I was a little nervous because of the diametrically opposed reviews here. It seems like it's either a one or a five. We were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday, so I really wanted it to be a good experience And it was an amazing experience. The restaurant is really pretty. It's got fairy lights and waterfalls and tablecloths. The service was great. We were checked on multiple times. We never had a dirty dish on the table for a second. Our drinks were refilled promptly. Everyone was very nice and accommodating and most importantly the food was great! The warm crusty bread was delicious and the spread that they gave us was really good. My boyfriend got the Delmonico ribeye which was cooked perfectly and was tender and delicious. I got the chili and Seabass and it was also really great and then we got the black tie chocolate cake for dessert which was delicious and it even had a message written on it and we got a giant sparkler to celebrate at the end. They gave me a beautiful rose, which actually has bloomed out and looks amazing. Still, I would most definitely go back here!

Del Monico

Food was phenomenal, the potatoes that came with my dish were perfectly cooked and had great flavor depth. However, I run into a few problems with the cook on my steak, and the plating. This dish was 57$ and I requested the steak be cooked medium rare but more on the rare side. My steak was bordering blue rare. It tasted amazing regardless. I also wish to add that the plating was sloppy, obviously this is just nit picking, but it is something I wished to include. Service was alright, I had to ask multiple times for my sparkling water that I had ordered. This was during a work party and we had a group of around 10 while the restaurant was already pretty full so I understand how it could have slipped their mind, however at a restaurant as professional as this I would have expected better regardless.

Hands down top notch service from the moment we arrived. We had a large group and they accommodated us very well. The service was amazing and the food was stellar. The host was poised and perfectly executed the evening.

Food and services were all wonderful. Get the delmonico- you'll love it. I also had the shrimp cocktail and the Caesar salad.

All things just keeping getting better..... connected has always been great and coming back to Illinois I was glad to see some things never change. The interior is romantic and interesting. Love the front addition. Service is 5 stars here. Several people attending to your table. Still ending with a rose and limoncello I was very happy to see the sea bass was still on the menu. So good! And the delmonico steak is a must. The bread comes with an eggplant dip that I could drink ! They have a great selection of whisky don't sleep on connected !

The food is outstanding. I had something that has a complicated name but it's basically spicy shrimp with linguine. Phenomenal.

I personally got the falafel sandwich and I could tell it was authentic and it was extremely tasty. For 3 combo meals and a 15% tip it was around $50 which isn't too bad for lunch. They also have a case of treats that you can purchase. There's desserts as well as hummus and other mediterranean foods. I recommend the hummus it's TO DIE FOR. One tip I have to give to this business is I saw at least 3 different people walk up to the counter asking for silverware. It might make it easier on the staff if you put some out so you're not constantly interrupted :)

I got the gyro special which is a gyro, fries and a drink for around $12.00. The food is always so good. The fries here are always freshly cooked and crunchy! They're delicious. The gyro is excellent. I also ordered the cheese balls. They were yummy. If you're looking for a great gyro come to Khoury's on University. It's been here forever. They have a large menu of non Mediterranean items too. But I always order the gyro.

Passing through town, we needed a lunch place and chose One World. Wow, it was hopping over lunch…read moreon a Monday. Lots of energy in the place. There is quite a bit of seating. We had a nice booth in a back room. I chose the Lavendar lemonade. So good. Full of fresh fruit as well which I was happy to eat after the lemonade was gone. We split a turkey club sandwich with kettle chips on the side. So glad we split as it was huge. It came on a tomato ciabatta bun. It was so stuffed with ingredients it was hard to take the first bite. Street parking was easy. Service was good. I forgot my Yeti cup there and I reached out via the website and someone connected with me quickly to arrange sending it to me. So nice. It's appreciated!!

I HIGHLY recommend the appetizer sampler platter, it is my favorite thing on the menu! A trio of great apps including a creamy spinach artichoke dip with warm bread, perfect pico de gallo with tortilla chips and fresh hummus with warm pita triangles. Perfect for sharing or just having as a meal honestly! We also love the Mac n cheese and burgers! For breakfast, I recommend the Belgium waffle- it is so good!! They have a variety of typical breakfast fare as well.

