I always review the places that I've been employed at. I like to use reviews before I consider…read moreapplying somewhere, so the information I'm about to provide will be helpful for those who do the same. For starters, the only positive thing I can say about this place is the people. By that I mean the guys out in the field, drivers, and shop workers. Top notch guys and they were a joy to work with. The Reed family on the other hand... pure toxicity. I was hired as a "Receiving Specialist" despite doing way more than receiving. I managed their tool inventory, managed the MRO, entered requisitions, and did some stuff with equipment. That is a material and supply coordinator, but I suppose them not being able to title an employee properly should have been the first red flag. When I walked into this place it was one of the biggest messes I've ever seen in my life. There is absolutely ZERO organization here. I received zero training besides system training, and boy is their system a joke. The training doesn't matter much because I have 15+ years of experience, but the system is another red flag. They have a single guy creating their system with no backup plan. The thing breaks if you hit the refresh button. It's the sort of thing where you think you are getting punked, because it's unbelievably that bad. They swear by it despite the numerous times it's shown to not work, and not a single employee I talked to likes it. They are testing things in a live environment which is a huge no no. It's beyond frustrating to use and shows how cheap they are. This is an area you do not cut corners... it will run everything. Yet that is exactly what they did. Their motto here has to be "Just wing it" because that is all you'll ever see. They try to do things at the last second consistently, and there is very little to no planning involved. A company that is over 30+ years old would have things down, or so you would think. This place looks like they just started. They blame this on a building move but literally had everything in piles. I took the time to organize the best I could making it look miles better, but I could only do so much with the limited resources they provided. They only had a few shelves, and the rest they just stick on pallets and throw them in a corner somewhere. It's nearly impossible to find anything in this place, and they have no motivation to provide the resources to make it even half way decent. My role was the valley, meaning everything came through me some how. Naturally they use the position of receiving specialist, or material coordinator as a whipping post. All I heard coming in here were horror stories about the guys before me. None of them would last because they were set up for failure right out of the gate. They do not care about their employee's well being at all. You will only see negativity from the Reed family. I have pretty thick skin and I also carry a strong work ethic. The majority of things don't phase me. However, one thing I don't tolerate is being talked down to, and this is something Dustin does daily to a variety of people including myself. They also do ambush tactics here like crazy. Coming into this place I did not expect the Reed family to exhibit such toxic behavior. It was so bad that this place regularly gave me nightmares which is when I decided to put in my two week notice. (6 months in) That same day they ambushed me again at the end of the day telling me that I don't need to come back. This is probably the most unprofessional thing I've ever seen in my life. These grown adults act like children and wonder why they have such an extremely high turn over rate. It's partly comical, but mostly just sad. I'd advise strong caution if you're seeking employment here. It doesn't matter how much they are willing to pay you... it's not worth the mental stress of dealing with the Reed family.

Unresponsive and incompetent. I have been dealing with this…read morecompany for nearly a year, trying to determine why I was charged over $150 for less than 15 minutes of work. I initially called due to a smallish pool of water on my basement floor about 15 feet away from the water heater and about three feet from the drainpipe that leads outside and connects to the septic line. The plumber who was sent appeared clueless and fumbled around in the basement for about ten minutes. He informed me that he couldn't figure out what the problem was, but "his guess" was that it was a leak from the water heater (despite the fact that the water was nowhere near the water heater). He apparently tightened a washer, although I only found that out after I received the bill, as it was on the invoice. After he departed, he apparently sat in my driveway for nearly an hour, so that he could charge 1.5 hours' worth of "plumbing service." (My office is in the back of the house and the driveway is not visible from where I was working. I can only assume he sat there, as the receptionist later told me she could track his truck and it was stationary at my location for over an hour.) Two days later, there was an extremely large pool of water in my basement and I did NOT call this company again. I instead called a reputable firm with a competent plumber, who accurately diagnosed the problem as a major issue in the septic line from the house to the tank. We ended up having to dig up the line and replace a pipe ($1200) as well as a service call to clean up the gray water in the basement. Oh, but the story does not end there. When I received the initial bill from Cooley's in July 2022, I called to speak with someone about the excessive time charged. The receptionist stated that she would pass the message on to "Gary." I never received a callback. I called again in August 2022 and received the same response and the same lack of a callback. I received a second statement in November 2022, and again called to speak with someone. This time I asked specifically for Gary and was told he was not available but would call me back. Fast forward to March 2023 and my third bill. I again contacted the company and after explaining my situation, was initially told by the receptionist that she had never spoken with me before. After some additional discussion, she "remembered" and finally gave me a phone number for Gary. I left a message...we'll see if he calls me back.
