She was professional and communicative during our initial quoting process. When we needed to make adjustments to our estimate to better align with our budget and specific water goals, she was transparent and worked with us to ensure our promotional discount was locked in. There was zero sales pressure. When it came to the on-site work, our technician, George, was a standout. During the initial home inspection, he carefully assessed our basement layout. Our home features a tight crawlspace under the basement stairs right next to the water heater. Rather than pushing a generic, bulky system that wouldn't fit right, George got us a specialized 'squat tank' configuration. He explained how he packed extra high-capacity resin into the shorter tank to perfectly match a standard 30K grain system's softening power. He also thoroughly walked us through our backyard line layout, breaking down the structural and financial reality of our plumbing footprint so we didn't waste money on unnecessary wall demolition (we wanted a backyard bypass but it turned out to be quite unfeasible given that the pipe ended somewhere in the walls rather than funneling back to the basement). On installation day, George and his partner, Todd, arrived right on time and did an immaculate job. They mapped out the copper lines beautifully and positioned the brine tank right at the front of the enclosure so lifting salt bags would be incredibly easy on my back. They even took the extra time to show me how to operate the red V3006 bypass arrows behind the Clack WS1 control head so I can easily run municipal hard water to my side garden spigot whenever I need to water the lawn or backyard. Moreover, they walked me through when to replenish the brine tank as well and warned me not to fill it too high so that "salt bridging" wouldn't occur near the top of the brine tank. The installation looks incredibly clean at a glance. Our new Clack softener is running flawlessly and our water has never felt better (at least according to my happy wife LOL). I started there as a rep, and from the first day, I can tell they were nothing but scammers and liars. All they cared about was money, and they would rip people off daily by passing overpriced equipment that were filled with false promises, again THESE SYSTEMS COST ANYWHERE BETWEEN $5000-9000 which is ridiculous because you can find the exact same thing elsewhere for way cheaper. The (previous) owner and trainers encouraged you to skip on any details of the machine (interest rates, the fact that you are charged for filter changes every year) and even go as far as to lie to customers' faces about any questions or concerns they might have. At this point it wasn't about being gullible and buying the system, you are being misled, pressured in and lied to about everything and only after they take your money do they tell you the details about the filter changes charges (which can be hundreds of dollars to replace), the service cost and what really covers your warranty and how long its there for(which again is completely trash and does not cover anything at all). They tell you that you only have to pay for the system and not the maintenance, BUT THEY LIE ABOUT IT. The workplace was toxic and hostile, especially with Adam (owner), Josh, Al and a lot of the reps there. They treated you like trash, made you feel you weren't doing enough and overall felt they could disrespect you verbally any chance they got whether in an aggressive or passive aggressive tone to straight up yelling at you. Its a cult like behaviour environment and if you have questions or concerns the owner looks at you tells you to either shut up or talk to him when you have more money than him, what's worse is the way they fake their emotions in front of the other new recruiters just so they can also trick them into thinking they are "nice people" but that's far from the truth. They pushed their system on us reps as well, claiming we will be on "equity" and that every system we sell, we can get ours for free. Once I hit my target, they lied to my face, saying that my sales don't count and that it needed to be people that I knew. I had about enough with their lies and the way they treated customers and staff at this point. Even after the training, they push you to sell to your family and friends in a PYRAMID SCHEME, and only then can you receive your "pay" for the 4 days of UNPAID training you do with them and their list of clients WHO ARE TRICKED INTO GIVING THEIR INFO FOR A FREE SHOWERHEAD. After you sold to your friends and family they come after you and try to pressure you into buying their low quality systems so you can complete "equity", take my advice AND DO NOT WORK HERE EITHER. They recently just switched to a new owner named Ted and fired everyone for BEING SCUMMY SALESMAN, and when I went to complain about my situation and was planning on getting out of the contract for the reasons on how I have been treated above they wouldnt listen. I complained to BBB afterwards, thats when the owner called me and threatened me over the phone with an aggressive tone about cancelling my warranty, talked over me as he would NOT LISTEN TO HIS OWN CUSTOMER and hung up the phone because I would not back down. I tried explaining to him that the service tech that came to my place was unprofessionally late I WAITED A WHOLE 2 HOURS, only for him to show up and try to upsell me on more systems which was annoyingly irritating. After the service was finished they CHARGED ME TWICE for what they quoted all because they purposely missed my last service and my system needed more filters to be replaced. I had to basically PAY FOR THIER MISTAKES. Overall, the rudest, disrespectful and immoral company I have ever seen and had to interreact with. If you need a summary of anything I said: DO NOT TRUST THEM, DONT LET THEM INTO YOUR HOUSE AND DO NOT GET ANY OF THIER SYSTEMS.
