Food was good. Our group ate tenderloins and catfish. Breading is light and crispy. Cole Slaw good and French fries fresh cut and fried just right. Staff was busily working to assure customers were attended to. Manager on site on Saturday night interacting with clients. Atmosphere encouraged conversation and a good time was had by all. Thanks. We'll be back.

    Tenderloin

Wow. As my wife said, these are times I wish I had an extra stomach. The food was great, generous portions, and excellent wait staff. I had the tenderloin special which was bigger than anything you find in the area, thick and juicy, plenty of flavor. My wife has the chef steak, which was like a cheesesteak but made with tender chunks of steak. The cheeseballs are awesome as well, if you want an appetizer. You can't go wrong. It's my first time here, but I plan on coming back more often!

I think it's important to say first that this is a fairly new place that is not some franchise were there is already a formula for success. Food is unique and not bad, but there are some issues. 1st and most importantly more staff needs to be hired for Saturday's, and menu needs to be reformatted to give more details about what your actually ordering. Pros: newly remodeled, millennial looking clean restaurant, food portion to cost ok, food portions big(almost too big), hard working waitress. Cons: menu very vague, tenderloin had fishy after taste, ice tea was very old, wait to be seated took over 10 minutes, wait for waitress after order was decided 5-10mins, food took almost 30minutes to come out of kitchen (understaffed), ran out of A1 sauce and they did not have anymore on hand, no tables around me where being busted because of the staff shortage, small round table size compared to food portion size was annoying, small round tables were too close together, french fries came out from kitchen cold.

Heard that there was a new restaurant where the old 801 club used to be. Having ate at the 801 club for years, we had to try it out. The place looks completely different. Very well remodeled. Waitress greeted us as we walked in and seated us. She got our drinks quickly, then took our order. The food came in a timely order, and was very delicious. My mom's tenderloin was meaty and big. Enough meat there for a family of four. Her Mac and cheese was best I ever tasted. A very classy take on Mac and cheese. My Philly cheese steak was excellent as well. Lots of big chunks of steak. My fries were fresh cut and yummy. Iced tea was very good also. My only complaint was the price. Tonight's dinner set me back about $28. A tad spendy for my lifestyle, but maybe not for you. Give this place a try and form your own opinion.

Homemade Texas size tenderloin and awesome fries

It was the first time my wife and I had eaten here for dinner and it was amazing! They have daily and monthly specials and the staff was very nice. The chef personally came out and explained how they prepare the steaks to my wife and brought her a sample of the glaze to try. We ordered the fried macaroni and the white gold cheese is delicious. The steak was prepared perfect my wife said and my tenderloin was hand made and delicious and as big as Texas. When we were finished the chef came out again and asked how we liked everything then brought us dessert on the house: fried strawberries which were awesome. We will most definitely be back to try lunch! Great staff, great food and a great, CLEAN environment. Thank you.

    Pulled Pork Horseshoe

Stopped at the Billboard Bistro on Friday and it was by far one of the best comfort meals I've had in years. Our waitress, Joy, was very friendly and informative about the menu and was very prompt. She suggested that we try the cheese sticks and we ordered them. The cheese sticks appetizer was a 3 piece that was gigantic and tasted like fresh mozzarella and fried on site, not the frozen taste like everywhere else. I ordered the Bourbon Bacon Burger and it tastes very good, but was very sweet. The spouse ordered the pulled pork horseshoe and it was by far the best horseshoe we had outside Darcy's in Springfield. The cheese sauce was homemade and melted in your mouth and the fries were home sliced and fries to perfection. We live 30 minutes away and have already determined that we will come back for another horseshoe and a different burger next time. This place is epic and priced great for what you get.

At first we were unsure because it's definitely off the beaten path, but we're SO glad we stopped. Stacy, our server, greeted us with a smile and gave us several great recommendations. They had multiple lunch specials and a surprisingly extensive drink menu. We kicked things off with the garlic bread cheese curds -- 10/10 all on their own! My husband ordered the Oktoberfest burger and I had the bourbon sliders. Both were hand-pattied, perfectly cooked, and not greasy at all. The bourbon glaze on my sliders was incredible. The beer cheese on his burger was hot, melty, and delicious. Even though we were already stuffed, we had to try the toffee butter cake... wow. A warm cake filled with cannoli cream, topped with gooey sauce and Heath toffee bits. Absolutely worth it. Service was 10/10. Stacy was super informative, answered all our questions, checked on us regularly, and even told us about their Shipwreck Bloody Marys and Shipwreck Shakes -- which we're definitely coming back to try. We will happily make the 3-hour drive again just to eat here. Highly recommend!

However the fans were broken and according to the server they've been broken since winter, meaning they've had TIME to fix it. This made it very hot and without curtains or anything of the sort, even the umbrellas in the picture were not present. There were flies EVERYWHERE, which the fans WOULD'VE helped with. I would give five stars if this problem that's existed for a while had been fixed.

