Been coming to this station for almost 15 years. Love the gas station and the car wash, but Scott is a complete prick. I live right down the 41, less than a mile away. Scott pulled a page right out of the ultimate Karen playbook and called the cops on me for taking too long......in the car wash line......while there were cars in both sides of the car wash. Can't make this stuff up. There are buckets available to wash windows and wheels while waiting for a free bay, which is exactly what I was doing when he approached me. I ignored him at first. I did my best to keep ignoring him, as I thought I was being punked. When I told him to leave me alone, he told me I was rude and that I need to leave and told me he would refund my money, after I had already prepped my truck for the car wash. Then he said he was calling the cops. This all occurred in the 3-5 minutes I was waiting for an open car wash bay. I told him I'd be happy to wait for them to explain why their time was being wasted, which I did. I was literally there a whole 3 minutes before he came out flexing his power and said I was rude, took pictures of me, my vehicle and my license plates, told police I was on something and that I was irate. AT THE CAR WASH!Apparently he couldn't comprehend why I was upset that I was being told to hurry up and being called rude while there were literally cars in the car wash bays I was waiting for. Then when the cops showed up as he requested, (3 patrol cars responded quickly, great response time APD!) Ol Scott couldn't be bothered to come outside of his office and argue his case. The little nerd came out to the car wash to flex his power, and when he crossed the line into harassing me, he got a taste of his own medicine and tucked tail into his office. Scott's father in law, the actual owner, all but said this is a common occurrence. I was shocked If you stop here, make sure you thank Scott for saving the world, one car wash at a time! His ego will appreciate it. He clearly needs excitement in his life, and based on the comments, it seems like a few other locals had no problem giving it to him as requested. read more

I just wanted to thank 2 gentlemen who helped me out earlier today when I pulled in with a flat tire. They jumped in to see if they could help and when we discovered that my lug wrench was not the correct size they hunted down one that would fit. They jacked up my car, mounted my spare and sent me on my way. I have been coming to your station for the past year when I moved to town, as every time I come I am greeted with a hello. 99% of gas stations are just that. The 76 gas station, located just off the 101 freeway at the Morro Road/Highway 41 exit, has fair prices on gasoline - they are not the lowest or the highest in the area. It is one of the few stations in the area that sell ethanol for Flex-Fuel vehicles. This station also offers an efficient car wash with two wash bays. It is well maintained and kept clean by the employees. Prior to entering each wash bay, they provide buckets of soapy water with squeegees & brushes for your wheels and/or glass of your vehicle. If you use the bay on the right side as you're facing the wash entrance(s), it tends to have a somewhat longer dryer time than is indicated on the timer. There are two ways to save on a car wash at this location. At the time of purchasing fuel, one has the option of buying a wash at a discounted price. One may also ask an attendant/cashier for a loyalty card. After the purchase of eight washes, one receives one $8 wash (Super Works) for free. The gas station convenience store is always well stocked, and the employees very friendly. read more

Great little rest stop in Atascadero. Stopped here en route to Santa Barbara from Fresno. We found this location because it has E95 but I'd stop here again regardless. They have about 6 pumps and a drive thru car wash. Inside is clean and tidy, the restrooms were sparkling. The attendants were super friendly too. Highly recommended as a stopping point on the road or if you find yourself nearby. read more

Alina the cashier provided what I would call the definition of customer service. When I walked in the door she welcomed me and made me feel like I was home. Her positive attitude and bright smile is something that has been lost in this world today. If I didn't know any better I might believe she owned the gas station and was training her employees how to greet customers. Many years ago, gas stations were called Service Stations where employees pumped the gas, cleaned the windows, and checked the oil level. My review focuses on their employees especially one in particular, a young lady named Topanga. I go there frequently to fill my propane tanks especially during the frigid winter months when the temperatures here drop to a freezing level. I have a herniated disc that puts pressure on a nerve in my spine that causes constant pain and makes it difficult for me to even walk. Topanga noticed this and told me that she would fill the tank, put it in the car for me, and then take the paper with the amount owed to the cashier inside with my credit card, and then bring it back to me. Keep in mind that I am 6'3", used to play football in college, but am now 80 years old and not as strong as I used to be. A short time ago, when I had a large propane tank that I can no longer lift, she filled it for me and, despite her weighing about 125 pounds, unbelievably lifted the heavy filled propane tank into my car, secured it for me. Topanga is an employee that makes this gas station a Service Station and I'm grateful that she is so helpful. I nominate her for Employee of the Month. read more

Solid gas station, convenience store and car wash. It's a 3 in 1 hit! Lots of gas pumps, reasonable gas prices too. Squeegees are always available with fresh water. The car wash does a good job at getting cars clean, and is a value when you fill up with gas as well. Inside store is clean, well stocked with lots of options. July 22, 2020- THIS IS A WARNING! Today I put my bank card in the pump. The pump wouldn't turn on so I closed the pump. I went in and told them their pump wasn't working and then purchased $20 gas inside and got a receipt. I went out and pumped the $20. I decided to check my online banking, balance, before I left. It showed an additional charge of $52.14 It also showed a pending refund. I went in and addressed them about this fraudulent charge. Of course they deny everything. I went directly to the bank to confirm this additional charge of $52.14. The bank confirmed it, and gave me a printout of my statement. I took the bank statement back to 76 and talked to the owner, and several employees directly involved.They still deny everything, even with the banks statement! This identical method of fraud happened to me a couple years ago at AM/PM, where they had charged me for two additional charges, not just the one for my gas. I went the to bank then and they confirmed it was fraud. So, here I am again with this identical fraudulent activity committed by the Morro Rd 76 Station. I have a receipt, and bank statement as proof. If you run a debit or bank card and your pump won't turn on, or won't run the 'amount' numbers back to $000.00 before you start to pump, don't run your card through again. If it just reads $.0 remember what I told you. This is what happens when you get fraudulent charges from a gas station. Check your bank statements. This is fraud! They won't be getting my business anymore!! read more

I've been coming long enough that everybody recognizes me it's very friendly as I grab a cold one and get my car washed fill her with gas and Mosey on down the road. The usual selection of goodies but for me nice people hey and every 10th Car Wash is free I like that. A lot. Anyway what more can I say I like the place read more

I always come here to pump gas after a long day of work and most times i have been here, service has always been great. Unfortunately today, the service was horrible. Out of all the times I've been here, it's the first time the service was crap. I went in today to pump diesel, grabbed a few beverages for the road. And I walked up to the register to check out. And the gentlemen with glasses and a colorful arm sleeve tattoo came at me rude. I just wanted to pay, pump and get home. I didn't do any thing wrong, or said anything to provoke him. I even said hi. And the guy raised his voice with an attitude when I said the total. I was just making sure to myself so I didn't give extra amount. All that extra rudeness was unnecessary. And I come here multiple times a week, he has helped me at the register before. Don't know why today the guy wanted to be a dickhead. read more
