This place is almost a hidden gem! We had a really fun time overall, but a few things held it back from being a full 5 stars. The mini golf course itself is well-maintained and full of creative, tropical-themed obstacles that made the game super enjoyable. However, we felt a bit rushed throughout our game due to a family closely trailing us the entire time--it definitely took away from the relaxed, fun pace we were hoping for. The arcade and laser maze felt like more of an afterthought than a feature--both lacked the excitement or variety that could've made them stand out. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for those extras. That said, Micah was an absolute standout! Friendly, helpful, and genuinely made us feel welcome. He deserves a shoutout for excellent customer service. And yes--the live gator experience was a wild and unforgettable touch! Holding Shrimp Boat was so much fun and a unique bonus you don't find just anywhere (for us). A great and fairly cheap or family date-night way to get out of the house, spent some time together and the local kids seem to love it all! Just not recommended in the middle of summer unless it's dark outside as there's not a lot of shade during the warmer months of the year, which as all central Floridians would know, that is quite often. But in general, this isn't a bad place to treat yourself out for some adventure-filled mini-golf and usually some ice cream at Bruster's afterwards...there's also discounts for the regulars, a gift shop, trivia and oh...did I mention the many, little, live alligators?!!! read more

We started out at the East Orlando location and with the recommendation from Ty we're sent to check out this location . Totally glad we decided to come check out this location . This one has so much greenery and water it is surreal . One of the most beautiful mini golf course's I have ever seen . The holes are fairly challenging compared to the other three locations in the area . Still can make par on all the holes but the chances of a hole in one is a lot lower . We did the course 3 times and only had a total of 5 hole in one between 2 people . Like the other three locations in the area the grounds are some of the most well kept grounds of any mini golf you will ever see across the country . All 4 of the Congo River course's around Orlando definitely take pride in having the grounds well taken care of . read more

Went well family was in town for vacation. We played 18 holes. They have a nice large private lot plenty of room to park , they have batting cages as well as an arcade to try out while you're waiting for your rounds of golf We went on the weekend. There was seven of us and we were able to play right away. It took us an hour and 45 minutes to complete 18 holes with all of us. read more

Thanks fellow Yelpers for rating this place highly when we were in Apopka for some pre-birthday fun. We had the best time!! The girl at the front desk was super helpful. Sadly I forget her name. She was blonde, if that helps. lol We ended up getting the full package that included mini golf, arcade tokens, feeding and holding alligators, mining, and laser tag. And a take-home golf ball. lol. It was around $85 for both of us, a little pricey, but totally worth it. The mini golf was so fun! One of the best courses (?) I've ever played. Really well-done with the theming, challenging, and challenges within the game where you spin a wheel for an added challenge (move the ball with your foot was a least-favorite of mine). The gator feeding and holding was super fun too! They have dried chicken for them to eat. I was surprised the baby gator I held so so cold, but they're cold-blooded (duh!). The baby gators mouth was taped closed and I wasn't nervous at all. The husband opted out of the holding, though. The arcade was tiny, but I was fine with it as they had pinball (my fave!) And they had one of those claw-machines and I actually won a rubber ducky! Mining was fun too. They bring you a bag and you soft through it. We found some pretty gemstones and out them in a clear lamp we have to remember our fun time. The only thing that was lackluster was the laser tag. We must've missed the instructions, but I think we were supposed to go through it like bank-robber style. That was the only option for 2 players. My middle aged body ducked and weaved and made it all the way to the end and I hit the hand mark and.. nothing. So that was disappointing. I had an amazing time and would totally return! This was such a great mini golf course! Granted, I'm 35 and haven't mini golfed in over a decade, so maybe I'm out of the loop, but I had the most fun evening their with my boyfriend. Highlights: We were given an optional scavenger hunt for the course, and if we found all of the items, we'd get scratcher cards for coupons (we found the items and felt a grand sense of accomplishment!) The course itself was really great and had waterfalls and photo ops. There were spin-the-wheel handicaps, such as "hit your first shot while closing your eyes," or "you get to stand on the green anywhere you'd like during your opponent's first shot," and we played these wherever we found them. I thought it was a fun added challenge. For people into alligators (not me), you can feed live alligators as well. I highly recommend! read more

We went during a very HOT day in Florida. I would not recommend going after 1pm and before 6pm. We were able to purchase discounted tickets through working at UCF at $9.00 compare to the $16.00+. I have always been a big fan of put put golf. Congo River had an excellent course and fantastic customer service. They provide a scavenger hunt while you are golfing to look for items throughout the course. If you get them correct, they provide you with scratch offs (coupons for the venue) and a kids medal. After golfing, you have options to play arcade games, feed baby alligators, or do mining. Definitely a fun afternoon, but, recommend going in the morning or after 7pm. read more

