Car wash sucks and doesn't clean car well or rinse well. Never any towels to dry care off and ALWAYS out of paper towels to clean your windshield! I'm going to cancel my express wash on both vehicles! F this place! read more

If you aren't paying in cash for your gas purchases, DO NOT go to this Chevron. If you are paying in cash, pay special attention to whether or not you are getting the advertised price per gallon at the end of your fill up. BUYER BEWARE! Back in March, I stopped there to put gas in my motorcycle on the way out to camp for a few days with friends in Morro Bay. My bike only took about 2 gallons but the gas station charged my account with a 100 dollar hold (which used to be a lot more common). Presumably, the difference would have been refunded to my account within a couple of days, however after three weeks I noticed that, not only did they not refund the difference, but they broke it out into two separate transactions and charged me almost $93 for gas I never acquired. I've since filed claims with my bank, who has discovered other inconsistencies in the charges. This gas station used to be my typical refuelling stop but they will never get my business again. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I live around the corner from this Chevron, my boyfriend fills up regularly if not almost every day via his work truck and his companies vehicles. So they earn a great deal of our business. We left the house today to head down south and noticed my tire pressure light was on, we of course go to Chevron to put air in it. When my boyfriend went inside to ask for the air to be turned on, the guy at the register said 'we only turn it on if people get gas'. First of all by law, air and water are FREE. You may choose to ask customers to purchase gas first but it is NOT required of them. When my boyfriend stated that he fills up regularly, the guy just stood there and said nothing. A little respect goes a long way. We will not be filling up our vehicles or company vehicles @ this Chevron anymore. read more

I wish I could give this store 0 stars. Most of their product does not have price tags, and those that do are not honored by the sales clerk. i was there last night and tried to buy a beer that was advertised in the store at $1.59 but at the register the clerk insisted it was $1.79. He would not budge. this happens all the time at this store. Also, their gas prices are 40-50 cents higher than most stations in town. And, I don't know what some of the reviewers for this store have been smoking, but this place DOES NOT HAVE A CAR WASH! And if they did - it would be a rip-off! In short -if it weren't for unsuspecting tourists from the Valley, this place would have long since gone the way of its former compatriot Shell station across the street -GONE!! This is the most frustrating place I have ever been! We are local and come here weekly with multiple cars but we will not be coming back! The car wash breaks all the time and the only person who is allowed to give a refund is the manager who only works mornings. I love to be told "just come back later". I don't want to come back later! I want a refund now. The car wash breaks down all the time so they should be aware of the situation. What if I was traveling through and couldn't come back later to get my $8??? It is ridiculous! My family spends hundreds of dollars here monthly... But not anymore.... Very bad business. read more

I drive to San Luis Obispo daily for my business. I drive to Morro Bay three times a week for my daughters school. I use to come to this gas station at least once a week. I have bought over 100 car washes from this Chevron over the last couple years. I have forgotten the receipt with the code on it in the machine a total of three times. The first time it happened the manager gave me a new code after looking it up on my credit card. It was like pulling teeth to get my Merlot(the cheapest) car wash that I had paid for back to me. Unfortunately over the holiday season I did it two more times!!! At first I just took it as a loss. But after thinking about it and knowing what I would do as a business owner and considering how often I come in... I'd go back in to speak to the owner rather than the manager. With another almost fight I finally got to give my number so the owner could call me. That was over a week ago. I went back in this morning and the manager(Jesus) was very nice for a change. WOW! Then I speak to the owner and realized that the only reason Jesus acts like a jerk in the first place is because of how the owner must treat him! The owner is so rude. He cut me off many times. He said he looked up my credit card to see how many car washes I had purchased and after an hour of searching could not find any. So not only was he rude but he was also calling me a lier. The sad thing is I am not a lier and all the car washes I have purchased are on my one and only card I use to pay for gas... so he should have been able to look them up no problem. After a very long and horrible conversation he said he'd give me one of the two car washes and he'd even give me the best wash they offer. At this point I was so frustrated that he wouldn't offer a regular loyal customer the two washes I had PAID for that I told him I didn't want a more expensive wash I just wanted the two "Merlots" I had paid for. He said bring in your bank statement and I will then give you the second. So finally he was offering me what I had paid for. So to confirm I asked "you'll give me the one today and when I come back with my bank statement that will show the many many times I've come in and paid for 15 gallon fill up plus the $6 car wash you will give me the other?" I don't feel like I should have to of course but I was willing just so I could put him in his place and show him how much money I do give his business. Then he starts yelling don't put words in my mouth and some other nonsense. At this point I hang up the phone, give the phone back to Jesus and tell him I will never be going to this Chevron again. THEY HAVE FOREVER LOST MY BUSINESS AND THE BUSINESS OF ALL OF MY LOVED ONES. After the entire conversation another customer came up to me at my car while I was taking the gas pump out of my car and expressed how shocked he was to hear the conversation. (I had been talking with the owner on Jesus's cell and the owner was on speakerphone) He said from what he could hear I handled it well and that he was shocked the owner wouldn't willingly offer the car washes. He said he would never be coming back as well. I will say this. Carlos one of the employees that works there has only been kind and I will miss seeing and talking with him on the regular. I give Carlos five stars and the station 0!!!! One more thing... in 2011 they may have put soap in the squeegee tank but they don't do it anymore so Charley's review doesn't mean a thing anymore!! read more

I had a horrible experience with this business. I pre-soaked my vehicle with the equipment they have on site in anticipation of going through their car wash. The car wash malfunctioned, leaving my vehicle covered in drying soap. Neither attendant could assist and kept insisting the wash did not work because I had paid with a debit card. After finally realizing the machine itself was not working, they refused to refund my money, telling me I could come back later for another car wash. I left the station about 1/2 hour later, dried soap scum stuck to my entire vehicle. I called the business the next day to speak with a manager. His response was basically, "What do you want me to do about it?" I left a message for the owners who never returned my call. I made a complaint with Chevron corporate who referred me back to the business. This business made no attempt to make things right. It was clear that customer service is not on their agenda. read more
