Keep in mind, this occurred on the Wednesday before Memorial Day Weekend, and the workers (as they should) were also planning to enjoy the long weekend/holiday. John let me know that it was highly unlikely that my car would be fixed before the weekend, which I understood, but I was still a bit bummed about because I had several plans to start moving, traveling, etc. While I did not mention any of these circumstances to John, he let me know to call in the next morning for an update on the vehicle. To my very happy surprise, he let me know that he was able to find a shifter cable part from a friend in the community, and he even stayed late to fix it! Replacing shifter cables can be a pain, and I was so taken back that he was able to have my car back to me in less than 24 hours, with no appointment or heads up. I am not noting that he stayed late as something customers should rely on when choosing an auto repair shop. However, John was very thorough in explaining the process to me, and A&A exceeded all of my expectations. To stay late for someone so that they can have their car before the holiday weekend is top notch customer service, and it goes way beyond what any repair shop needed to do. Trust me, there are WAY more of people needing repairs and this shop would have stayed busy even without my business. To sum it up, A&A is reliable, I never once worried that I would be scammed as a young woman, and I will definitely bring my car back if I have any maintenance or any other issues. Thank you A&A!!

After paying a $75 dollar deposit for an inspection my appointment was cancelled twice! Once because they were short staffed (appt 06/13), and the second time due to rain (06/17). I had to text them to remind them of the second appt and then they cancelled on me 2 hours before it was scheduled . I tried to call the shop many times but no one ever answered. I went through the customer portal and asked for my deposit back, to speak to a manger or to be accommodated in anyway and they refused me. I even tried to see if I made a 3rd appointment if they would inspect and service the car in the same day due to me having to wait on them for dayss! They told me no. They told me I will not get my deposit back and it will go towards a new appointment. They told me the deposit can't be refunded because "they reserve a technician's time and scheduling availability", even though no techs have been available to me!! They said both of the appointments they cancelled was for reasons out of their control and that they would escalate this with management and make me a "priority" to schedule me an appointment asap. Then turned around and said they aren't sure when they can service me and that I need to make my own new appointment for THE 3RD TIME!! When no one from the company/ management reached out to me for a follow up, I on their site to see what time has available and it showed no availability till 07/06. I reached out again asking how true this was and if this got escalated to a manager... no response. This is ridiculous. I am disappointed and I feel scammed. I will never work with this company again!

He has avoided completing the work he was paid to do. I paid a $100 diagnostic fee (with the understanding it would go toward repairs), and we agreed on a $450 total. He later increased the price to $750 without justification. I have invoices showing the originally agreed work and costs. He also failed to properly diagnose the issue, which could have included a simple code reset and pressure test. I even provided proof from AutoZone showing no parts were purchased for my vehicle. Overall, this was unprofessional and unreliable service. Proceed with caution. When he told me he was only 19 years old it all made sense. Please do not use his guy, but if you do know he is just a back yard mechanic.

When John called to deliver the bad news and walk me through my options / his recommendations he was so kind and patient, answering every single one of my questions with plenty of detail. The night before, I had left him a voicemail and had mentioned a possible warranty on the engine in passing. He went above and beyond by calling local dealerships and checking (I believe it was) NHTSA to see if there were any active warranties that would cover me. The entire time I felt like this team had my best interest at heart. I know they probably see tons of customers a week, but they made me feel like more than just another job, which meant the absolute world to me. Unfortunately, my best option was to get a new car. While I worked through everything with Hyundai and searched for a replacement, they've let me keep my car on their lot for a generous amount of time, leaving me with one less thing I've had to worry about during this very stressful time.
