First off, they carry a great selection of some of my favourite brands including Matt & Nat, Free People, Michael Kors, and Scotch & Soda. Everything is fashion-forward and current. Every time I'm looking for something new to wear, this is my first stop. The store is always well organized and tidy. I've never had an issue finding my size in something new, though there have been a couple times that I've waited too long to commit to something and regretted it afterwards! The staff here are all helpful and friendly. Even during the busy Christmas season, I was always able to get help when I needed it. I also never feel pressed into buying (but usually end up doing it anyway!)

If you are looking for cowboy boots to wear at the next night out at the Horseshoe or Cameron, this is the place to buy them. So many varieties and colour accents everywhere. All the cool cowgirls must shop here, and I did notice the horse handler at the nearby stables had some of these gorgeous boots. The clothes selection is large with every type of accessories from belt buckles to cowboy hats and authentic western jeans. There is a maze of a hallway that leads away from the clothes into the tack section with so many horse bits, the sight is dizzying and lots of fun to look at. On Friday July, 29, 2022, @ 8:33, while waiting in a shady part of the parking lot for Marshall's to open, I was asked to leave by security. I told him I was waiting for the mall to open and was accused of loitering which is something only vagrants do. I then proceeded to inform the security that I lived nearby and got the response, 'I don't think so.' it was demeaning and insulting. I have tried to shake it off for hours now (it is 11:01 now) but can't' without leaving a review to this effect. If I was waiting in a car would I have been asked to leave ? I don't think so. As a senior I enjoy walking and keeping mobile and intend to keep mobile for as long as I can. This was a direct judgement upon my intentions for being at the mall. Yes, I had my supplies with me in a large travel bag but I certainly do not look like a vagrant. I feel disgusting and I did leave the mall because truly anything that's there you can easily get elsewhere. It's a sad thing to see such a once wonderfully welcoming mall become a place of suspicion. Moral of the story : if you enjoy walking and taking in the sites of the neighborhood, don't take a break in the private property of Aberdeen Mall to wait for it to open or you WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.

However, the thing this location really excels in is customer service. The staff here are great at identifying the difference between browsing and hopelessly lost. Today I was looking for supplies for a craft that took me all over the store and I had not one, not two, but three different staff members help me find what I needed. Seriously impressed. The same goes for checkout: the staff are always helpful with coupons and suggestions. I've never had anything but great service here. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5? Mostly corporate issues that I understand this location can't change. Michaels is terrible for making you feel ripped off with their constant coupons. Obviously everything is incredibly marked up. NEVER go there without a coupon. They almost always have one for at least 40% off a single item. Sometimes they even have ones that cover your whole transaction.
