Well done! It is a fun, clean well maintained putt putt. They have 2 courses to choose from and both look equally challenging. On a beautiful fall day 6 of us went into I'm going to win mode and had so much fun. The courses are well laid out around rushing water, rock and beautiful terrain. Loved the cave putt stop and others that gave a vibe to your fun. Aye Matey don't hit your ball into the waterfall like me but if you do it was easily retrieveable. Kids of all ages will get a kick out of Pirates Cove Adventure Golf. Our Senior party of 4 had a blast on the "difficult" course. Barring extra points for cursing, most of us came out close to par and everyone had huge smiles from all the laughter. Great photo ops throughout the course. Typical putt putt. They offer two courses and "adult" course and a "kiddo" course. Either one is $14 per adult, but if you finish and decide you want to try the other course, or play the same course again it's an additional $6. We had a lot of fun and happened to come when it wasn't very busy, which made it a little more enjoyable not being rushed by a party behind us. My only complaint is that they have a sign saying the next round is $5, but upon asking why we got charged $6 was advised the sign had one word difference and was for a different course. I know it's only a $1 difference, but I thought that was pretty poor on there part. read more

I am obsessed with mini golf, I have been since I was little. I just love the idea of taking the game of golf and sizing it down. I've been to this mini golf place many times since I was a kid and it was so nice coming back with my family and boyfriend for a little friendly competition. They had a special going on for kids to play for only $5, so we got a discount on my little cousin. We chose to play the harder course, however they do offer an easier one for those who are more interested in playing for fun. Things got heated between some of us, because we are all super competitive and determined to win! The staging of the course and the fun decorations throughout really brought the pirate theme to life! We even got to play a hole inside a cave under a waterfall! There are plenty of mini golf places in the area, but I always recommend this one to friends when asked. Right off the top let me start by taking off a star for the one big glaring negative and that of course would be the price. To me it's unfathomable for a family of four to come here and potentially pay $47 for a round of mini golf. I don't care if Rory McIlroy is on site giving tips it's still insane pricing. Now with that said, read the very end of my ranting to see how you can take at least some of the sting out of the prices depending on the age demographic of your group. While this review so far could be interpreted as being a negative one, trust me it's not. Aside of the pricing issue there is really nothing here at Pirates Cove not to like. The day we played it was late afternoon on a weekday and both courses were mostly deserted. This meant of course no issues with parking and no issues with getting bogged down with other groups/families/individuals. We chose to play the course on the left side which I guess is the "expert" or harder course. It certainly wasn't the hardest course I had ever seen or played, that would still be without question Caddy Shack in Manheim, PA especially for anyone looking to get a snowman on a triple tiered hole #1, but it certainly had some teeth. Central to the Pirates Cove/Pirates Island chain is of course the placards on each hole telling you the professional life story of Blackbeard. It's cheesy but there's nothing wrong with some wiki-style education while playing golf. The one thing that cannot be questioned here is where the money goes from the high admission price. It clearly gets put back into the physical plant which is why this place the same as the one in Daytona looks amazing. Easily the best looking course I have ever seen in terms of the simple and non-sexy job of keeping everything in working order & not having any garbage around & most importantly keeping the carpets in perfect condition. If you're in the area and want to play a solid round of mini golf on a beautifully landscaped course that is kept in great shape, this is where you need to play. If you go: The course is open daily year round but I think the hours change a little bit seasonally. FWIW, the website lists both the courses here and in Daytona Beach Shores as being from 9am-10pm but I swear when we played in December they were closing at 9pm but I might be misremembering that one. Mini-Golf with pirate theme for a fun family day. The parking is ample and safe nearby. The workers are kind and very safe during CoVid. Even prior to CoVid I had a great experience. The place is themed wonderfully to make the experience interesting, educational and somewhat competitive. There are two fun courses with varying difficulty. It is a great way to spend the day with older family members, kids, or friends. I recommend this place for a fun date. The weather was nice and breezy so it was easy to play both courses and have a good time reading about the pirate anecdotes. If you are with someone older choose the BlackBeard's Course and if you're willing to climb more for a nicer view pick Captain Kidd's Course. I brought my mom to play, she complained about some of the stairs at first but enjoyed as we went on. Plus there was more shading with the cavern and such areas to go through. My date enjoyed the Captain Kidd's course for the view and more interesting courses. read more

