Server was nice, and tacos were yummy. I like how many of the tacos had the corn and then flour taco around it. The basic ground beef one had some heat, which was surprising. Served warned hubby the shrimp one was hot, and she was right! Chicken ranch one was really good; the bacon was a great addition. I got the skinny pineapple margarita. Small glass for $9.50, and really no pineapple taste, but if you like pulp, they add fruit puree for the flavoring. Cute decor inside.

The food was very good and affordable! Loved the hipster vibe and the graffiti on the wall! Oh and they have a VERY CLEAN men's room (that is surprising!). The service was a little slow so if you are hungry be aware there might be a wait.

My friend and I sat outside and it was so beautiful and warm. We enjoyed the tacos, they are very filling too. I would suggest 2 tacos per person. Our server was quite nice.

This taco place is gas! Blue dream in for the win. Server was attentive and the food was to die for

The heater

Here is the thing.. they aren't chipotle- they aren't agave and rye. they have completely separate flavors- I have seen reviews comparing them and I just feel there isn't much comparison because of the flavors. We had delivery but o can say the service was great because everything was made correctly, nothing was missing. The good: (2) heater tacos (2) Lucy's Fire tacos- they were pretty good, would have loved more sauce- but you take what you get when ordering delivery :) We also got three bowls. One had brisket, one was chicken and the other was pork. All with similar toppings. The pickled onions are great as is the chimichurri sauce. So flavorful and garlicky. I wish the proteins of each had more flavor, they were very plain. We weren't a fan of the crunchy rice- unsure if that is the norm with it being crisped but it tasted more burnt than a regular crispy rice. The great: The margaritas. Very flavorful- we liked them a lot and being able to order them with our delivery was 10/10. Cute packaging- I'm a sucker for good packaging The bad: The house salsa was awful. It was like red water soup. No flavor. No heat. The chips were rock hard and stale & I love thicker chips. The queso.. it tasted like melted white American with no seasoning or flavor- that was so disappointing because we love a good queso! We will give them another try in person. Total was $115, that included a 20.00 tip.

After reading all the other reviews, everyone is spot on. This place is good, nothing spectacular, but solid food. If I were to go back, I would definitely get the chips and dips in a bigger side. The queso was extra excellent; the guac and street corn were also quite good. The actual tacos all felt like they were trying too hard. They were good, but for their 'favorites' I was disappointed. I'm not sure what the non-favorites would be, considering.

Nice atmosphere for a casual Mexican inspired lunch or dinner. There is plenty of open air seating, as well as indoor seating. There is a full service bar and an array of various taco choices to choose from.

A fun place with fun vibes! The service is super quick. We sat down and ordered our appetizer and had it at the table within minutes. Food was fresh and also fast!

I traveled to Austin earlier this year for work and every Austinite I asked for food…read morerecommendations suggested Torchy's Tacos as a city classic. Regretfully, I never made it to a Torchy's while in Texas--but luckily there's this one right in my backyard at home in Ohio. Torchy's is the Austin institution that went mainstream and is slowly spreading around the country. You'll order on a touchscreen kiosk and choose from tons of different taco and bowl combinations--including breakfast all day! Grab your cup and a buzzer and take a seat; servers will bring out your food as it's ready. I was pretty impressed with the selection overall. From beef to carnitas to chicken to eggs, you can get tons of different taco fillings. The drink station alone is impressive--the typical soda machine options plus iced tea, horchata and even cold brew coffee! There's also a bar if you're inclined to something alcoholic. All of the tacos and the hillbilly queso we ordered were delicious. I was actually impressed with the corn tortillas on my tacos--wasn't expecting them to taste so fresh. Tacos are a great size as well. Two is enough for a decent meal, but they don't pack the toppings on. Any taco you order (I would guess) can be picked up in its entirety. You won't be losing toppings at Torchy's! Service was a bit slow the day I came for lunch but nothing crazy (more like a sit down restaurant than the fast casual it's set up as) and the ambiance is nothing amazing. But the food is delicious, price is decent and I would definitely go back for a little taste of Austin.

Yawn... Another…read morecorporate bruch spot that over promises, under delivers, and seems proud of it. Dry and NOT flaky biscuits. Sausage gravy that tastes heavily of flour. Maybe it was because it was 11am? Who knows. What I do know is that Pillsbury makes better biscuits. Order at the counter, they bring you your food. Dirty tables. Lots of staff. No real excuse. Save your money and hit up First Watch, Wild Eggs, or even Sleepy Bee (with some trepidation). At least you get table service and servings worthy of the cost. Maybe it was a bad day? Maybe they've only been open a short while? Who knows. We won't be back.

From the moment I walked in, I knew this wasn't your average breakfast joint. Their {unique-feature} - let's call it the palpable sense of genuine Southern hospitality mixed with a modern, quirky vibe - immediately sets the stage. It's like your cool grandma's kitchen, but with better coffee (more on that later!). But let's talk about the star of the show: the Biscuits n' Gravy. Oh. My. Goodness. Forget everything you think you know about this Southern staple. This was next-level comfort food. The biscuit itself was perfectly fluffy on the inside, slightly crisp on the outside, and had that subtle buttermilk tang that just makes your soul sing. And the gravy? Forget the bland, floury stuff you get at some places. This was a country gravy, rich, savory, and clearly made with love. The flavors were so spot-on, so perfectly balanced, that when the manager asked how I was enjoying my meal, I practically gushed about the flavor profile! He proudly explained that they make it fresh, on-site, every single day. Amazing. Seriously, I even asked for more gravy (and I'm not ashamed!). The chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy. The welcoming atmosphere is the real deal. It's not just about saying "hello"; it's about making you feel like you're part of the Maple Street family. It's the kind of place where you instantly relax and feel comfortable lingering over your coffee (which, by the way, they have a whole coffee bar with assorted flavors!). The excellent service just seals the deal. From the friendly cashier to the attentive staff refilling my coffee, everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there and eager to make my experience a great one. The manager, especially, was incredibly nice and clearly takes pride in his team and the food they're serving. It's clear they've cultivated a positive and supportive work environment, and that translates directly into the customer experience. For the price, Maple Street Biscuit Company is an absolute steal. Whether you're a couple looking for a cozy brunch spot, a family needing a satisfying and affordable meal, or a die-hard food enthusiast searching for the perfect biscuit, this place delivers. Trust me, folks, this isn't just breakfast; it's an experience. Go. Now. You won't regret it.
