It was alright. My ceviche was bugger than most places lately. They told me the fish was red…read moresnapper so that was a slight pleasant surprise. My daughter got a kids pasta which was just some small ate of spaghetti. But overall it was good food. Service on the other hand wasn't that it was bad but I felt the server acted as if we were being a nuisance. I wousl talk spa jsh and she'd answer in soanish but always come back in English. We got like 1 min to look at menu before she was ready to take order. Asked for 2 more minutes and seemed irked at my request. The one of our cups was dirty as well. Service wasn't so bad outside of the wanting to get our order in super quick (and we were the only ones there). But at least good was a over average

My wife ordered the Pollo a la Brasa (¼ Rotisserie Chicken), which came with fries and their Arroz Chaufa (Peruvian fried rice). At first it looked simple, but it had way more depth and flavor than your typical rotisserie chicken -- she really enjoyed it. We also tried the Suspiro Limeño for dessert. It was a bit sweet for me, but definitely unique in flavor and a fun way to end the meal. The service was attentive and courteous, and the restaurant itself was clean and inviting. The whole experience was a nice change of pace from the typical mountain-town restaurants we usually go to. Cozy, flavorful, and authentic -- we'd definitely come back next time we're in the area!

Great spot! Even for families…read more The entrees were fantastic and they even allow them to be split and they divide it into two entrees which was fantastic for my wife and daughter who are lighter eaters. The pork chop was a favorite, and the baked potatoes are Idaho sized so be mindful but it's recommended. The mocha pie was a favorite even for those of us who don't care for dessert or care for coffee flavored items, so give that a shot it was very good. Overall it's a must hit spot when in town no matter your party size or age. Get your name in early and eat up!!

At 8pm they are out of prime rib, halibut, trout, artichokes, ribs, and salad! WHAT is going on? I do understand this sort of thing happening on occasion, but literally the last 4-5 times anyone in our family has attempted eating here, it has been such a bad experience like this! Bad food, out of main staple items, or summoned to the dreaded basement... Unfortunately, after 46 years of dining at Pioneer, I think we are done! The past several seasons, something seems different. Always out of MANY items, and service is blah! It was literally a family favorite, so it's sad to even be typing this!!! Shout out to Sawtooth Club for getting us in last minute and serving a delicious meal! We will be back to support them!

We were sat on the patio, which was nice to capture the evening breeze and just missing the height of the sun and heat. They have some lights strung around the place so I can only assume it gets even better at night. The patio did seem to be at an able so be careful with your liquids on your table. I had the veal piccata which was absolutely delicious, my only complaint was the portion size. I'm used to getting at least twice the amount of pasta at an Italian restaurant, but I digress. For desert I had the apple crisp, it wasn't really crisp in my opinion and would honestly not recommend it unless you are just a huge apple lover. All in all it was a lovely evening dinning experience.

The food went out ok to our taste though. We were expecting an authentic Italian restaurant. The garlic bread and chicken parmigiana turns pretty good according to hubby. I felt my seafood pasta had too much sauce and salt however missing a bit of the original flavor of the seafood. The tiramisu cake is quite spongy - doesn't taste like a tiramisu yet a chocolate cake? However we can understand why this is a local facorite from the staff's great service.
