Called me a R*tard multiple times over a simple conflict. Use another company not these old pricks.

I built a new European-style tilt turn window for our guest room and wanted a nice old-school…read moreroller shade to finish it out. I poked around and was happy to find Zwick. They had the best choice of fabrics and colors, which was a key consideration. Most of the others I found online seemed to have very blah generic fabrics. I was also happy to deal locally, and directly with the people that actually make the stuff rather than with internet chatbots. I called them with a few technical questions and immediately could tell that they knew what they were talking about, and they gave me some good advice. I also found their price and lead time very reasonable for made-to-order work. I have a set of kitchen windows underway, and will be returning to them for those shades. BTW, in addition to vintage spring-roller shades, they make shades with more modern controls, and handle all sorts of other window treatments, although I did not get into that stuff. When I picked up, I saw they have a nice show room as well.

We also needed a couple of new blinds - one motorized dark+shade and one manual shade. Mike & Debbie were very prompt in coming in for measurements and diagnosis, gave a quick quote, and place an order for us. The repair was difficult but the technician was creative and it took them more than an hour but they didn't charge us extra on top of committed sub $100. Installs took a couple of extra trips for them due to the top not fitting into the wall frame, but they got it done neatly and on time. Very friendly and reliable team!

We first met him when he was an installer for another blinds company, and his professionalism and top-notch workmanship stood out from the start. Since then, he has installed blinds and shades in our past two homes and consistently delivered excellent results. I was initially referred to Can by my mother-in-law, who uses him for all her properties, including high-end condos and rental units in downtown. She even trusts him as her handyman. We recently moved into a new home that came with existing Hunter Douglas blinds. When we reached out to them for additional shades to match, the quote we received was astronomically high. That's when I knew I had to contact Can. I learned he had started his own company, Blink, and he was able to offer us nearly identical, high-quality battery-operated shades--at 80% less than the big-name brand! The shades took about a month to arrive, and he installed all eight in a single day. They look fantastic, function perfectly, and match our existing blinds beautifully--all at a fraction of the cost. We're thrilled with the outcome. We put another order for two manual shades in our master closet, $400 installed for both! That is cheaper than buying rods, curtains, and installing them. One note: He primarily speaks Cantonese and has limited English, but enough to get the job done and what you want. Communication is easy through text, and he's always responsive and clear. We're so happy with the work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Blink to anyone looking for high-quality, affordable blinds and excellent service! He is always my go to blind person and I have had several friends use him who were also super happy with their blinds and installation.

(The company we purchased from went out of business and I could not find anyone willing to help). Blink responded to my Yelp request quickly and, after reviewing photos I sent, determined they could fix the shade (one of three). Blink was able to come within the week and really knew their stuff. Not only did the gentleman fix the shade, he was able to replace another shade's motor so the set of three shades once again operate together via remote control. It was a bit pricey but way less expensive than replacing all of my family room shades. Happy customer!

I am so impressed with this company. Chris, the owner, is totally involved in the entire…read moreprocess--he came to our house with samples, measured, ordered, and installed. He did everything, and this made the whole process so much simpler. We had an issue with an error from the manufacturer--the bottom of the blind wasn't level with the sill. Called Chris, he came out and agreed--no problem. He ordered a new blind, installed it himself when it was ready, and then pointed out that a few of the rows toward the bottom of the blind were slightly crinkled and said the crinkle should smooth itself out, but, if not, we should call him and he'd l have it remade again. I was so impressed with this. Turns out we didn't have to call him. The crinkle smoothed itself out as he expected. FYI: The last time I dealt with a window treatment company, one of the woven blinds we ordered had a very noticeable flaw when it was installed--it was somewhat unraveled in a very small spot, but, because the installer wasn't the owner, and only did his job--which was to install--he didn't say a word about it. So we just thought we'd have to put up with the flaw, and we HAVE been. If it had been Chris, HE would have pointed out the flaw and would have reordered a new blind without hesitation. I wouldn't use anyone else for window treatments in the future. DELIGHTED to give Bloomin' Binds a top-notch review!!!!! Thanks Chris for such superb service!

The owner of this business can just be a bit more polite. I bought one small drapery that costs me $500, and they quoted me $400 for installation. I have no objection to the quote--it is a free market, so you can quote whatever you want. I replied him, trying to be polite (and hope he will send a lower quote, if possible), saying "this is too high for a small window, so thank you but I will pass". I think for a normal, polite person, they can just ignore my message if they don't want to lower the price. Or they can simply say something like "price not negotiable" or "have a good day". Surprisingly, they replied below: "You could have just ignored it. Thanks for making me pay for you to say no" Very rude. As a customer, I'm looking for services. I never expected that I will be educated by someone. This is like walking into Walmart and asking the price of an apparel, the staff tells you it is $100, then I said "oh that's too expensive", then the staff replied "you could have just put down the clothes without saying anything--just shut your mouth" I don't think you paid me anything, nor did I to you. Again, I hope you will be doing well in your business, and I don't doubt your professionalism. I am just writing down my current thoughts. Have a good day! Follow-up: the owner just replied me and apologized. He told me that Yelp charges them whenever we reply them. So the best way is not to respond, if you think the price is too high. I would accept his apology. You cannot expect anyone on Yelp to understand all the hidden fees charged in the system, so if that happens again in the future, hope the owner can explain it to the (potential) customers in a nice way
