Mine no toppings except lettuce pickle raw onion and tomato. My way.

Been here a couple of times. Being that there are zero places to go in Kearney it's pretty good. If I want ambience, sports watching, music or something like this then I'd drive to Liberty where there might be more options. Pretty cafeteria feeling on the service side. Bar is dated. But for a bite to eat, good food and friendly waiters then it's pretty fantastic. I'm not a messy burger kinda gal so when it said Smash burger I was like eh... but it comes however you want it and I liked mine with no sauce or cheese. It was yummy and so were the crispy fries. My mom had the same but ordered the works on it and she loved hers too! Just the way we liked it. Have had the Reuben here and I remember it was very good too. We will be back again when up this way.

Smash burger and onion rings

Just wanted to give a shout out to the food and our waitress last night for dinner. I had a Smashburger with onion rings. I got 4 onion rings, but man, the size of them was huge. All you needed was 4. Very juicy and flavorful environment was very clean pics below.

Way too large a chunk of waxed cucumber for salad

Underwhelmed. Had fairly high expectations after reading several reviews. We stopped in because the place we wanted to visit was closed for lunch. This place has two entrances but you sort of have to figure that out for yourself. To the left is the bar. to the right is more family style. table and booth seating or bar if you choose. There is a slight stale smell inside. They have cloth napkins like a nicer restaurant but cracked plastic cups like a cheaper restaurant. dust on the walls and lights above the table. Sever "W" (i dont want to call her out by name) was professional but not warm, inviting or overly polite. Im not sure if she looked at our age and thought we were too young to be there. maybe she had been burned on tips in the past. (we are in our 30s but rest of clientele was much older). i just didnt feel welcomed by her at all. she never greeted us. Our food was good. my reuben was made wonderfully with thin slices of crisped corn beef. the horseradish mayo(?) was interesting. im still not sure if thats what it was. My husband ate all his chicken fried chicken. the sweet potato fries were quite delicious. The dessert was very good and large size. Mens bathroom smelled like dirty mop water and the women's smelled like sewer. They have a decent kids menu also. Overall the food tasted good. we were not unhappy but not impressed for the price with the overall feel and cleanliness of the place. for the prices and ambiance they seem to be seeking i would try to up the server game and cleaning a bit more. the carpet was dirty. has stains and visible food on it everywhere. Salad had HUGE chunks of inedible cucumber with its waxy skin still on. looked like an after thought or a hack job. salad was very disappointing. no effort at all.

Very disappointed, was renamed due to the owners have another property named the same. Since the name change they have tore down the outside deck and no more bike nights . The service was very slow and lacking to say the least. Will not return, however the food was good so sad .

Nothing fancy or gourmet, but one of the best Pork Tenderloin sandwiches around! Decent selection of craft brews, some local.

Food was great, service poor. Not the servers fault, understaffed. And I'll give Yelp one star for making me add to this review.

A surprising find for a small town. Everything from great steaks, to everyday sandwiches. Large variety of items, also serve breakfast.

It was past closing time and it has been on our list of places to visit so Saturday morning we took a trip to Kearney Missouri. The Corner Kitchen and General Store serves classic comfort food all day breakfast, burgers and they have rotating weekend specials. Lunches and combos specials :fried chicken tenders ,burnt end, jalapeño peppers are all on the rotating weekly lunch menu. All combos comes with fries or tots and a fountain drink. Tim and I both had biscuit and gravy, coffee and Coke. I have to say that biscuit and gravy was pretty darn good. Your food does not come out on plates comes out in containers, plastic utensils. We also got apple cinnamon rolls. YUMMY !!They have regular cinnamon rolls and apple cinnamon rolls. It is also a general store that sells items for camping needs, bug spray, laundry soap, dish soap, aspirin, sunscreen, T-shirts, sun, hats, stuffed animals, sunglasses etc. We were welcomed as we came in took our order then brought it to our table. Atmosphere is very cozy and comfy. People were very friendly. 26017 country RA Kearney, Missouri Monday and Tuesday closed Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 7 AM to 3 PM Friday and Saturday 7 AM to 6 PM

My kiddies breakfast was the absolutely most perfect portion sizes. I was SO happy when the waitress let me order it. I'm not a big breakfast eater but I all sounded so good! The biscuits and gravy were yummy! The breakfast potatoes were divine. The bacon was thick and crispy and the eggs were scrambled just right. The smell was like something somewhere was wet and moldy/rotten. It was very bad. We were not welcomed just told to find a seat and the lady would come over when she was ready. literally she said "Find a spot to sit and when I get a chance i'll be round with menus" like it was the greeting of the day. I shook it off because I really wanted to like this place. My food was beyond basic. canned veggies. Not even homemade gravy! the brown gravy was very clearly premade from a store. it was gelatinous dark brown like melted chocolate and tasted just like some jarred gravy. my hot beef was placed on top of an unbuttered and untoasted piece of plain white sandwich bread. so it was completely soggy and disintegrated into pasty slop. the beef did have a nice flavor. The glasses were nice but had a smell like old dishwater when you put it up to your face to drink. Not sure if it was just the smell of the building I asked my parents and daughter, all made a sneer before smelling their own glasses to find the same odor. The woman waiting on us (pixie cut blonde hair) was so unavailable for our table. for a restaurant with only 3 other tables full she was very nonexistent. Took a long time to order drinks and then longer to order food. but our food came out in less than 7min which is weird considering it takes 6min to fry fresh chicken not including time to batter them. and then plate all the other food. So I have a strong impression they don't make a lot of fresh food. the dessert case was mentioned and so I asked if they at least make their pies in house. The exact words to me were "No, but we use a company that only makes pies and cakes" for the record, Marie Callander makes pies and is a pie company. and all the pies they had were varieties sold at the local Price Chopper..so I passed because I come to restaurants to eat food I otherwise cant or wont make at home. Nothing about this experience felt good.
