Jackpawt's Happy Place…read more Since 2024, All Stage Canine Development has been like a second home for Jackpawt. Jackpawt, the Lucky Pup, on Amazon. https://a.co/d/02GVaEH8 Grooming day isn't just about looking handsome--it's one of Jackpawt's favorite adventures! Before Deena works her grooming magic, we always book him an hour of playtime, and sometimes another hour afterward because he just can't get enough. He absolutely loves the staff, zooming around with his furry friends like a little rocket. What makes All Stage so special isn't just the grooming, daycare, training, or pet store. It's the people. Every staff member is friendly, patient, gentle, and genuinely loves dogs. They treat every pup as if it were their own. They're one of those hidden gems tucked away in a busy strip mall, so if you blink, you might drive right past them. That's exactly why I wanted to share this post. Businesses like this deserve to be discovered, and fellow dog parents deserve to know there's a place where their pups will be loved, trained, groomed, cared for, and have the time of their lives. Thank you, Deena and the entire All Stage family, for making every visit such a wonderful experience for Jackpawt. We appreciate all that you do!

We have had…read more3 sessions with Nick, owner of Consistent K9, and what huge difference we already seen in our Houla (often known as Houlagans because boy do they test you). Now, our Houla has gone through basic obedience training a while back and knows commands, but just is a bit "independent" at times and it can be challenging. Nick was able to guide us on how to train our Houla, using verbal commands, non- verbal hand commands, available tools, and his vast experience. I swear he is a dog whisperer. Please remember, YOU have to do the work too. You cannot expect anyone to train up your dog and not put in the required effort to maintain and reinforce the training. We have been guilty of that in the past too. No more though! Our desire is to have a well trained k9, who consistently follows commands and is a valued part of our family pack. We believe in Nick to much that 1) we will enroll our Houla in additional programs Consistent K9 has to offer and 2) have already refused to be poached by another trainer! We are so pleased with how the training is going and with Consistent K9. Thank you Nick!!

We met with Weston for her assessment and during that 30 minutes we gained several valuable insights and were able to start working on a couple things. Since then, we had him out to the house for training and with his help our doggo is no longer running out the door. She is even staying in the garage with the door open. We are still working on certain distractions but it's so much better. The instructions were clear and simple. We also did a day of doggie daycare which she seemed to really enjoy and we got some cute pictures. Would definitely recommend.

As someone who travels frequently, finding a boarding facility that I can trust implicitly is a top priority. The team at Canine Purpose clearly understands dogs and treats Titan like one of their own. Every time I drop him off, I feel confident that he's in a safe, engaging, and professional environment. Titan always comes back happy and healthy, which is the best testament to the quality of care they provide. If you're looking for a reliable, high-quality boarding service for your pup, I highly recommend giving them a call. (Add on some grooming or training to the boarding - great having a clean fluffy Great Pyrenees at pick-up)

My wife and I were searching for a dog trainer form our 4 year old Frenchie rescue named Benny…read more Benny is awesome on walks but does not like people he doesn't know when we have them over to the house. What we loved about Wag Time and Don (owner and trainer) is that he does not use treats or shock. He employs voice and leash control. In reality Don trains YOU how to train! Honestly I was a skeptic! BUT we saw IMMEDIATE improvement during the very first lesson!! We have had 6 lessons so far, and Benny has come a long way! Life changing for us! Meet Don once and you will feel the same we do about him, his techniques, and his love for what he does!

They are being "worked " (trained) separately and, as of the past week (because it's getting dark so early and because it's now doable), they also get a long walk together. We have been at it about two months and have made significant progress (with lots of room for more!) Don't forget that it is up to the dog owner to do the work--neither Don nor the dogs can bear any responsibility for the lack of progress when the only way to improve the dogs' behavior is to be consistent in demanding (and enforcing) what you want. But Don is very patient with the dogs and me, so I can try to emulate his techniques with the dogs daily, between sessions.

I have been going to this specific Petfood Express for almost 15 years…read more I won't be going there anymore. Over the last couple of years pet food express continues to change their policies about returns, etc. It used to be that if your animal didn't like a product, or it was not working them, you could return it and either get a refund or choose something else. Now they have a 30 day limit to doing that which changed sometime in the recent past. And a few weeks ago, I purchased something for my little dog that was supposed to be helpful for his teeth and instead it got stuck in his teeth, and it was very traumatic for him as well as for me, as well as dangerous to try to get it out of his mouth when he was freaking out. So I returned the item and was told that because the item was opened I don't get my money back. Thus another new rule. I had a receipt as well. In every other store if you have a receipt and there's a problem you get a refund. Not only that, but the girl who informed me that this has been the policy, which is actually not been a policy very long, was rude to me. It's very clear that petfood express is more concerned about the bottom line than providing excellent service and excellent products anymore. As a result, I will not be shopping there anymore. Thank you very much.

