A fun place to spend a couple of hours. They have mini golf, a tiny laser maze, a small arcade and the option to feed turtles and baby gators.

Thanks fellow Yelpers for rating this place highly when we were in Apopka for some pre-birthday fun. We had the best time!! The girl at the front desk was super helpful. Sadly I forget her name. She was blonde, if that helps. lol We ended up getting the full package that included mini golf, arcade tokens, feeding and holding alligators, mining, and laser tag. And a take-home golf ball. lol. It was around $85 for both of us, a little pricey, but totally worth it. The mini golf was so fun! One of the best courses (?) I've ever played. Really well-done with the theming, challenging, and challenges within the game where you spin a wheel for an added challenge (move the ball with your foot was a least-favorite of mine). The gator feeding and holding was super fun too! They have dried chicken for them to eat. I was surprised the baby gator I held so so cold, but they're cold-blooded (duh!). The baby gators mouth was taped closed and I wasn't nervous at all. The husband opted out of the holding, though. The arcade was tiny, but I was fine with it as they had pinball (my fave!) And they had one of those claw-machines and I actually won a rubber ducky! Mining was fun too. They bring you a bag and you soft through it. We found some pretty gemstones and out them in a clear lamp we have to remember our fun time. The only thing that was lackluster was the laser tag. We must've missed the instructions, but I think we were supposed to go through it like bank-robber style. That was the only option for 2 players. My middle aged body ducked and weaved and made it all the way to the end and I hit the hand mark and.. nothing. So that was disappointing. I had an amazing time and would totally return! This would be a great place for a date or to bring the family. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed Congo River golf this weekend! It was about $16 per person per game. 18 holes and they were all pretty fun to play! It appeared the grass turf was recently replaced so all the holes were really nice! Everything was well taken care of! They have baby gators up front you can hold and feed for a price if you wanted. Really liked this put put, everything was great!

This was such a great mini golf course! Granted, I'm 35 and haven't mini golfed in over a decade, so maybe I'm out of the loop, but I had the most fun evening their with my boyfriend. Highlights: We were given an optional scavenger hunt for the course, and if we found all of the items, we'd get scratcher cards for coupons (we found the items and felt a grand sense of accomplishment!) The course itself was really great and had waterfalls and photo ops. There were spin-the-wheel handicaps, such as "hit your first shot while closing your eyes," or "you get to stand on the green anywhere you'd like during your opponent's first shot," and we played these wherever we found them. I thought it was a fun added challenge. For people into alligators (not me), you can feed live alligators as well. I highly recommend!

Loved our expierence mini golfing with family! You can get the opportunity to feed and/or hold the gators! Can't wait to come back!

We went during a very HOT day in Florida. I would not recommend going after 1pm and before 6pm. We were able to purchase discounted tickets through working at UCF at $9.00 compare to the $16.00+. I have always been a big fan of put put golf. Congo River had an excellent course and fantastic customer service. They provide a scavenger hunt while you are golfing to look for items throughout the course. If you get them correct, they provide you with scratch offs (coupons for the venue) and a kids medal. After golfing, you have options to play arcade games, feed baby alligators, or do mining. Definitely a fun afternoon, but, recommend going in the morning or after 7pm.

Pretty typical mini golf place for Florida. Luckily the day we went wasn't too crowded, but we still managed to get stuck behind a really slow couple. Luckily we were able to find a good number of shady areas to sit while we waited for them to finish flirting at every hole. The scavenger hunt was fun, but in the end only won a $5 off coupon for a t-shirt which I wasn't going to buy.

I was shocked when I was told this location has been around for years and years. The place is immaculately clean and well maintained. The course is adorned with water falls, caverns, caves and many other props. Plus, as an added bonus, there are optional variation "spinners" at the beginning of the holes. You spin the dial and you have to do what it lands on. Don't worry, it's nothing crazy but adds to the fun.

