Always a great experience for my pup - Zoe and her 6 or so week grooming routine! She's been going…read morehere for more than a year now and she's a 5.5 lb yorkie that's 12 years old but I always do a puppy cut on her to keep her hair clean and short due to various skin allergies/sensitivity. They continue to do an amazing job and are efficient. Decent/average pricing too at $45 for her full groom. I drop her off first thing in the mornings around 730 and she's usually ready by 930-11 depending on the # of grooming appts they have. They always are super friendly and helpful and extremely appreciative of gratuity for the groomer. However they book up fast!! So I highly recommend you book 2-3 appts out at a time. I would say that's the only downside if you forget - I've had to wait almost 3 months for Zoe to be seen and her hair grows fast so ideally she needs a cut every 4-6 weeks. Ideal location right on the outskirts of downtown going down smith/battleground split. I've never boarded my dog there but have heard good things and the pups running around seem to love it.

The rest of the staff there is wonderful but in my opinion the business needs new owners or needs to reevaluate how to properly run a business.

I am writing to add critical details to my previous concerns regarding the treatment my dog and I…read morereceived at your facility, specifically under Kristen's supervision. After bringing my dog home, I was awakened in the middle of the night to find him lethargic, coughing, and refusing both food and water. These symptoms were frightening and heartbreaking to witness. It was only afterward that Kristen admitted other dogs at the lodge had kennel cough. She also stated that pet parents do not have to be notified of an outbreak. This is unacceptable. I referenced COVID‑19 during our conversation to highlight how dangerous airborne illnesses can be, especially when transparency is withheld. While kennel cough is not the same as COVID, it can still be deadly, and responsible facilities should treat any outbreak with seriousness and urgency. I also made clear that I understand how vaccines work--both in humans and animals. Kennel cough vaccines, like human vaccines, vary in strain coverage and are designed to reduce severity, not guarantee immunity. This makes communication even more essential. Pet parents deserve to know when their animals have been exposed to contagious illnesses. Instead of providing clarity, Kristen continued to dismiss my concerns. She failed to explain why my dog was isolated, whether he was separated due to possible kennel cough or pack behavior, and why staff were pushing him off another dog. Her tone remained condescending, and she again minimized my educational background by telling me to "put that aside" because it "wasn't important now." When I calmly stated that her tone felt rude, she accused me of being rude. I reiterated that my tone had no inflection of disrespect. I requested to speak with someone else, and she claimed she was "at the top" and would send an email with further information. She never did. Instead, she hung up on me. My dog's health was compromised, and I was denied basic information, respect, and transparency. This is not only unprofessional--it is dangerous. I expect a full explanation of the kennel cough outbreak, your notification policies, and the specific circumstances surrounding my dog's isolation and treatment. I also expect a review of Kristen's conduct and communication practices. I look forward to your prompt and thorough response. Sincerely, Lakisha