This is a family go to place for us. We don't play your standard mini golf, we buy admission to both courses and play a "skins game". Whoever completes the whole in the least amount of strokes wins the hole. The more players, the harder it is to win since a tie doesn't give anyone a point. While it does make for a shorter game, it makes for a very competitive round (or rounds). It also allows us to skip holes that are currently occupied and return to them prior to the 18th. My family and I came here during our visit to Flagler beach. We did the cave route which had 18 holes. There isn't a lot o shaded areas so I would suggest if you go in the hot weather, to not forget your sunscreen. There is a water fountain half way through though. My family had a great time. This place is also extremely easy to get to from A1A. The music in the speakers all over was tasteful too-U2, Bob Marley, Matchbox Twenty, Etc. The girl at the front was very sweet. This is one of the best mini golf places I've been to because of the many features that went into its design. The courses were good, the skeleton and pirate themed decorations were whimsical, the plaques were amusing, and the sea chanties were delightful. I also noted that the putters and balls were sanitized. Everything is beautifully maintained. Great miniature golf excursion! Two courses to choose from...we had three little kids but a large party before us chose the easy course, so we went the harder course. It was tons of fun and not too difficult for the kids!! The children enjoyed the hole in the cave...that was neat! They were also given pirate hats and pirate flags afterwards which was a nice touch to end the evening! Grounds were very clean... landscaping well manicured. Loved the signs to read about plants and Blackbeard while we're waiting! Pricing was a tad expensive, but that's to be expected in a beach town! Hubby said it was the best course he has ever done. Best tour mini golf in Daytona beach! In total, there are 36 holes with 2 courses. Many people go to this attraction, but it's entertaining and it passes the time. You can get hole-in-ones on certain holes to get prizes, like a free game. I recommend this place to anyone who is bored or has kids. I had just learned to like playing mini golf at a different course in Port Orange which was not very well-maintained. By comparison, this place is stellar. Well-maintained, clean, played the harder course, which is challenging but intentionally so (as opposed to bad maintenance leaving holes in wooden areas to lose your ball in). Even got a free game for getting a hole in one on a hole marked for it. The token for the free game is good forever, but it won't need to be. We needed to waste some time before leaving for the airport so we stopped here for a round of 18. It was early in the day so it was not crowded. They have 2 courses and I think we were the only ones on this particular one which is really nice because you know many of the mini-golf patrons are kids and they take FOREVER... You get a change to get a free game if you get a hole in one on 3 different holes or you can get another game for $3 after you finish the one you just paid for. Prices are average. There are plenty of pretty colored balls to pick from and different size putters. You can entertain yourself by reading the story of the pirates all through the courses. read more

At the end of the 18 holes a guy comes out of some booth and offers a ball asking if you need an extra. After asking more questions to see if your on vacation. He offers his global connections scheme. Parasailing, gift cards, vacation packages and so on. Then he needs you to pay 20 bucks and come to there event to try to reel you deeper into there tourist trap. Real shady business global connection! Not sure why pirates cove allows them to have a booth there. Watch out for pickup lines on your last hole. read more

My daughters love going here. Today, however, they were here with their grandparents and got stung by wasps. One of them was stung once and the other three times. When brought to the attention of management they simply said "happens all the time." We understand that it is a outdoor venue, but some compassion and sensitivity would have been appreciated. During my visit there were many groups of players, causing my group to wait a minute or two at some holes and causing the smaller group behind ours to wait sometimes. Players over 12 cost $10. I love that it's proximity to the ocean insures a breeze, so even the most beastly of the days have a bit of relief from the heat.
