Second job was to add electrical connections to a four season room I had built and add an electrical connections for a heat pump. Went extremely well and a very fair price. Third job was to fix a closet light that was not working - turned out it was a tripped GFCI in the bathroom next to the closet. No charge. Fourth job was to diagnose why two of my three outlets would not work. Just figured that out right now and actually reduced the cost because they fixed it much quicker than they expected. This is my fifth time hiring Safe Electrical to do various projects around my home and every time I am blown way with their high quality of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and organization. This time, I hired Safe Electrical to rework the underground voltage segment from my home and my detached garage and run a new 60amp voltage segment and install a new 8 space service panel in the garage. This had been a project we had planned on doing for awhile, but one that I had been a bit nervous about because it entailed digging a trench through our lawn, landscaping and stone pathways to lay the new metal conduit. That being said, the entire project went incredibly smooth, and the final installation was done flawlessly. The entire project was completed in one day and other than the area dug for the new trench in the lawn, you would never even know the project was done. One important thing I wanted to highlight about Safe Electrical is their incredible staff & crew members. Every person that works for this company gets an A+ for professionalism, conscientiousness and dedication. I always feel like I am in great hands with this company. They protect all interior services, keep their tools organized and worksite clean, and they put on and remove protective shoe covers EVERY TIME they exit and enter the home. They also respect our property as if it is their own, taking care to protect walls, woodwork & doors while carrying in/out supplies and tools. They also made sure to close the exterior door every time they left the house to keep the heat in, without being asked, and every person politely asked to use the restroom if they needed to. It may seem like inconsequential details, but these small acts of professionalism and respect don't go unnoticed in our home and speak to the level of care they take in their work. I also never feel uncomfortable asking questions and every team member is knowledgeable and respectful. I had an absolutely phenomenal experience with Charles and Safe Electrical. First off, Noelle (who took my call, scheduled my estimate, confirmed my appointment, and followed up with me throughout) was great! Friendly, prompt, and professional. I had them out to give me an estimate on installing 3 ceiling fans (2 outdoor with no existing electrical hookup, and on inside), and install 2 outdoor cameras. On the day of the estimate, Charles came out on time and walked my property with me while talking me through the plan. He also noticed some additional things he suggested to me could be done around the house. He gave me 3 estimates in 3 budget ranges and I chose what was best for me. I contacted them a while back looking to get a quote for future renovations on my home. The electrician that showed up was a bit late (he called to let me know,) but courteous, knowledgeable & walked through everything that I wanted, explaining what was feasible & his thoughts. This took maybe 15-20 minutes. He left me his card & said he will get back to me with a quote in a few days, but right before he left he made sure to make a comment questioning how I would pay for all of the work which was odd. I never heard from them again. I figured the list of things needed some time to quote out & it was no rush so I gave them a few weeks... still no quote. I started emailing & called specifically stating that they didn't need to quote out every little detail... just give me a ballpark estimate based on their previous experience in-order to make it much easier on them...the lady over the phone I believe said they don't do ballpark estimates...ok. It was weird since it's not like an estimate is legally binding & set in stone. Weeks turned into months into years...nothing. I gave up a long time ago on getting that quote from them. A year or so later something happened that exposed & shorted out some wiring in a wall. I sent SAFE a message letting them know the situation & if they could send someone out as soon as they could since it was a serious fire hazard...crickets. I assume they either don't like money or don't want me as a customer even though I've literally done nothing to deserve the silent treatment. Luckily other electricians reached out & fixed my issue as well as got me some ballpark figures on the work I was looking to get done. read more

Hello, my experience with these folks was certainly disappointing. I called them to my home to do a rather small job replacing a couple of electrical outlets. Apparently since I'm a senior citizen they look to see if they can take advantage of you. First they question you on your possible electrical knowledge, then based on that they make a judgement on how much they can overcharge you for the work. They replaced a couple outlets that at the most maybe worth $250, they charged me almost $500. They also tried to sell me a ridicously overpriced home improvment job. read more

My recent experience was so negative I feel responsible to share: After 4 years of trusting Safe Electric to be honest & fair with pricing and work quality, I now realize that the work they did in my home was sloppy, not done to prevailing best practices, and extremely overpriced. I was a good reliable customer and deferred to Safe's advice for years; after all, Charles took advantage of my trust and way over-estimated a large project which had to be completed by another electrician. *** My advice: while SAFE ELECTRIC may be fine for routine things, if you are doing a larger job: get another estimate!! They replaced the 3 outlets, and were out the door in under 1 hour. GFCI outlets are about $25 each. So the remining $650 was charged for labor, for less than 1 hour.
