If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Drain King Plumbers was beyond disappointing -- it was disgusting. I called them because our shower pipes were clogged. They sent someone out and told me I didn't need to stay home, as the plumber could handle the job independently. Big mistake. I came home to an utter disaster. My brand new floors had marks, the bathroom looked like a war zone, and to top it all off -- they used my son's school uniform from the laundry basket to wipe up gunk from the floor. They even used one of my face towels to clean the mess. As a caregiver and mother, I had to clean up their filthy work late at night and try to salvage my son's uniform for school the next morning. When I called to complain, the owner, Jason, had the nerve to tell me, "At least it was the shower and not the toilet," and "At least the uniform didn't have fecal matter." That's their standard of professionalism? They threw me a $200 credit as if that would fix the sheer disrespect and unprofessional behavior. No integrity. No accountability. Michael is the sub contratted plumber who works for drain king,as a low income senior ,I found his fee very high,He would not lower one penny,I asked price of parts,would not reveal,price of labour ,same thing,a big secret, not how I liked to conduct business,I was in a vulnerable position as I had a bad leak.I allowed him to do the work,it looked fine,but he insisted the door be closed.??After he left I found my face towel hidden behind laundry hamper and it was soaking wet,plus things in one cupboard moved and shampoo missing,this was a $2000 job,why hide a towel,steal shampoo.Never use Drain King again read more

Kitchen sink was not draining properly, they responded within 6 hours to confirm an appointment; arrived and assessed the issue. got the drain moving and also replaced the faucet (was 15 years old) Found the tech to be knowledgeable, cleaned up and left the space tidy after. read more

Unprofessional plumber who left garbage around and water without cleaning. Too expensive for the service. Company won't stand by warrantee and does everything to get out of service after the fact even about what is and is not included after 1 day of work. Avoid at all costs. read more

Update; after posting this review they called me! They apologized and sent a more experienced plumber. They allowed us to use the money we paid towards the fix. We now have a working toilet! Benjamin was amazing. 21oct First post; After explaining our toilet situation and all the trouble shooting we'd already done; ( snaked the drain, adjusted water level and chain), the plumber sent insisted it was a clog that was causing our toilet not to fully flush. He used an auger to try to clear it and poured numerous buckets of water down (they went down with no issue). Stated there was no clog, charged us almost $300 and told us we should get a new toilet and quoted $1400. Our toilet is only 2 yrs old! could not explain what was different about the new toilet that would fix the issue. He did no other trouble shooting and left the toilet in worse working condition then before. I am fully unsatisfied and when I called to complain I was told a supervisor would call me back and no one has after 1 week and a couple times I tried to follow up. Do not use this company, they don't know what they are doing, will over charge you and provide terrible customer service! read more

Quick cash grab. Plumber arrived and the first thing he recommends is to replace the faucet without even looking at it. Is this why I need on-site visit and pay visit fee? Thank you for telling me I need to buy a new faucet or replace parts. I am sorry, but this doesn't make sense to me. Not sure if I can recommend the service. Desjean showed up to my mother's place today - called me immediately and said, 'What is going on here?' I said that I didn't know... that I'm in the car and that is was his job to ascertain where the leak was coming from. He raised his voice again and said, 'What is going on here?'. I said, I don't know. I'm not there and I'm not a plumber. He was so horrible and I asked him to leave. My mother is 88 and has dementia - she had a simple leak from her dishwasher. Another plumber, Alex (who was lovely), showed up later and found the problem in 30 seconds. Please request Alex or make sure it's not Desjean - Horrible. Should be renamed Wallet Drain Kings. A fellow named Samad came by and completely misdiagnosed the problem, despite my warning him twice I did not believe the drain was the issue causing my leak. I was charged 177 dollars to have a substance applied to my drain, which, surprise, did not fix my issue at all. The labor and materials involved didn't seem to justify the price either. It took several calls before the problem the company caused me was fixed, and the company refused to offer me a full refund. read more

plumbers are very good, but the price of parts are horrendously expensive! the plumber showed me a webpage on his phone it's $449.00 I checked the price on the manufacturers website it's only $83.12 you can even get it on amazon at $35. There were several areas that required attention because of leaks: the kitchen faucet, the tub faucet, and the sewer drain area. Jason was assigned to do the repairs. He made a thorough assessment, helped me to choose the best kitchen faucet that suit my needs and did all the necessary repairs in an efficient manor. Needed my kitchen faucet replaced because the base of the faucet had a crack in it. The plumber that came in the consultation, looked at it all and said they can replace the faucet BUT it meant they also had to replace both the cold/hot water valves as they were apparently really old. I inquired further - they showed me 3 different faucets on an iPad to choose from that they had available in the back of their truck - the faucets ranging from $600 to $800. And they offered the pair of new valves for $400. I reluctantly agreed to their service...I chose the cheapest faucet and chose to purchase the valves (total would be $1000). The plumber goes to his truck to retrieve the products and comes back saying the cheapest faucet was actually not in the truck so I had to choose between the two expensive ones! However, while he had gone to his truck, I looked on the internet to check average costs of faucets and was surprised to see that at Canadian Tire they sold BETTER faucets, and most of them were only about $100-$200!!! I asked him why his faucets were so expensive, all he could come up with was that they came with a 1 year warranty. I told him about my quick internet search and he tried to save face saying their faucets were top of the line (when in reality - they were average faucets). I told him, that I was going to decline his services, he then proceeded to try to charge me $90 for the consultation. I told him that the person who arranged the consultation from Drain King, said that my consultation was FREE if I could proved free parking, WHICH I DID. Eventually, he walked away with no money. Drain King tried tried to drain my wallet. I highly do not recommend. read more

The company seems very disorganized. The receptionist whom I assume is new, gave me conflicting information about a fee of $90... which was a trip fee? She said that the contractor had trouble finding parking... which is not true. We live in a big house and we have plenty of parking in front. Also the receptionist said she will send us a bill that same day even though no work was done... and we never received anything. She must have confused us with someone else? We never received a bill and we are still left confused... Then we called and asked again and she said it was an estimate? Then we got confused because of what was said earlier. Anyhow, someone should fire that receptionist because she does not know what she is doing and giving conflicting information confuses a potential customer. read more