I could not recommend Kait more! She is professional, knows her stuff, and you leave every training…read moresession feeling empowered with the right tools to work on whatever behavior you need. She gives you clear, actionable steps & the results make life with our pup so much easier. She has been immensely helpful in helping us train our 8 month old dog since we got her at 8 weeks. 100% hands down the best money we've spent on our dog is getting Kait as our trainer!

Let me be clear, Kait is a miracle worker. No joke…read more We were looking for a dog trainer because our 1.5 year old pup had several bad habits we wanted to break. He pulled to an insane degree when we went on walks, he was prone to darting out the front door, and he jumped up on guests when they came to our house. Leash manners were my primary concern because sometimes our elderly family members liked to walk my dog, and I was afraid that the dog would pull so hard they would fall and injure themselves. I interviewed multiple reputable dog trainers in the area, but Kait was the only one who listened to my primary concerns and said she would address those right off the bat. The others seemed to have a pre-designed series of lessons and were not willing to deviate. To be clear, my husband had incredibly low expectations for dog training. He thought that our dog was so stubborn (he is) and his hunting instincts were so ingrained (they are) that he would always pull on a leash to keep sniffing for prey. My husband was convinced that this would be a waste of time and money. Kait came to our house for our first private lesson, and it's an understatement to say our expectations were low. Kait observed us interact with our dog, and even coined the term "sled dog" when watching him pull as we walked him down the street. She showed us some leash drills and then had us practice with him. By the end of the hour long lesson, the pulling was significantly better. Not gone, but it made it where we weren't using our body weight to hold him back just to get to the end of the block. I was impressed, but my husband was still skeptical. We ended up doing a total of 8 private lessons with Kait, and my dog's behavior has changed monumentally. We can walk him with a loose leash, and only a few occasional reminders during our walks. When he sees other dogs, he stares at them, but he doesn't try to lunge at them to play. If our front door is open, he stays back and doesn't dart away. He also rarely jumps up on people now. Most notably, after just a few lessons, my husband became an ardent believer in Kait's amazing dog training abilities. He now agrees that hiring Kait was one of the best things we did for our dog and our peace of mind. If I could give Kait 10 stars, I would! I have recommended her to as many people as I could, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again. With Kait's help, you absolutely will be amazed by your dog's improvement. Hire this woman before her schedule books up!

Updating my review to say how incredibly happy I am with Powerhouse K9! My puppy is now 8 months…read moreold and has spent a total of 5 weeks here (3 weeks for board-and-train and 2 weeks for regular boarding). As a first-time puppy owner, I wasn't sure what to expect or if puppies just naturally outgrow certain behavioral issues. Either way, this is the only formal training she has ever had, and the results speak for themselves. She came back so incredibly well-behaved. And has reminded well behaved. When we go out in public, people always come up to see her because she's cute, but what they *constantly* comment on is how exceptionally well-behaved she is for an 8-month-old puppy. It is so validating to hear that from strangers! I love and fully agree with Anthony's methods and what he does here. If you want a well-behaved dog, Powerhouse K9 is the only place to go. Highly recommend! Full disclosure: I have a pure poodle and they are known to be smart. I brought her to PowerHouseK9 initially at 4.5 months, only weeks after adopting her so my reviews are specific to this. I cannot speak to any other situation or dog breed.

I do not recommend Intuitive dog training for aggressive dogs…read more I adopted a pit bull from the shelter and did not want to take her out into public until I worked with a trainer at home. Aaron came to my house and introduced our dogs by having them meet and walk past each other. My dog was clearly agitated but didn't growl. Within minutes my dog and his German Shepard got into a fight. He clearly did NOT know what do (neither did I, that's why I hired a professional) and told me to "stick my finger in her butt" (this doesn't work, in case you were wondering). It was traumatizing for both me and my dog who has now been set back in her training and is even more untrusting of other dogs. There was a hose about 3 feet away from us but hindsight is 20/20. He does not believe in prong collars but may want to reconsider for certain dogs.
