So we bought said item paying for it immediately. Almost a week goes by with no response or shipment notification... our money gone and tied up. Then order gets canceled by them with zero apology. Listing had two for sale and remained so we thought maybe they only had one. So my wife made an offer on that one. Zero response again to her offer. So we went ahead and bought the second item and experienced another canceled order. If you are going to sell things on eBay, you need to be available. You would not enjoy if somebody agreed to buy an item you were selling and ended your listing and then took their sweet time to pay you and then did not respond to any of your inquiries. So here's a 1 star since I was unable to inform anyone of how we were treated by you guys on eBay. If how they run their retail store is anything like their eBay account, I would choose another place to do business.

I did not have an appointment but I could see why they ask you to make one, all of the fitters were busy when I came in. I was immediately greeted by Kinyorda, who is so cheerful and helpful. she helped me process a return for something I purchased at the Boilermaker expo, even though I didn't have a receipt. Harper was my fitter and she was very thorough and kind. I came in the store thinking I wanted one thing, and she helped me determine that I needed something different. Although I did try on the shoes I initially wanted it wasn't the proper fit for my foot. Harper did a full scan of my foot and asked me all sorts of questions about what kind of activities I did. I ended up trying five or six pairs of shoes before we found the right ones. Harper was very patient and knowledgeable about the shoes and their different benefits. I cannot recommend Fleet Feet enough. I had a great experience and will be back when it's time for my next pair of sneakers.

After doing some research and being heavily influenced by social media, I landed on Hokas for my budget, the longevity, and their ubiquity. You will get paired with a salesperson upon arrival no matter what your intent is, so go in expecting that. I had heard good things about the fitting so I did that, got my cute little report, and tried on a bunch of different shoes. The salesperson was great about going and getting different sizes, etc - I just feel uncomfortable with that level of 1:1 attention/eyes on me when making a purchasing decision, so that was more of a con to me than a pro. No room to breathe and make a decision. They were also busy and I felt like an imposition somehow? Vibe was a bit off. ANYWAYS - it would have been more helpful if the salesperson had simply asked what I was looking for and allowed me to peruse before running in the back to get shoes - I could have saved myself some time and left a little less frustrated. They won't have all the colors available, and I knew I wanted plain black and white...which they didn't have in store. It was still good to try stuff on, but I was hoping to get the shoes that day. Luckily I was able to order directly from the Hoka website (free shipping!) and they came within three days. I feel really bad about not being able to make my purchase through the store, but I look forward to continuing to utilize Fleet Feet for all my other running needs as we get closer to race day!
