My furnace went out during the coldest day of the year (of course) and I needed a new inducer assembly before my house became an ice cube. Conrey had one in stock ready to go. They even talked me through over the phone before I left to make sure they had the correct model. Truly an unparalleled inventory. Thanks for saving my bacon, guys! read more

This place is fantastic! They offer great advice and have a huge inventory of parts. They are very patient with DIYers and want to save you big dollars that the HVAC guys will nail you with! read more

I have a vintage box fan that I really enjoy. Recently it started chattering and making noise while in operation. Conrey came up on my searches as a place that could/would actually work on a 60+ year old box fan. Not only could they work on it. They repaired it into 100% operation for $45. If you are looking for a service on electric motors, then you should take a good look at Conrey Electric. read more

Thank you Conrey Electric! Best service I've ever experienced. My dust collector went out, and after a bit of investigation I realized that I needed new capacitors for the motor. After checking Amazon I realized that I can't trust the quality they sell and decided to look locally and came across this place. I walked in and got exactly what I needed within minutes, high quality capacitors for the same price as Amazon. Highly recommend Conrey Electric and will definitely come back for any motor related issues. read more

No one in town wanted to touch my older Baldor treadmill motor, but Scott at Conrey told me to swing by. He gave it a thorough diagnosis while I waited, then gave me the good news - they could fix it in a day or two. A few treadmill repair shops wanted anywhere from $350 to $650 and 2 weeks to do the repair (obviously outsourced) and Conrey did it for a fraction of the cost and in 36 hours. As for the motor, it's far quieter than I expected. Awesome. read more

These guys have saved my a$$ a few times now. Working on furnace motors and could find a replacement, took the whole motor assembly down and they repaired them right there for a great price I will be returning to their store. read more

I had two bathroom exhaust fans that were failing. These were the original fan/motor assembly from 1970 (when the house was built). The motors were manufactured by Ventrola Manufacturing (Chicago), who have long since gone out-of-business. See attached photo. Conrey replaced the motors in both assemblies and re-attached the original fan and mounting bracket. Now they work like new. I'm amazed they would have drop-in motors for these 50 year-old assemblies. If I couldn't get the motors replaced, I would be looking at paying someone to replace the entire metal box (in the attic) that houses the complete motor/fan assembly (which would cost FAR more than replacing just the motors - and then re-installing). Their store was plenty busy - with people coming in and out with all sorts of motors. But they have plenty of people at the counter, I had no wait at all. They also replaced the motors while I waited (about 25 minutes). There's a reason they have so many positive Yelp reviews. read more

My brother is a contractor from Seattle area. We met in PD for the weekend. He brought along an ancient bathroom fan that needed to be resourced. Jay Garrett was knowledgeable and quick. He gutted and successfully fixed the fan for a very reasonable price. This fix saved me having to tear out the tile and cut a different size opening for a new fan. Speaking of new fan... my brother is now one... of this business! Thx Jay! Side note: the bathroom is clean... lol! read more

Jared saved me time and money. I brought my furnace blower motor in after talking to him on the phone. After he saw my motor he recommended a less expensive motor than the initial one that would work just at well. He then wrote out for me how the old wiring corresponds to the wiring on the new motor and to the control board. Definitely saved me time. Conrey was also the only one to carry a motor for my Trane furnace. read more

This is the place to go for all your electric motor needs!!! They easily replaced my furnace air blend motor and it was circa 1993! And some years ago they helped me replace the main blower motor. And as a bonus they are locally owned, and nowadays a rare find .Anyway, great place and excellent customer service- big thanks to Tom and Jay!! read more

My brother bought an old house recently along with a 50-year-old bathroom fan--the squirrel cage type with the two-prong plug that isn't made anymore. On the advice of A-Boy (another fine business) I took the assembly to Conrey Electric. I walk in and the guy at the front desk sees what I'm carrying. He twists in place to grab a preassembled motor and cage fan from the wall, just hanging there ready to go. I didn't even have to ask for the item--he was just lurking there, waiting to hand it to me. Surreal. I told him that this little episode would make it to Yelp, for sure. He was pleased. Seriously. If you have an electric motor of any type that requires replacement, get thee to Conrey on the double. They will help you out in ways that you can't even begin to comprehend. read more

I've search all over the internet for my bathroom fan motor. The gentleman that helped me knew exactly what I needed. He was even nice enough to swap out my motor from it's original casing that I brought in. They were definitely busy when I came in, but I was still treated like a customer and not just another number. Super knowledgeable people. I'm posting this review kinda late from when I visited the store, but they really stand out in my mind. read more

My husband went in to see if they could fix the motor of our pellet stove blower. Side note they don't make this motor anymore. They were able to tell him it was the bearings and fixed it on the spot. Took about 15min. This place saved us over $500. Thank you very much. If your motor on your pellet stove blower goes out, take it to this place before you go out and spend more money then you might need to. read more

These guys are awesome, after talking with them on the phone they encrouaged me to come in to make sure I got the right unit for my furnace. I live in Forest Grove, so I ripped the blower motor out and headed the 40 miles east to the store. Jay was great. He had the right part and after talking me through the wiring and then seeing my aprehension about what needed to be done, he asked if I could wait a couple minutes and he swapped out the motors and did the re-wiring for me. You just don't see customer service like this any more. Highly recommend going to these guys. read more

Awesome service and prices. Needed to fix a burned out kitchen exhaust fan (impossible to find a replacement) and was getting very stressed out at how few options were available. These folks were recommended by another electrical company who only worked on industrial equipment. Called them and super friendly and helpful. Went to their shop and 10 minutes and $39 later they had replaced the motor with a new one. So wonderful that we have firms that survive on a non-disposable ethic. Thanks so much to these folks read more