And we highly recommend a visit, especially if you are familiar with the brand! Like the BloNo location there are at least two entrances - the one further west is for a good sized hosting/ordering/waiting area while the one closest to the ballpark has more direct access to the bar area, but is way more space-restricted and will likely be a traffic jam on game days. If you're looking for a table, both entrances open to the rest of the cool 'industrial chic' dining areas in the form of a large street-level open concept dining area and a good sized split-level (up 3-4 steps) back room - which despite having wide entrances that make it feel part of the larger space, likely can easily be cordoned-off for private functions. One visit in and the lady and I (plus our friend and former Ptown bartender) can say that the food was every bit the same top-quality, large portion, methodically cooked and creatively accented sandwiches and wraps, served in old school pie pans with red-white check paper liners, that we are used to. The weekend special shaved ribeye Cali burrito was particularly epic, cementing what seems to be the first of the 3 or 4 things that keep the crowds coming back. The second thing is the creativity and discernment applied to bar side - in the form of the beer menu, which is initially focused on bottles/cans since they just received the liquor license the day before our arrival. Despite this there was a good mix of 'domestics' and at least 20 quality craft options from 6 or 8 fantastic breweries representing a good variety of styles but leaning like those at the original location - that is, a few more IPAs and 'sweet sours'. They also maintain a thoughtful and inventive cocktail list and will NO DOUBT start building up the whiskey/bourbon collection in the coming weeks. Although having high quality and fairly compensated employees helps immensely, the last thing that really drives their business is something we often say three times - location... In this case, it's literally less than a block from home plate. Easy to find. Easy to love. We'll certainly be back!

My wife and I do Sunday Morning Date Day which is bowling and went to Landmark until they closed,…read morethen Mt Hawley but sometimes they are closed/busy. Though I had never considered going to Tilted 10 as I expected it to be less than a real bowling center, I learned that the Master's League is now cycling it in and they are trying. With all of the video/arcade games in the facility, the atmosphere IS much like bowling inside of a Dave & Busters or Chuck E Cheese on a Saturday night as the lanes are not blocked off from all of the other chaos. When I am practicing alone this will never be an issue as I wear earbuds and listen to Spotify but when the wife and I bowl, it is a loud background noise. That said, I have been there twice now and find it to be a decent place to practice or have a good time with friends. When I went in today, knowing that I bowl league, he intentionally put me on a lane that had the most oil. That was nice though I am comfortable practicing on anything because you get better through challenge not being coddled. :) The scoring system has LOT of options available including skill games like Low Ball and such. The first time going there, the wife got chicken tenders and tater tots of some sort and said they were what you would expect. Edible but nothing that would make you come back just for them. Pricing isn't bad depending on how slow you are or how many people you have. They charge by the hour and my receipt shows $25.75 out the door. For me that isn't bad. Today I got 6 1/2 games in during that time or basically $4 a game. That is the same price (per game) I pay at Mt Hawley. From an equipment standpoint, they have really worked on making sure the equipment is running as it should and in 12+ games on 2 different lanes the only thing we had was 1 ball return call. Overall, the NON-bowling portion of it looks really nice. Lots of games and such, as well as indoor miniature golf that looks like a really nice setup. Staff has been pleasant and the manager is a bowler as well, so he gets what needs to be done and what is expected on that front.

I can't say much about the food because I've only had the pretzels with cheese, ice cream and soft…read moredrinks, but they were very good. I go for the arcade games which have degrees of difficulty. Some claws are set to a payout, so you have to hope that you are there when it is ready to pay out, others are set to skill, so I can win more often. I play quite a bit in the coin pushers, especially the Avengers. The prize area is nice and its prizes change almost weekly in my opinion. ALL of the staff is amazing! So helpful and nice. If there is a problem with a matching they are right there to fix it for you and have even given me extra swipes for the inconvenience. Tilted 10 has a nice layout with bowling mini golf and a small "bumper car" area near the back of the store. The restaurant is also located near the back of the store.