Congo River golf is always a fun time. Also, you can buy a "replay" which is just pre-purchasing your next round for only $8 a person. This spot is good for a date nice, family outing, or hanging out with friends. There is also an arcade, laser tag, area to feed alligators, and a gem mine here so there's something for everyone! The coarse has an old safari Jeep and even has an airplane that looks like it crashed into the rocks! There are numerous water features here and plenty of stairs and an area where you cross a wooden bridge so make sure that your level of fitness is adequate to make it around. There's also a scavenger hunt along the coarse and at the end you get a card to scratch and have a chance to win $1 off golf or mining, free golf or other prizes. Parking is in the back and always has room.

Congo River Golf & Exploration offers a family-friendly experience across several tourist hot-spots, the location in Altamonte Springs far from International Drive and thus far less crowded but just as much fun. From arcade to gator handling and the mini-golf itself Congo River is very well maintained and fair priced, with safety-oriented staff.

Great mini golf course, lots of fun. Challenging but not overly hard. Lots of stairs up and down, swinging bridge.

I have three boys so of course nothing is going to be cheap. For two activities it cost $128 dollars. They were busy so for instance the rope course we had to wait for several times. The mini golf is glow in the dark but not a large scale just a miniature option. There was a cord in the middle of one of the holes which is a hazard if someone tripped over it. They have several activities to choose from being ropes course, rock climbing, bowling, arcade, laser tag, axe throwing. You do get some arcade credits but they're kind of a waste counting on each kid got 60 credits and one game was 30 credits. We didn't eat here but I did have a drink from the bar, the bartender was kinda and fast and the drink was good for the money. The staff seemed to be pretty nice. I mean at the end of the day you do what you can in a setting like this. There are things I would do differently but if you need in indoor activity definitely give it a try if you have some money to burn.

Obviously the system they're so stuck on isn't as great as actual communication... so I contacted Mario again (who was never what I'd call either polite or rude, just kind of bored and indifferent) and they finally sent an invoice with the time window and length of party I had requested. Arrived on time the day of, and set things up as we had discussed. (The reasons for 2 stars). The kids were on the truck playing games and I was sitting in the shade at the picnic table with the other parents and after 2-3 hours Mario approached and said they'll be packing up soon as they have another party after us and could I pay now. I was a little taken aback as I had paid half the total as a deposit for a 4 hour party. So I "asked" him hadn't I scheduled 4 hours? He said no. Now, beginning to get a little perturbed I told him "yes sir, actually I did", and also reminded him I specified the arrival and departure time. He proceeded to argue with me, in front of all the other parents mind you, that I was wrong and they had another party to get to. All I could say was "you need to look at your invoice" after a few minutes he stormed away with the look in his eye of "OK buddy, I'll SHOW you you're wrong". Two minutes later he walked back up to the table and just said "I'll tell the crew we're leaving at 5". No apology or my mistake, you were right. So now I'm wondering just what kind of business is he running here. I entered the truck and saw all the TVs filled, but one of my son's guests playing on her phone... which didn't add up. We had invited the number of guests based on the number of TVs he supplied. So I asked my son to identify his guests and it turned out Mario had brought some kid with him, that had taken up one of the TVs for the whole three hours they had been there (so far). When I politely mentioned to the crew (which was difficult as I was fairly pissed off at that point) that I had guests who weren't able to play and this kid who was not a guest was taking up a TV, they just said "yeah, he knows to get off if someone needs the station"; But did nothing... I had to say to the boy myself: "hey I'm sorry, but I'd like my guests to get to use the game truck that I'm renting" and he did, at that point, (with 25% of the party left) relinquish the TV. I had fed the crew pizza, offered them cake, and (even after all the frustration) sent them off with a tip... Even though I felt I didn't even REALLY get what I had contracted in my opinion. Two stars for showing up on time. Kinda generous, in my opinion, all things considered. I do not recommend. Upon seeing this review, Mario texted my personal cell with the message below. Obviously a class act. You want this guy around your kids? Not me. Reduced review to one star.
