I was informed by my dentist that I needed to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted (mouth…read morecrowding/plaque formation on 2nd molars). Having your wisdom teeth yanked when you are 18 years old is no biggie, however, when you are over 40 years old, people look at your with a horrified and pained expression when you tell them you are having your wisdom teeth pulled. You start to hear horror stories: "I was so swollen and bruised" "I couldn't eat for a week" "I was spitting clots of blood" "I got a dry socket" Holy crap. But I had no choice. I had put it off for a year. I met the oral surgeon that my dentist referred me to and I hated him---brusque, arrogant attitude. No thanks Luckily, my friend's daughter had her wisdom teeth removed and I saw her daughter day after her procedure. She said "It wasn't too bad" My friend told me this particular oral surgeon was a great guy. I made my appointment with Dr. Colameo. He is everything I look for in a doctor. Smart, warm, easy to talk to with and a good sense of humor. Immediately put me at ease. I had my extraction done in office with IV anesthesia: Versed/Fentanyl and Diprivan. Another name for Diprivan is Propofol and it is jokingly referred to as Milk of Amnesia. And that's what I had: amnesia, no memories of anything painful or uncomfortable. I never heard any tooth cracking or felt any pulling. I woke up 40 minutes later and was in no pain at all. I was never swollen. I only ended up taking 5 Percocet out of the 24 I was prescribed. Five days after the procedure, I was able to eat normally again...until then I was eating soft food due to some mild discomfort over the extraction sites. The office staff is courteous and polite. None of my wisdom teeth were impacted so I imagine that helped my recovery. Dr. Colameo wrote me out of work for 3 days. I could have gone to Disney on Day 2. I hope your oral surgery goes as well : )

Dr. Liao is polite and knowledgeable it seems, however, I took my Invisalign business elsewhere…read morebecause I personally didn't like his staff. From my last visited quote, I asked why the price went up and the staff said because of the pandemic.. really? is that a joke? but one of them mentioned they are busier than ever. They don't even have hand sanitizers available after filling out their mandatory covid forms with the same pen that is clipped to the clipboard and I had to ask for a hand sanitizer. This made me think about my safety and compared to other medical offices, and for a dentist where things are going in my mouth, I was concerned about the staff's hygiene practices and their care of customer's safety. In addition, I really disliked that we were discussing my financial situation, standing in front of a lobby over plexiglass, while other customers were listening about my procedures and price quote. The manager (Josephine?) was polite and tried to be accommodating but I just didn't feel right about their staff. I really felt unappreciated as a customer. 2 hours later, I went to another Invisalign provider and they gladly price match and I paid the whole procedure in full minus insurance coverage. They also had a ton of hand sanitizers available and they separated the new and used pens in front of their counters. My fiancé needs Invisalign as well and I might have her go to the other place with me as well.

A dental office that I don't dread coming to!…read more This dental office is so clean and decorated with beautiful modern décor, the entire staff is extremely friendly, and Dr. Liao actually cares about his patients and takes the time to get to know them. He even thoroughly explains why you may be experiencing pain, discomfort, or sensitivity instead of just telling you to floss more then rushing you out as soon as possible. I highly recommend this office!

The staff was great to deal with and quite helpful. The doctor and dental hygienist were cool and made my experience very easy. I am not one that likes the dentist chair, and being that this was my first time the hygienist made me feel at ease. What made it even better, was the GREAT work she did. She cleaned my teeth like never before. AND, the best part was NO BLOOD! Yes, no bleeding from the cleaning. I was quite happy with this experience. Plenty of parking spots, and the waiting room isn't too bad.

When the insurance information did not transfer to this new office, an hour passed by to rectify the issue. So in turn, with understanding I passed my noon appointment as others went ahead. However, by 1pm I was taken into the room to take a series of xrays. Once finished i remained in another room and had a cleaning. It was now 2pm. I still had yet to see the doctor. I went in mind you for severe pain in my gum above a tooth. As time passed, it was now 245pm and still no dentist. I finally got up from the chair and exclaimed, I have to go. The doctor said she was in the middle of a surgery. So, why keep people waiting 3 hours. Acknowledge me and tell me so I dont sit there for hours. Then I was told to reschedule. They wanted to give me 2 days later.!seriously for pain. So I was told to fill a prescription when the doctor had not even seen me yet. Further why would I wait 2 days. So I was told the dentist would call me and review the xrays with me over the phone. Guess what? A day later and I am still waiting on this call. Horrible. Just Horrible. I could be dead and they completely ignore their patients. Further waiting 3 hours for a dentist is insane. Horrible experience.

I appreciate that gesture and want to give credit where it's due. The concerns outlined below remain, but this was a meaningful step in the right direction. Raising my rating to reflect that, and grateful for how they personally handled this. Maria and Marcello are a credit to this practice. Would recommend giving the practice another chance!

I came in here for dental appointment with my fiancé, they assisted my fiancé first and did x-rays and cleaning and I was booked first with an appointment but after inspecting insurances they called my fiancé in first I was then left in the waiting room for 1 hour we came in at 9:30am. While waiting I can hear them speaking about me saying they won't do cleaning for me. When my name is called at around 11am they tell me they will only do x rays I said if I'm not doing everything today I don't want to do anything. The nurse who called me in went to speak to the front desk the other nurse comes in (the one who was saying out loud that she won't be cleaning my teeth try's to convince me that I should do X-rays and come another day for cleaning) I told her no I'm not wasting another day when I can do both the same day and I got here early. My fiancé came in same time as me and she got a full service so I should too. They proceeded to tell me I booked an appointment for consultation but me and my wife booked the appointment together through zocdoc for the same reasoning.
