Cup of ice.

Came here for my morning coffee today. I ordered the oat milk cream cold brew. What I got was a cup of ice, a bit of cold brew, and a splash of oat milk and vanilla syrup. It was $8. Really ruined my morning and I was so excited to try this place too!

A holistic general store. Think mom and pop whole foods corner store. With a nice beer selection, cheese variety, and epic ice cream selection, I have to approve! Really had fun in the freezer section: ice cream galore of local nearby brands. Such as lick, parfait, and bluebird! By the pints! The store has cool stuff, and wide various choices. Only thing I couldn't find... but maybe I wasn't looking hard enough, couldn't find honest company brand items. I really needed the wipes! But maybe I'm being too picky. Want to try their happy hours! Will go in next time mon or tues for it!

So cute!

Shopping in Seattle, Washington…read more.. The Trader Joe's canvas bags are so useful, strong, and reasonably priced! The original bag has navy blue colored straps. The new version has hunter green straps. I was hoping that this Capitol Hill location would have it... I didn't see a parking lot. I circled the block about three times and decided to park on the street around the corner. A clerk inside the store said they have a parking garage - enter from 17th ... UHG! I'll look next time. Since we don't have Trader Joe's in Hawaii, I like to bring snacks home, but I focused this time on those canvas bags and even got some mini canvas bags and the olive green insulated totes! I also looked at the greeting cards, fresh flowers, and new items. Thanks for the convenient restroom and friendly employees! We were able to find Joey, the mascot, and received stickers and lollipops as our reward! This was a fun shopping experience!

Fall Season is definitely coming up soon as the summer heat is calming down while tree leaves are turning from green to brown in the neighborhood. Picking up groceries was mainly the purpose of the day. From breakfast items, snacks, salads to basically anything you might have forgotten in your toiletry bag. It seems that fresh strawberries and blueberries were a popular item at the time. A clerk came by to replenish a lot of them in an almost empty refrigerator case. Price is always right, service from all clerks and cashiers are very consistent whenever you visit any Trader Joe's in any state. What I didn't expect to see was crowds and crowds of customers during my shopping visit, and the store clerks were extra friendly. Trader Joe's is always a must go whenever on the US Mainland.

This was the only Asian grocery store that is nearby and walking distance from Pioneer Square…read more Perfect timing to grab some food from the deli counter with fresh bento's and many Korean snacks and desserts for later on. H Mart back home in Honolulu is nearby but the parking situation isn't ideal in Kakaako. I decided to shop here while staying in a hotel in Downtown Seattle, luckily it was fully equipped with a kitchenette. It's a pretty well sized store, with a good amount of inventory. A few departments that drew my attention was the deli, and the alcohol aisle. I basically had a good 15 minutes to thoroughly scope out the entire store to get a feel of what they had on special, where everything was located, and how small and condensed it is inside, safe with a security guard keeping customers and store staff safe and secure.

For a city location, it is pretty decent as it has produce and hot foods. The size and selection does pale in comparison to the suburban locations like the Federal Way and Lynnwood stores. Prices are a bit elevated due to the location and the H Mart weekly ads do not apply to this store. I prefer to shop at the other stores, but this is a convenient option if I need to pick up some Asian grocery items on the way home from work or visiting downtown.
