Office managers nasty, beligerent and simply refuse to answer simple questions that could end or extend a patients life. They have a lot of offices and nobody knows what they are doing. My life was put in danger and if you value your life do not go here. Patients are grossly ignored.

While it seems to be customary to wait for any doctor these days I actually like this doctor and staff so it makes the wait slightly less painful. Dr. Bloom is definitely one of the best doctors I've had the pleasure of seeing for my issues and I've met some real doozies. He made me feel comfortable, listened to, and genuinely cared about. He has a good sense of humor which makes for a good bedside manner. Now keep in mind I haven't seen him in over 3 years and yet he knew me right away. I will continue to see Dr. Bloom for as long as medically necessary; and for as long as I'm in CT, you should to!

I have continued to receive bills from this office all because they will not update my record to reflect the correct referring provider. If that isn't enough, after having an ultrasound done the medical asst insisted that they had not received results almost a week later when the facility assured me that they were completed and faxed the same day I had it done. The final nail in the coffin occurred when I found out I was expecting and a physician asst by the name of Stephanie asked rather callously,"So you are going to keep the baby?!" Someone should re coach every single member of this staff on the correct way to run a medical practice. I'm so glad I don't go there any longer. I would not recommend him.

Agreed I should stay overnight for endoscopy, he spoke with Dresnick - I saw him speak to him and even confirmed with a phone call at the end of his shift that Dresnick would do the scope. I was instructed to not eat or drink in the ER all night, all morning. Dresnik sent his PA, Michelle, the next morning who was cold and rude to tell me he was not doing the scope, it wasn't an emergency. His PA said he didn't even know who I was. Complete lie!!!! Then she stepped out to speak to with a nurse about Botox and a new boyfriend. I chose my health over my job when I decided to stay overnight in the ER (cancel important meetings at work) just to have my time wasted by Dresnik and his schedule.

His demeanor is respectful and firm, while being very thorough in his work. The practice has two locations, both of which are easily accessible by Rt. 15 and have ample parking. The large waiting room and super clean exam rooms show that the doctor pays attention to patient comfort. He also has a good turn around time for patient appointments, test results, prescriptions, and scheduling procedures.

He is extremely personable and makes you feel comfortable when discussing GI problems which at times can be an uncomfortable subject. I appreciate that his office has hours that are flexible and various locations. I find his office to be one of the easiest doctors offices to deal with for questions, appointments, refills or anything. It's nice to feel appreciated from the moment I pick up the phone to when I leave. I cannot say enough good things about them…read more Every person that I dealt with at Connecticut GI in Glastonbury--and there were several--was professional and polite, knowledgeable and patient. And a few even had a great sense of humor! I had a few concerns about the procedure and my medication, and they were addressed immediately and efficiently. When I arrived on the day of the procedure, each person I spoke with took the time to explain everything I needed to know and answered every one of my questions, always treating me with the utmost kindness and respect. I have absolutely no qualms about recommending this group to anyone who needs the services they provide. They were wonderful!

I prerequested a non sedated procedure.Under way he seemed to blame every thing on a bad prep until I succumbed to their insessant demands for sedation on the table and the pain got to much.. If he had been skillful enough no sedation is usually nessacary. European Doctors rarely request expensive sedation. No the guy is suggesting a 2 year followup at age 67! With no polps or other findings other than normal. It was a money grab from my insurance plain and simple.