And we highly recommend a visit, especially if you are familiar with the brand! Like the BloNo location there are at least two entrances - the one further west is for a good sized hosting/ordering/waiting area while the one closest to the ballpark has more direct access to the bar area, but is way more space-restricted and will likely be a traffic jam on game days. If you're looking for a table, both entrances open to the rest of the cool 'industrial chic' dining areas in the form of a large street-level open concept dining area and a good sized split-level (up 3-4 steps) back room - which despite having wide entrances that make it feel part of the larger space, likely can easily be cordoned-off for private functions. One visit in and the lady and I (plus our friend and former Ptown bartender) can say that the food was every bit the same top-quality, large portion, methodically cooked and creatively accented sandwiches and wraps, served in old school pie pans with red-white check paper liners, that we are used to. The weekend special shaved ribeye Cali burrito was particularly epic, cementing what seems to be the first of the 3 or 4 things that keep the crowds coming back. The second thing is the creativity and discernment applied to bar side - in the form of the beer menu, which is initially focused on bottles/cans since they just received the liquor license the day before our arrival. Despite this there was a good mix of 'domestics' and at least 20 quality craft options from 6 or 8 fantastic breweries representing a good variety of styles but leaning like those at the original location - that is, a few more IPAs and 'sweet sours'. They also maintain a thoughtful and inventive cocktail list and will NO DOUBT start building up the whiskey/bourbon collection in the coming weeks. Although having high quality and fairly compensated employees helps immensely, the last thing that really drives their business is something we often say three times - location... In this case, it's literally less than a block from home plate. Easy to find. Easy to love. We'll certainly be back!

Not real busy, but I did notice that there seemed to be several "Door Dash" pickups while we ate dinner. We had good service. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered 1/2 rack ribs (4 stars), 1/2lb Brisket (3 1/2 stars), Brunswick stew (4 1/2 starts), and Chili Con Carnie (5 stars). The house made barbecue sauce was the highlight of the meal (5 Stars). The ribs were very good and fell off the bone. The sauce made them exceptional. Brisket was tasty, but a little dry for my wife's liking. In hindsight, we probably should have ordered the brisket "chopped". The waitress indicated that the "chopped" brisket was more "fatty". The Chili Con Carnie was very very good. Not something that you see at a Barbeque place often. I highly recommend. The key lime pie was very tasty and better than what you get at most places. Although not quite exceptional. Worth a try though. Overall, we liked the Blue Duck Barbecue Tavern. Great location and lots of character. Very good ribs, excellent homemade barbeque sauce.

Life as a Southerner in the Midwest is not fair at times…read more I found Bellevue Tap and read a glowing review about their wings thanks to Yelp. I figured I had to go try them. I do not drink alcohol and many places here in the Midwest do not serve sweet tea. I have brought my own sweet tea countless times to restaurants and no one cared... that is until Bellevue Tap. I sat down and the first thing I said was I was here for wings. The lady noticed my tumbler and asked what was in it. I said sweet tea. She then told me I couldn't have that in there. I did not see a sign anywhere that was posted about not bringing outside drinks especially one they did not have on hand. I guess she thought I was going to pick the wings over my sweet tea and well, she was wrong. I got up and left. Before I wrote this review, I googled to see if I was at fault for bringing in my own drink. The only thing I could find was the restaurant could ask me to leave. But I told her I was going to order wings. I thought if I wanted to give them money, they wouldn't care. Like I said, I have lived in the Midwest for 4 years and brought in my own sweet tea to countless places. No one else cared and I even asked if it was ok several times before. I can understand if I was not going to order food or they had sweet tea on hand on why they would tell me not to bring it in. The lesson here...Don't mess with this Bama Boy and his sweet tea! Review Visit: March 2nd, 2016…read more If there is an earthquake, this place will be playing 52 Card Pickup. My girlfriend had mentioned Tyroni's quite a few times as a place she wanted to try and we finally found the perfect time to go. It was a cold day and we needed something to warm us up. What better than pizza to warm you up and put a smile on our face. We arrived to an empty parking lot. I was certain the place was closed for the day. As we milled about outside trying to see if the place was open, I snapped the selfie above and then we proceeded to try and enter the restaurant. As we were walking in, a waitress was coming up to us to ask if we were okay. We said we were, we were just trying to figure out if the place was open or not. She said we just missed a crowd and had the place to ourselves. Perfect! My girlfriend and I like similar things, so it wasn't too hard to pick out a pizza. The unexpected thing happened when we went to place our order. They had a special of buy one, get one half off. We took them up on the offer and we both ordered our own pizza instead of splitting one. This let us get exactly what we wanted without compromise. Perfect! We did order some breadsticks, so we munched on those while we waited. As with most appetizers, this was a bad ideas a breadsticks tend to be a bit filling. The waitress slid our two pizzas in front of us as we regretted eating so much of our appetizer. We did leave room for pizza, thankfully. Having two full pizzas placed in front of us meant that we were going to go back home in a food coma, for sure. Slowly but surely we worked on the pizza. We sampled each others pizza and agreed that getting our own was the right choice. I liked hers but was not food envious for once. The pizzas were pretty tasty. I don't remember being amazed by it but at the same time, it was exactly what I expected for the price. That happy middle ground between frozen store bought pizza and gourmet. And you know what, that was perfect for what we were needing on this day. We actually came back a few weeks later to get more pizza but declined the second pizza for half off. We had too many left overs from the first visit that we knew better this time around. The second trip was equally as decent as the first one. We knew what we were expecting and Tyroni's delivered on just that. There is a cool aspect to Tyroni's. They have a ton of playing cards embedded in the ceiling. I am sure I asked our waitress about it before but the meaning behind it is long forgotten. Still, a pretty neat thing to see while sitting. Though with my short attention span, I found myself getting lost in looking at all the cards. Tyroni's is a great stop if you need some pizza at a decent price and a decent taste.