It's hard to believe in today's world there's still a business left that believes in giving knowledgeable professional honest service. I've had to use them twice now & both times I was so impressed on how they want to help you, this last time Dec 26th my air compressor in my automotive shop went out the motor just wouldn't kick on I called them & talked to Tom & sent him pictures of it he called me right back & said they did have it in stock & it was over $400. But told me to bring the old motor over & they would check it & see if it could be fixed, I took the motor over & Tom immediately took it back to a test bench & found a bad booster coil on it which they had a new one he replaced it & ran the motor through a Test & also tested other parts of it, I went there expecting to pay well over $400 & was given a bill for $25. & back in business in a couple hours. They could have easily sold me a new motor but Tom took the time to test it & fix it very rare in today's world when everyone's motto is sell sell sell, thank you Tom & Conrey Electric for all your help & integrity May God Bless You All Munson's Independent Honda read more

The fan in my bathroom was making an odd noise. Got quotes from electricians for hundreds of dollars. Jay at Conrey Electric walked me through taking it apart. I brought in the mount with the motor and fan, and he replaced the motor and sand blasted the rust for under $50! I loved reading the funny jokes posted at the counter while I (briefly) waited. read more

Great place to buy parts. Employee are very patient and friendly. They explain very detail and go through each steps.

Great experience. Needed a replacement motor for an HVAC blower. Didn't have the necessary tools to remove the motor so I brought in the whole blower. They took care of removing the motor and getting it set up properly. Saved me extra bucks on one-time-only tools as well as many hours of extra effort. If you have a motor problem don't hesitate to drop by and they will help you out. read more

Pure excellence! I needed to replace the original kitchen exhaust motor in my house and after Googling the model number, came to the conclusion it was (of course) a very obscure item to track down. Several phone calls to various big name motor manufacturers and distributors left me with mixed results. I stumbled across Conrey after seeing they were an authorized Fanco dealer. Looking to cross-reference previous information I received, I gave them a call. Jay answered the phone and was extremely helpful and enthusiastic. The gist of the conversation was, "No big deal. Done this a thousand times. Bring it on in". The next day I stopped by and was promptly greeted by DJ. I showed him what I had and he went to the back to look for a replacement. Literally 30 seconds later he emerged with a shiny new motor. He invited me over to the work bench and began transferring over my original mount and propeller to the new motor without me even asking. Once assembled, he tested the balance of the blades and wouldn't stop tinkering until it ran as smoothly as possible. While I was there I even purchased a new compatible wall mounted motor speed controller. This whole experience lasted less than 30 minutes and proved all my previous Google research and heartache to be futile. I only wish I had stumbled upon them sooner! Will definitely use again and I highly recommend giving these guys a call! read more

My Lennox heater went out this weekend. I emailed two of their contact from their website (on a Sunday). Within an hour I had a response and an offer to meet me at the store for a small after hours fee. These guys are great. I went into the Lennox Parts store in Clackamas, they had no idea, nor were they willing to do any research, what kind of induction motor I needed FOR MY LENNOX HEATER! read more

This business is amazing. They repaired my motor while I waited and the charge was much less than I expected. Wow.

You bet... I've experienced better counter service before. It's rather a lost art and certainly - a pleasant personality should be a requirement for the selection of such a position. Technical knowledge coupled with a professional attitude is what made counter service in the 1960's an impressive experience. Took my Jennair downdraft cooktop blower motor in after it failed. They had a new motor available and went right to work changing it out. A really nice shop and people but I was very disappointed on the price. The gentleman at the counter volunteered that it would run $150, which was fine, but then the new guy wrote it up as $160 for the motor plus labor: $193. Wish they could have quoted me a more accurate price up front. Still, a good shop. read more

Reasonable price. Excellent staff went above and beyond for my simple order. Screw platt I am coming here from now on.

We had a small exhaust fan that needed to have some work done on the motor. After calling around town and being told by other electrical repair shops that "we don't do that kind of work," I found Conrey. They gave us an estimate of what it would cost to do the work and had it done in about a week. Everything looks and works great and the actual cost of the work was less than the original estimate. It is rare to experience something like that these days. I would give Conrey my highest recommendation. read more

Excellent and extremely timely service! My neighbor heartily recommended Conrey. After talking with another shop, I expected to have to replace a A/C condenser fan motor for close to $200. I arrived at the store very late in the day and Tom said he could repair the motor for $75 as it worked fine electrically but the bearings were bad. He asked what time the next morning would I like to get it. I said 10 am - he called at 9:15 to tell me it was done. I think if I had said 8 am he would have had it ready. I had my A/C running by 11 am and it was badly needed. For my needs, the service and quality of work could not have been any better, Thank you, Tom and thank you Conrey! read more

These guys are super sketchy. I was repairing my AC unit and bought a fan motor from them. I gave them all the information they requested to find the part for me and bought the motor and the fan that they said would be correct. It was the wrong motor. I installed it correctly and it did not even start up. I called for help and the guy I was speaking to on the phone had a tone the whole call like he was annoyed he had to talk to me. Was not friendly or helpful at all. I took the part out brought it back to return it and they told me they could not take the return for the expensive wrong motor they sold me because it had been installed. Then I asked to speak to the manager and Tom Anderson came out and told me once gain he could not accept the return because it was not in the same condition as when they sold it to me (it was). Finally he agreed to take it back but said he was charging me a 20% restocking fee because that was their policy. So they sold me the wrong part I installed it and it did not even run then I returned it and was charged a restocking fee. These guys were trying to rip me off and every person at this company treated me like I was stupid. I have never had such poor service and been treated so badly so I am writing this review to help others who read this so you do not shop here and get treated poorly and ripped off like I did. read more
