Some of the examples of how you can customize your own pair

Hands down the best Converse store I've ever been at. It's kind of tricky finding the store if you've ver been before. On Google maps it is misidentified as being located in the business buildings by Causeway St and N Beverly. It's actually behind these sets of buildings on the wharf. Head down N Beverly and make a right at the wharf and go towards Washington Bridge. The store is located at the back right next to the bridge and parking garage. This place has an amazing selection. All the current styles and colors plus a few exclusives that are very hard to find anywhere else other than online resellers, like garçons collab. This is one of two locations where you can order a custom designed pair of converse. A very unique experience. You start off with a base pair before picking materials, patterns, and accessories. The shoes take about two to three weeks to be completed and it costs about $10 to have it delivered. My sister designed a pair and the staff was super helpful navigating through the process and choices. Highly recommend this as a fun way to spend an hour or two especially on a cold and/or rainy day like we had in the spring while visiting Boston. After your visit, I recommend the brewery next door - Night Shift - great food and beer. This store I'd also very conveniently located next to the North line and the TD Garden arena.

Graphic design is available for any new, unworn shoe

I took a chance based on many other bad reviews because I only live 3 blocks away. As of 2/19/24 when I write this, I either got a rare experience or they've hired new people. The employees were friendly and helpful, and the girl at the design counter was knowledgeable. It was really cool seeing all the styles nobody else carry in stores. You can spend hours at the customization station. Boston exclusive graphics was a cool touch, you can get a pair of shoes nowhere else in the country will have.

I'm visiting from Los Angeles and came here after my duck tour guide recommended getting customized chucks - "anything you want." So I went on by and 1. The yelp address is incorrect. Actually address is 1 Lovejoy Wharf, Boston, MA 02114; 2. You can't get "anything you want." There are limitations on their customization. There are 2 stations for customization. One is to print on a design or artwork you bring in and the other is choosing the fabric. All the other stuff needs to be done online. I was a little disappointed but what can you do? It is what it is? I kept going back and forth with questions. Genevieve was super helpful and patient with all my questions despite knowing I was going to purchase anything then and there (what I wanted was not in store). CON: The only downside is that the day before some new shoe released and apparently sold out. Because of this, they weren't answering their phones because people were calling in about the shoe. I was calling in the morning to get the correct address since the yelp address was incorrect. They were purposely not answering. Totally a dick move in my opinion especially for people like me not calling about the shoes. Right before I left, one of the employees (maybe the manager) said they can "start answering the phones now" and hope no one asks about the new shoe. Definitely minus points. You answer the phone regardless and if you have to say the shoe is sold out to 50 million customers you said it's sold out to 50 million customers

This place makes it super difficult to get your own artwork printed on the shoes. Their instructions are "Bring your own artwork", however they don't accept flash drive. Really sucks when you go home empty handed after you gave your nephew a $100 gift card he can't use. And by the way they scare kids who created their own artwork with a legal review in case it's on "the internet". Tell me what isn't? Walking home with a traumatized kid. How does a child prove it's his or her own artwork? Update: ...3 weeks later not a word back from their lawyers if they can print my nephew's artwork. Great idea, pathetic execution.

Nothing at all special or flagship about this store. I expect a lot more from a store so close to its corporate office.

Why do they have this set up?! Otherwise, the selection is incredible- every brand plus their own DSG brand, which is good value for the quality. The whole store is huge. A giant concrete warehouse in Back Bay, it's kind of surreal and very cold and quiet. A big plus if you're downtown in the summer and looking for a vast dark space to decompress. The dressing rooms are great- they're all huge with big benches. Overall, this is a highly accessible store. A wheelchair or stroller can easily make it around. There are people around stocking and cleaning the fitting rooms, but otherwise you're blissfully left to browse with the option to ask if you need help. It is weirdly zen. Even with sales it is pretty spendy. They do have a lot of sales- easier to spot online- and their signature brand is lower price. If you walk over to the Nike store on Newbury it's the same price, so it just is what it is. I like the vibes, layout, and selection.

JUST RUN! * HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE…read more* RUDE OWNER & STAFF * UNREASONABLE RETURN POLICY I wanted to return the jacket when I found it was too small for me. But Bodega refused to do that since they told me that it was a final-sale product. I checked up, no obvious sign on the item page to show it's a final sale item, and no obvious sign on the cart page and check-out page. They told me there is a warning on the sale page: https://bdgastore.com/collections/sale, it's true, but I don't think it's enough to let the customer know well about our rights and help us to make the decision. If I knew the jacket could not be returned I might not buy it since it's a Japanese brand and the sizing usually is weird. I tried to sort it out by emailing them, but the result is not what I expect. Also, you can see from the emails attached, the online customer support manager is extremely rude and proud which makes me feel uncomfortable as a customer. An online support manager supports me nothing. -- To Billy B. below, claimed owner, No Offense, but are you serious? The manager, Nick, was being very rude and savage to me. I used to work as a PR manager for an international fashion brand, I know how it works to please the customers and provide the best service. I also shop from almost all the hype websites including HBX, END, Supreme, DSM,  ssense, ALD, NOAH NY, Mr. Porter, matches, LN-CC, farfetch, etc. It's truly my first time being treated this way. Firstly of all, It's obvious that your website and system are not clear enough for the customers to know about the all the on-sale pieces are the final-sale pieces which is very uncommon from other shipping retailers. The same situation happens all the time according to yelp comments and you have known about it but you do nothing. Your staff should have to apologize to the customers for all the inconvenience first because of your difficult policy. Always comfort the customer, then find the best solution. And then, go to improve your website and system. But now I only see that they use "the independent company" as an excuse to get rid of my reasonable request. By the way, most of the websites I mentioned above do mark the final-sale pieces very obviously for their customers. For sure that it's very easy for your IT guys to insert a final-sale sign on every on-sale page. Secondly, if the order confirmation is a commitment between us as you said to make me obey that I can't return the products, how you could be free to just cancel 4 items of the order without my permission? It's exactly to break our commitment and agreement, isn't it?  So, you can see what you did is totally unfair to the customers. As I said to your staff, I know how hard to run an independent hype retailer, and I want to support the business. I did shop with your website multiple times. But the customer service you provide is humiliating the people who pay money to support your business. If you, as a business owner, still feel it's nothing wrong with your service and staff, that could be a disaster.

There is nothing I hate worse than sneaker resellers! These bot-using parasites infect sneaker drops and leave shoe-loving sneakerheads frustrated and stinging with losses on release day. This is listed as a consignment shop ... but everything is brand new. The Yeezys in the window, the Jordan I in the display cases and the clothing scattered throughout. All new, all allocated and hard to find ... all about 400% above retail prices. My question is ... why would I shop here if I could find the same (or lower) price at StockX ... at least be guaranteed that the shoes I buy on GOAT are genuine (fakes are getting much harder to detect) ... and this place, like websites, does not allow you to try on the shoes before you buy them? Overall, this store just doesn't make sense to me. Especially in Burlington Mall. I hate the concept of glorifying resellers ... and in LA, the high end sneaker shops at least wrap their shoes in shrink wrap to protect them. Here, they're out exposed to dust, bottoms touching shelves, etc.