Pretty typical mini golf place for Florida. Luckily the day we went wasn't too crowded, but we still managed to get stuck behind a really slow couple. Luckily we were able to find a good number of shady areas to sit while we waited for them to finish flirting at every hole. The course is fun and offers some alternative ways to play a few of the wholes in order to keep is fresh if you've been here recently. there is also a scavenger hunt that you can participate in throughout the course which can earn you a scratch off ticket to redeem (we redeemed a free laser obstacle game). Overall the course provides a way to have fun for an hour or so which a moderate mini golf course. The course is generally kept pretty clean any time that I have been there. I was shocked when I was told this location has been around for years and years. The place is immaculately clean and well maintained. The course is adorned with water falls, caverns, caves and many other props. Plus, as an added bonus, there are optional variation "spinners" at the beginning of the holes. Congo River golf is always a fun time. Also, you can buy a "replay" which is just pre-purchasing your next round for only $8 a person. This spot is good for a date nice, family outing, or hanging out with friends. There is also an arcade, laser tag, area to feed alligators, and a gem mine here so there's something for everyone! The coarse has an old safari Jeep and even has an airplane that looks like it crashed into the rocks! There are numerous water features here and plenty of stairs and an area where you cross a wooden bridge so make sure that your level of fitness is adequate to make it around. There's also a scavenger hunt along the coarse and at the end you get a card to scratch and have a chance to win $1 off golf or mining, free golf or other prizes. From the road, you would only think this place offers putt putt. Once you get there though, there is so much more. Live baby gators that you can hold and feed for an additional fee, an arcade, mining, and even scavenger hunts during your putt putt game. The course was a blast, some holes even had additional obstacles making it even more fun and sometimes hilarious. This is my 1st time at this location. This is the will kiver Springs location on 436 right next to Montgomery road. I thought there a little early had just finished raining. There was ample parking in the back. I moved to the front of the building and they have their open area where they take your money you get your ball and you get your club. They have different side as the clubs and 6 different colors of golf balls. Also when you're waiting there is an area just to the right of the entrance that has many gators I anywhere from 2' to 4' and a couple of turtles and. Once we got started, the holes were very nice. And they're very creative of how they set up the holes. And the decorum around the golf course is fantastic. You do have a few areas if you are a mask wearer where you will need to wear your mask because it is enclosed. Take the opportunity to use the photo opportunities. There are tiki totem Poles at several Gulf areas and I would definitely do that period I would also highly recommend that you go around 5 or 6 o'clock in the evening. People are still of going home and changing or eating and it's a nice respite for a small crowd. We started at 6 o'clock and what happened was people were supposed to wait every other whole. It wasn't really been in forest and we had this family that was just like a literally on her tail the whole time so. So a little uncomfortable at times. Now it's really cool you go up almost 3 stories high with stairs and bridges which is a lot of fun. We had 6 people in our party and we had a lot of fun. If you're looking for a great place to go miniature golfing, this is the place. This 18 hole course is very fun and beautiful! (it's not just an old parking lot with carpet and holes). The theme and scenery is way above average (caves, waterfalls, streams and bridges), and the course is always clean and well kept. When you enter, you'll notice their baby gators and turtles, they are very cute. Don't worry, the baby gators are not going to eat you, but you can feed them for a small price). This is not the cheapest place to mini-golf, but the beauty, fun and clean environment make it worth the money. Unlike the "parking lot" mini-golf places, you'll enjoy more time golfing this one because of the fun holes and beauty (you might even feel sad that you have to leave when you're done, so I recommend that you feed the gators after you golf, stay a little longer.) I haven't Pitt putt golfed in a few years. The staff was great from the moment we arrived making jokes and telling us about the gator area. The course is a great size and can take awhile if you have multiple people. We had 4 people which took us about 2 hrs. There is also a scavenger hunt along the course which was really cool. We were scrambling to use a Groupon that was about to expire and found out it was valid at this location which was so convenient for us. It's located off 436 so you won't have any spectacular views but it is still a great deal of fun. It probably took my husband and I about an hour to get through 18 holes. So this is the perfect, inexpensive outing to kill some time on a lazy Sunday. The grounds seem to be well maintained and make for some fun but cheesy photos. You are also given a scavenger hunt to attempt throughout the course. We ended up getting a couple of the answers and when we were finished, the employee ended up giving us some vouchers just for participating. Ended up with a free game and coupon for a future visit. You also have the option to feed the gators either before or after you play. The food (cut up pieces of hot dog) comes in a small bag and you can attach to a pole and feed. None of the gators were taking the bite and we noticed several pieces under the water. So I wonder if they were full or sick of hot dogs! We ended up just dropping our pieces into the water because we would've been there all day. Overall, love the location in the suburbs and away from tourist central. I went mini golfing here with my family last night. We were so impressed with the cleanliness and care they're taking during COVID. The experience was amazing, it had just rained so we had the course to ourselves, the grounds are gorgeous with mature landscaping and fun/challenging themes. A fun spot for miniature golf. My family visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was quite busy with many families having a good time, in nice weather. There are 18 holes set in a jungle like theme. Even with having to wait on the group ahead of us, we completed the course in about an hour. To add a level of excitement to the game, there are spin stations set up at some of the holes. If you choose to, you spin the wheel and do the activity listed on your turn (example: swap scores with an opponent, swing with eyes closed). There is also a scavenger hunt that can be played for a scratch off coupon card. When finished with the course, there is a small arcade and gators to feed and pet.
