As bad as a breakdown is when pulling a fifth wheel, Consolidated Towing made it a bit bright. When calling, the lady in the office (sorry I don't recall your name) was outstanding. She was able to understand our needs and walk us through sharing our location. (We had a coolant leak in our pickup about 10 miles west of Sisters.) She found a driver that could be there in 3-4 hours. In about two hours, she called to say the driver was on his way and would be there in about an hour. Russell arrived as expected, was very friendly, conscientious, and thorough. Kept us informed about the steps he was taking and delivered us and our pickup and fifth wheel to the dealership. He even dropped us off to pick up our rental vehicle. They made an unfortunate situation as positive as they could! Thank you both! read more

I went to consolidated towing because I had my car towed and the service was absolutely terrible. I had simply asked a question and I was treated with nothing but disrespect. Nice guy. Took my phone call last night about 11:30pm. I was stuck in Brothers (approx 46 miles out) in 20 degree weather he couldn't find and staff that wanted to make the trip for a gas run. AAA & Consolidated to the rescue. My vehicle wouldn't start & I wasn't sure if it was the alternator, the battery, or the starter. My explanation of the sounds my vehicle was producing had me cracking myself & the AAA gal up - totally reminiscent of "Car Talk" hilarity... ah, man, I miss those guys. Consolidated Towing arrived within the hour, the employee was friendly & professional. He ran diagnostics, shared the results with me & diagnosed the problem. It was the battery & there was no saving it. I was quoted a price with AAA discount, I made some calls, it was a good/dependable battery at a fair price, so I purchased the battery from Consolidated & had them install it. Second time in a few months I've had to call for a jump due to my child playing with dome lights and me not noticing before the car sat for a couple days. Just want a bumper to bumper pull. To take a 40ft travel trailer 25 miles (3/4 of that is on Hwy 97.) I was quoted $400 a hour and it would take "several hours." I would understand of it was class C tow but this is price gouging. read more

I worked with Toyota Care for my 2019 4Runner to get towed to the dealer. They completely dropped the ball on setting up the appointment for this morning and told me I would have to wait another hour and a half for someone to show up. Within MINUTES I got a call from an amazing lady who told me their drivers name and that he was on the way now. I am so impressed with their service and will now be able to make it on time to work today! Edited to add - the technician I had was William and he explained features about my vehicle that Kendall Toyota never bothered to show me when I purchased the vehicle in Nov 2019. He also taught me the best way to get a vehicle rolling should I be stranded someday in the future alone. Our saviors! Our RV blew its transmission up on a Forest Service road and they got up there and got us out of there. They were incredibly professional and caring throughout the whole ordeal. Jennifer worked with me to to figure out our best options and called back multiple times with updates or questions to help find the best solution for our difficult situation. I was traveling up to Mount Bachelor and my car suddenly died. I called AAA and they notified CONSOLIDATED TOWING and CONSOLIDATED TOWING called me within a few minutes. I was having a total meltdown with high anxiety and the receptionist at CONSOLIDATED TOWING assured me that they would have somebody out right away. A driver by the name of PAUL arrived shortly after my phone call and he was able to get my anxiety settled down. As soon as he jumped out of his truck I knew that he was going to take care of this crisis. He had the car hooked up almost immediately and towed it to Bend Honda in Bend Oregon. PAUL was professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. If anyone needs to have their car towed I would highly recommend CONSOLIDATED TOWINGin Bend Oregon! This company is what customer service is all about!! My husband's motorcycle broke down on Labor Day weekend, Sunday, in the middle of the interstate, with no company that would be open to fix it. Firle the driver, picked my husband up, along with his bike, called around for options, took him to the airport to rent a car to drive home, 8 hours to Spokane, Washington. He also recommended the only company to work on his bike, MTECH in Bend, OR and will have it towed to them on Tuesday morning after the Labor day weekend. He did not have to do any of this, he could of gotten the bike, dumped him off at the hotel with no way to get around and forgot about it. This is a late review. I called Consolidated Towing sometime in August for a quote to have my '91 dodge Pickup towed to La Grande. It was a very fair quote . Byron came and got it at our ranch east of Bend and when the time was right he delivered it to La Grande at a body shop. He let me know it was delivered and the body shop let me know how nice Byron was. It was ALL GOOD and I appreciated everyone's help with getting it there as I wasn't sure it would make it there on its own. I experienced a less than satisfactory tow while helping an elderly couple. This one experience could have been prevented if the employee guidelines stated to make people feel welcomed and to remember their job is customer service. My advice is to work on this. Guys really dropped the ball on this one, damaged my truck and would not offer to pay for damages that was clearly their fault. Told me to turn it into my own insurance company. Long story short, I got myself in trouble with the Jeep about 500 yards down a closed forest road. Front wheels fell through the snowpack into a mud slurry from draining snowmelt and I wasn't going anywhere. After digging for a couple hours and having no luck, I called around and these guys were the only ones who were not only willing to come out but they were the only ones with a capable rig and confidence of success. Out they came with their Snowcat, winched me out of my mess and had me on the road again. Great experience with these guys just now. Crystal was very kind and helpful in the phone. Nathan was our tech and he picked me up and took me toy car that had blow tire. Super nice guy and very professional. Had my car tire changed In no time and told me he'd hang back five minutes or so so I could get on the road and make sure all was OK, and if I had any issue to just pull over and he'd be right there. Me and my grieving friends went back to the tow yard to see our car after calling ahead to make sure it was okay with the yard. We weren't sure if we'd be able to see it since our friend literally died in the car. The guy over the phone said it would be fine so we went on in. In a morbid kind of way it would help make the loss real since it was so confusing and sudden. When we showed up we asked if we could be taken to it and the owner sudden came out and started yelling at us that we were sick in some way to ask to see it and started being verbally hostile. He brought some of us to tears and it was just too soon for that. He was unbelievably inconsiderate and rude. I can understand were he's coming from but he could've been much more professional. We even got misinformed over the phone unless we should've been allowed in. I don't think I can ever forgive him for how mean he was. read more

Was trying to charge me almost $600 to come pick me up 70 miles outside of Bend on Hwy20 east. After getting denied by all the tow trucks in Bend, Larkin towing out of BURNS came ALL THE WAY out and dropped me off in Bend at 4:30am. All for $475....and that is from Burns. It was right after the eclipse and trying to get a tow via AAA was difficult.
