Most welcome for affordable gas and excellent roadtrip snacks! Staff was welcoming.
Lynnann W.

Clean, competitive pricing, plenty of pumps. Their convenience store is clean, staff welcoming/helpful and plenty of road-trip snacks/forgotten sundries.

Is modern pumps they take the swipe

But what a nice little gas station and convenience store. Wide entrances from Santa Rosa make it easy to get in-and-out out which is good because there can be a lot of traffic. The place is clean they even mop the concrete around the cars to help make everything just snicker snack. The convenience store is well stocked and the staff was extremely polite I was pleased. But all in all it's just another gas station it's really hard to write massive reviews about gas stations when all you do is come in pump it up and leave thanks anyway

I bought gas here--DID YOU?!
Karina R.

I consistently stop here to fill up with gas while in Slo because of the cheap gas prices compared to the 5 cities. It is normally the cheapest gas in the area. Today, I noticed it was a little too high in comparison with some other stations, which is why I'm only giving it 4 stars. Convenient spot and they give the same discount to debit card purchases as paying cash.

What a funky little place - super original and definitely SLOcal!…read more Needed some sandwiches for a road trip, was in the area and thought I'd give the Sidewalk Market a try. I'm so glad I did! The exterior is definitely unassuming to say the least, I mean it is a functioning liquor store next to a public park. Once inside, you'll see everything you'd see in a 7/11, but with a much more quality selection of liquor. If I'm looking for a bottle of high-quality bourbon or whiskey, I'll certainly come here next time. But I scooted past that vast selection, because 1) it was lunchtime and 2) I was looking for food. =) I ordered a Mediterranean wrap and a Gyro pita from the little counter in the middle of the shop. I chatted a little with the chef, who was super sweet and helpful to pack my order with sauces on the side so nothing would get soggy before we ate it. Within a few minutes, everything was packed and ready, I paid with credit card and left for our road trip adventure. When we opened the lunch pack, we were greeted by amazing smells and great tastes! Especially the Mediterranean wrap was delicious! It's all a little pricey at $11 for a sandwich, but they're huge and so tasty, that you should skip any of the cheap offers from Subway and Co. to eat here! It's unique, local and delicious!

You may just think of this as a liquor store, but it's actually quite a bit more…read more This place is a hidden gem of some of the best craft beer for sale anywhere on the Central Coast. Seriously! From racks and racks of beers from Anchor, Founders, Dogfish Head, Stone, Oskar Blues, and tons more. They have specialty bottles of barrel aged, anniversary beers, hard to find brands too. They have a large wall of refrigerators for a load of cold beer too. But I'm not kidding you'll come in here, walk to the back and just feel blown away that you didn't know this selection existed. In addition to the beer, they have a deli where you can order everything from sandwiches and gyros to burritos and schwarma. Serious! The sandwich I had from here was okay, not amazing. I'd still come back to try the gyro though. Of course they have chips and drinks and lots of liquor too. Every time I've ever come in the cashiers have been super cool, laid back and really friendly. Just stop by and wander around, you'll find something you didn't know you want for sure.

Update for 2026: The store's muzak has not improved, only…read moreseems to have gotten louder and still unintelligible. Not only are the songs bad, the speaker channel settings are all messed up. Why not just turn it off? Today, I witnessed a riding dog in a shopping cart for the first time in this store. The employees didn't seem to mind. This is a red flag for the health department. Otherwise, the store is clean and employees helpful and friendly.

Nothing like spending $150 on groceries to be treated like a thief in the self checkout…read more We were using a large canvas bag to put the majority of the groceries in, it was pretty full so my daughter was holding the straps of the bag so it stayed up. Doing that set off the flashing light and the self-checkout clerk came over irritated and said we were moving the bag too much. So we adjusted and started a new bag but the light went off again, not sure what we did wrong there but she played back the video to make sure we didn't take anything than stood behind us the rest of the time which was pretty uncomfortable. I looked at her and she made a snide comment about how we needed extra help - she wasn't helping, just rolling her eyes and watching that we weren't stealing This is my daughter's neighborhood store but neither one of us will be returning. And yes we know how to operate a self-checkout but should be able to touch the bag we're using without the whole system repeatedly stopping.

First let me start off by saying that I enjoy a good beer. I don't particularly care for being tied…read moredown to twelve or even six of the same beverages. I like to experiment and try new things. Sandys never let's me down. They have a great selection of IPAs from all kinds of breweries. They also are one of the few places that consistently carries Lagunitas Twelfth of Nevers. The beer only comes in a 12 pack of cans and is more expensive than most bottled 12 packs but it's a great beer. It definitely has its place. Sam is always friendly and smiling. I don't know his brothers name or sisters name because they got jokes but they are fun. This place works well for me because I can try something new and still get something I know is a surefire like for me. There is no more deli here but they keep the sign up because it's old school and keeps with tradition of being around for a long time. I respect that. Having a go to liquor store that is well stocked and well staffed is a nice thing. If your looking for something they don't have then just ask. Most beers are just a special order away. Drink on fellow yelpers. Sandys has your back.

People might buy at those exorbitant levels but I don't think so because I see those dusty bottles in other liquor stores. Guy behind the register was nice and they have a big selection of everything.
