My wife and I have a 2006 Mustang GT (newly bought for us in the Spring of 2015). We went in to get the quarter panels on the inside of the doors fixed. The vinyl was coming off the foam inside (glue was dissolving). We mentioned that we were going to get all the paint dings fixed in the Spring of 2016 with him based on a personal recommendation. When we got the bill, we were charged for the doors (which was expected) and a couple of dings that were fixed. The bill ended up being over $250 more than expected. We paid the bill just to get the vehicle back and then called back to complain. He does services on the vehicle that was never authorized which is against the law! When talking to him, it seemed like this was a normal practice and he claimed he didn't know he was breaking the law but "just didn't want to get sued" after I read a passage from the attorney Generals office about auto mechanics. We picked up the car at night so we couldn't inspect it because it was outside but upon getting it home, we found large scratches across the hood and on the fin of the vehicle that weren't there when it was brought in. From talking to some people in the car business, it sounded like someone dropped a towel while drying the vehicle and started to dry the vehicle with a pebble on it. We now have more work that needs to be done on the vehicle. On to the owner's character. My wife took the vehicle in and his first comment about the vehicle after finding out the make and model was, "there's nothing sexier than a girl that knows how to work a stick" and when picking up the vehicle, a guy (that doesn't work for him) said, "Nothing hotter than a girl in a mustang." Both comments are completely out of place. I wouldn't go back to this person even if the work was perfect because of these comments. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE OR GO BACK WITH ANY VEHICLE.

After we got the car home, I went to look for the glasses, and the pouch they were in was shoved in the storage compartment in the driver's door, but no sunglasses. When I called the shop and spoke with John, he offered me $100 to compensate us for the glasses. I told him I would need to speak with my husband, since they were his glasses, and he's the one that paid for them and knows how much they were worth. When my husband called back and spoke with John, he only offered him $50. He said it's because he trusts his guys and that because another customer at some point in past brought a car in that had cash in it, and that wasn't stolen, then the glasses couldn't possibly have been taken by one of his guys. He may trust them, but we certainly don't because expensive sunglasses like that don't just disappear into thin air. They did good work on the car but are not trustworthy at all if you have anything of value in the car. And yes, we did sign a waiver, but that doesn't give them the right to take whatever they want from it. Very disappointed in the theft and the owner's response.

I had gotten quotes from chain autobody shops for a tremendous amount of money. In a bit of desperation I gave Daniel's a shot, as I often passed the location. He was extremely friendly and personable, and was very upfront and honest about the costs. Luckily, they were MUCH lower than the chain shops were. He helped me do some temporary repairs to the roof to keep water out until parts arrived. He did the work in two days, at a fraction of the cost of what one of the major stores quoted. Above all, he was so warm and friendly, chatting with me about cars, and checked in as he was doing the work. It's very rare to find a small shop for ANY service now that still treats you with kindness and honesty, and Daniel definitely does that. I would recommend him for any auto body work.

I was hesitant to go this route as the car is 10+ years old and I knew the paint wouldn't match.
