I wouldn't say anything if the food didn't match the attitudes. My bacon wraps were just LITERALLY balled up in a tortilla. Not even rolled just like someone balled a piece of paper. Very unprofessional. Luckily sonics is right next door so I think they will start getting our business for now on. My husband and I usually stop by during a Friday or Saturday evening to order out for our family. It never fails, EVERY single time we pull into the parking lot, we have to wait for a spot. There are always trucks in the parking lot filled with teenagers & nobody eating inside. When we asked an employee, their response was "yeah, they come inside and purchase drinks and/or food". They asked us to order when we are ready so we ordered and then they just stopped responding and wouldn't say anything at all so we pulled up just for the drive through worker to say she told us to wait a minute (she did not say that she just stopped mid order) she asked us to pull back around just to be smart. Stopped by here for lunch, we got waited on rather quickly but waited about 10 minutes for the food, I asked the server how much longer it would be and she went to check less than a minute later she brought out my order and apologized several times for the delay.
