I bumped my wife's Corolla in an airport parking lot and it had a scratch near the front bumper. I explored different body shops and even went physically to one of them in Plainfield and when no one was there in that body shop, I decided to Contours Auto Body, which was right around the corner. Though not my first choice, Contours Auto Body did a fantastic job with my wife's car and that too in a short span of time. Got my 1986 Monte Carlo ss appraised for a quote, car got hit by shingles and completely mangled the paint.car was taken in December 4 2020 after they worked the job out with the insurance company.The car was going to get completely resprayed I decided to get the rear bumper , rear taillight housing and tailights switched to 87-88 style and also replace door seals with adjusted to close the door easier (you would have to really push it to engage fully and windows were not flush with the seals ) out of pocket . Josh assured he could do it and I would love the end result. a little while later and I got the car back march 29 2021, sun was already setting and I was so excited to get my car back! Once I get to see it the next day in the sunlight I noticed a bunch of flaws for a car that just got repainted. color of the car didn't Match Remotely close to old one rear trunk and bumper didn't align, fish eyes, and dents in the hood roof, cracked paint, doors were never align or adjusted (door pin bushings were never replace so how could you make adjustments) List was never ending . I took it back and they gave it another shot . keep in mind I wouldn't get any updates I would have to call to check in on my car through this whole process .I stopped by April 16 2021 since they would Just say were waiting on this or that or that we're working on it .Just to find my car pushed to the back. half finished while they worked on new cars that came in. Got my car back April 29th still was not happy since the color was off and we had little to no communication but to them this was the best they could do and I took it. now just yesterday January 13 2022 I pulled the car out and washed all the dust off from being in storage and found the paint bubbling. I called them up today Jan 14 2022 just for to say they are not going to do anything about it, it has no warranty, and car had old paint on it and that caused the bubbling. I uploaded pictures to show everyone the headache this has been. I tried to help the little Bussiness just to get what everyone fears from doing so. In the past 2 years, I have brought my car to Contours for various issues. The first time was to repair damage as a result of an accident. Jody, who works in the front office, was very helpful in dealing with the insurance company. She happily jumped through their hoops so that I didn't have to. Her wonderful service saved me a lot of time and aggravation. She even helped me reserve a rental car. Josh did a great job replacing the dented door and trim. It looks as good as new. I have brought my car to Josh and Jody several times since to address various minor issues. Josh makes the repairs very quickly. And Jody is always wonderful to deal with. I took my car to three different body shops for quotes. Contours quoted me $50 more than one shop, and $120 more than another. Unfortunately both of these other shops could not get my car in for nearly a month while Contours could immediately so I ended up going with them. Is it any wonder they had no wait? After getting my car back I noticed a number of issues with the repair job. The clear coat was full of little bumps and nubs as if dirt or debris had been trapped under it. There were a few dark spots in the paint color. There was also a nasty tape line. Where they had sprayed the clear coat on the entire rear bumper was much duller looking than the rest of the car I brought the car back to get these issues corrected and all they did was polish the car down. They tried to tell me the tape line was from when the factory painted the car. I find it hard to believe the manufacturer would put an uneven tape line on the car considering how they paint entire panels of cars. The car still has the tape line and looks much duller than the rest of the car. read more

I will first start this review by saying that I really love my car. So, when I found scratches on the hood I was very upset. I tried to take care of it myself without any improvement. I had to find a professional to fix this problem. I got on the internet and I found Contours Auto Body and two other shops. The first shop I visited was this one and I was immediately impressed with the cosy yet professional look and feel of the place. I was delightedly by the person at the front desk (Jody I believe her name was) and a very friendly dog. From this point forward the customer service that I received was at the utmost level. I then met with (I believe) Josh and his service was equally great. He explained to me what he had to do to fix my problem and also how long it would take. After going back to Jody and receiving my quote I was surprised at how reasonable the price would be. I than took off to meet with the other two places I had looked up. After receiving all the quotes and comparing the services. I chose Contours. Out of all the shops this one had the best customer service with the best price. The reveal: After a few days without my car it was finally ready for me to pickup and when I did I was not disappointed. My hood looks better now than when I received it from the dealership (this is a new car by the way, not used). I was in a state of shock and awe. I still cannot believe my car could like so good. I went to Contours to have them repaint a motorcycle part for me. They were honest and couldn't do the paint job for me. It was a specialized chrome on plastic job. In the end, they advised that I could probably order the finished part online which I did. They took the time to look at the part and come up with the best alternatives. Even though they didn't end up painting the part, they were extremely gracious and helpful. I won't hesitate to bring larger projects to them given their bias for customer service. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. I don't even know where to start, I love these people. I was referred here by Douglas Automotive after I backed into my sister's driver's side doors in the driveway. I went to Contours and met Josh and Jody and their adorable dog. They quoted me at less than half of what the other shops did. It saved me over $1000 and my sister's car looks better than new. On top of that they came in $20 under the quote they gave me and gassed up the car! I want to invite them to Thanksgiving and Christmas and my wedding. We were having a lot of issues with insurance and the places they tried to send us after I was rear-ended. Luckily we found Contours! Jody was awesome from the moment we talked to her. We explained the situation and she could tell I was super frustrated. They happened to work with the insurance company that we were dealing with and from the instant I spoke to her, I knew we were in the right spot. She reassured me right away and got to work. She took over dealing with the insurance, set up a rental car, got the car in and after an unexpected mechanical issue, also coordinated with a great mechanic shop across the street. The repairs were done well with QUALITY parts (all the other places wanted to use junk), the communication was great and they even fixed a broken door handle piece because they noticed it and thought one of their guys had done it. It had been broken so long that I had forgotten about and might have never noticed but they TOLD me they broke and fixed it which I thought showed a lot of integrity because most places probably would have said nothing. They also stayed open a tiny bit late for us on the day of pickup because with getting off work, both of us having to meet at the rental place and then get over there to pic up our car, we couldn't make it and needed those extra few minutes. When we got there, she explained everything and gave us all the necessary paperwork and we were good to go. I am so thankful we found them! I would recommend them and will use them again for any future auto body needs. It's hard to find a good place that doesn't take advantage nowadays! read more
