So glad this place was recommended to me! A total gem in every which way. Service was incredible,…read morethey were patient and very knowledgeable about their products as I asked for recommendations. I ended up getting quiche for myself, pepperoni pizza for my wife as well as a plain croissant, chocolate pistachio croissant and maple cinnamon bun. The quiche was just okay in my opinion but everything else was stand out. My wife loved the pizza and the homemade ranch is AMAZING. The chocolate pistachio croissant was tasty, very flakey. The cinnamon bun was also very good but the frosting was a bit sweeter for my taste. A must visit if you're considering a solid bakery!

I was really excited to try this place for a late breakfast/ brunch on the way out of town. I'm…read moresorry to say it wasn't my favorite. We were hoping to try the breakfast sandwiches but were disappointed to see that they stop serving them after 11 am- which is fine, we ordered the vegetation artichoke sandwich to share instead. It was super wet and goopy without any crunch or other texture, but the flavor was good. The prices were high for what we got. We also tried the chocolate pistachio croissant which was also super messy and leaked everywhere on the warm day. The staff was friendly enough and there is plenty of outside seating.

Some places are so good that you forget to leave a review and take pictures because you're too busy…read moreenjoying the food. That perfectly describes La Fillette. We've dined inside before, but yesterday we stopped in to pick up pastries and were reminded why this is one of our favorite bakeries in Denver. We grabbed an éclair, a blueberry muffin, and two ham and Swiss croissants. Every single thing was outstanding. The croissants are incredibly flaky and buttery with the perfect ratio of ham and Swiss, the blueberry muffin was moist without being overly sweet, and the éclair disappeared embarrassingly fast. We always have every intention of taking pictures... and then we take one bite and completely forget. That's probably the best compliment we can give. We loved sitting inside, which is intimate, cozy but still roomy. We are looking forward to sitting outside in their patio space. Staff are also exceptional!

We were visiting Denver for Labor Day weekend and obviously we needed to find good breakfast spots…read more La Fillette was highly recommended. The place was modest and quirky, with a random small chandelier adorning this bakery. Families, groups of friends, and cyclists were in the mix of patrons on a Saturday morning. All servers were very friendly, helpful with dish descriptions, and fast! The ham and cheese croissant and a shared cinnamon bun was in the cards. The pastry was flakey, buttery, and very tasty. The sesame, roasted onion and garlic sprinkled on top of the pastry was delightful. The warm cheese and ham inside were also good. The cinnamon bun was a nice mix of croissant and cinnamon bun; also flaky and buttery. I am guessing flakey, soft, and buttery is their signature! One minor thing, that coffee was not good, but the food made up for it. Overall, this was a very nice place that got us interested in all the pastries with that buttery flavor. For sure a recommend for visitors and locals.

Not a bad place I'd come back here when everything is open but seem like a cool place for one stop…read moreshop. Bakery was the best option for us Other places we just didn't crave maybe next time

Visited on a random weekday. We walked to this location since it was walkable from our hotel. Looks…read morelike there's ample street parking but you might have to pay. Don't quote me on that. There were plenty of seats and it was clean. Even the bathrooms were clean. It wasn't super busy on a weekday morning. We walked around to see what they had and it was a breakfast spot, pizza, bakery, seafood, chocolate and coffee. I wasn't sure what the other one was in the corner but it didn't look interesting (I think sandwiches). I did wish they had something Asian like a ramen spot or even a pho spot but nothing. We ordered a breakfast sandwich called the Thunderbird at Call Your Mother. It was about $11. It was made fresh and it was super duper hot that we waited for a bit for it to be warm in order to eat it. The egg was fluffy, the sausage was filling and the cheese was melty. The only complaint I had was it was a little too sweet for me. It has honey and I guess I should have asked if it could be on the side. It really needed the hot sauce and it made it better. The other item we ordered was a ham and cheese croissant at Izzio Bakery. I think that's what it's called. They heated it up for me and it was about $8 after tax and tip. It was so good warmed up. The cheese was gooey and it was the right amount of salty goodness. The hubs and I kinda fought for the last bite. Would definitely would like to try other items from there next time we are in town. We would return but wished there was a noodle spot and it would make it so much better.
