The best Condado I've been to! The fullest tacos of all the Condado locations let alone at any taco place I've been too. I was so shocked when I got my tacos, I probably should have ordered one and no chips with queso because I was STUFFED to the brim. I was here pretty late so the staff was more available to be more casual but everyone on the floor was really friendly and the tall gentleman that served me behind the bar was hilarious! Caught me playing Pokémon Go and we had a great chat about it while he was managing other tables. It was impressive to watch that he would stop the conversation and then come back to continue where he left off. Love this Condado! read more

3.5 stars overall - this place is A-ok but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again. We happened to be next door for an event and afterwards decided to pop in for a bite. It was a random Tuesday night so not very busy, and we were seated right away. They have a nice outdoor patio, indoor tables, and bar seating. I noticed a lot of people picking up takeout, so they must be a local favorite. Our waiter was super nice and came by to check on us regularly. In general, the vibe was lively but everything was a little dirty, including the bathrooms. The menu had tons of options from bowls to burritos to tacos and more. We ended up trying the chips & cheddar queso, which was pretty good, chips just a little greasy. I got the yuzu shrimp taco and Korean BBQ taco, which were interesting with the hard shell encased by flour tortilla - you don't see that everywhere. While the portions were good, I found the quality a little lacking and I favor more authentic-style street tacos anyway so it may be a personal preference thing. Still devoured everything though! Prices were pretty reasonable, and I noticed they also have happy hour deals, lunch deals, etc. so be sure to check that out before planning your visit. read more

A decent taco place with some unique creations. Would definitely go back and try some different ones. A little disappointed in the service, the server waited till after happy hour to come up to the table for our food order. Then wouldn't let us get the deal 4 min after. read more

Condado in Midtown is a fun, fast option when you want casual tacos and bowls. The space is covered in bold art, the vibe is laid back, and service on our visit was quick and attentive. We started with the Three Buds chips and dips (queso blanco, guacamole, and street corn guac), a solid 4/5. The guacamole here might be the best we've had in Midtown, and the street corn version is my favorite of the three with that extra sweetness and spice. I went with a build-your-own bowl with double chicken on a bed of kale and assorted toppings. Another easy 4/5. The chicken was well seasoned, everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous enough to make it a full dinner without feeling heavy. We also tried two tacos. The Bacon Chicken Ranch landed around a 3/5. There was plenty of bacon and chicken, but the ranch flavor disappeared a bit, and the large chunks of chicken would've eaten better shredded. The Cali Green was a stronger pick at 4/5 with a flour and hard corn shells layered with guacamole, ground beef, queso, lettuce, pico, smoked cheddar, etc (the list goes on...) which gives it that "loaded taco" feel without going overboard. Condado is a good, modern taco spot with great dips, solid bowls, and a few tacos worth repeating. read more

Stopped by to grab some drinks and food. The bartender Alizé was top tier she was very helpful and made my first experience great. I got a margarita flight with some chips and salsa to munch on and three tacos to go. Can't say the tacos were good or not haven't dived in yet!! But I will be back to dine-in. Update: Got home and was ready to enjoy my tacos. Opened the tapped box they came in and immediately smelled seafood. My entire order was incorrect I ordered Carne asade and brisket and pork tacos. Called the restaurant they weren't very helpful offering an apology but told me I'd have to reorder my food if I wanted a delivery BUT would issue me a refund. So I proceeded to order from their site and the manager assured me I'd receive a refund. To date I have not received a refund. Furthermore, my delivery was messy, COLD and unappetizing. It was like my tacos were legit put in a freezer or something they were ice cold!!! So disappointed. read more

This is much like the Condado Tacos in Troy. It has a nice vibe with cool wall art and a nice outdoor eating area. The service was good. Our server was friendly and attentive. Like the Troy place it is nice to see that they also have vegan options too. The food came out quick and was alright. I had a build your own burrito and it was good. My wife did the same but the rice that was in it was either way overcooked (bottom of the barrel to say), or way undercooked because it was very crunchy. One other thing that I will mention is that the floor was sticky kind of like when you go into an old movie theater. Overall it was a good experience and I will probably try them again. read more

Update 1/14/26: They finally righted their wrongs and reached out via mail. While the gesture was thoughtful; it was very late and only after I posted my update about their radio silence after reaching out to me. I'm just not impressed with their customer service (or, lack thereof). I consider myself a loyalist and once I find a brand or establishment that I feel truly values their customer base--I'm a customer for life. I don't think Condado is that brand. read more

I got a packed bowl with veggie chorizo and poblano peppers. I added all the extras. This was an amazing value for just over ten bucks. The perfect spice level left me with a warm internal feeling. Make sure you get the smoked queso, these shreds have a wonderful flavor. Order was ready quickly and the pickup was easy. Next time I will try to eat there to enjoy the Dia de Los Muertos inspired decor. read more

I'd wanted to try a Condado Tacos, so when my niece decided this is where we should go, I was pretty excited. One of the things we ordered was chips & queso, and each time the chips were barely gone, a server brought us more! The menu was a little confusing to me, with build-your-own items as well as specific dishes. I ordered a build your own taco with brisket as well as a chicken bacon ranch taco. They were both very good, although I've never understood the purpose of layering a flour tortilla and a crispy tortilla, except to add more calories! (To be honest, I didn't read the description closely enough, so I missed that detail) I don't usually order alcoholic beverages, but someone in our party ordered the dragonfruit habenero margarita (or something like that) and offered me a taste. I really liked it, except for the spice. The server came by right about then and said they can make it without the spice, so I got one. And it looked so pretty! The one thing that was really odd to me was that they had regular table service like at any other restaurant, but everything was served in disposable containers with plasticware. I hope it's compostable because that's a LOT of unnecessary waste. If I'm near Condado Tacos again, I would certainly consider it! read more

I've been to the GR location so I already knew the tacos were going to be fire! I tried their new Yuzu Shrimp taco and it was so yummy. My friends and I shared the margarita flight and we weren't fans of the options that had some heat to it but we liked the rest of the options. Our server was nice but too a while getting back to us for our check and same for another one her tables. Overall love Condado Tacos and would come again to try more! read more

This place def has a street taco / Tex mex vibe. We came in and were greeted and seated right away. They do have booth indoor and outside seating. They do have a full bar but I ordered a hibiscus margarita. It was really good wasn't too sweet. Their menu had 2 different sides. One side their selection of tacos, nachos, bowls and more. The other build your own. This is where it was at for me!! The nachos I built was on point!! This place doesn't play on the toppings!! These nachos were packed and soo tasty. I'm visiting but next time I'm in the area I gotta go. I have and will recommend this place. read more

The Mr. and I stopped by Condado Tacos for a business lunch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the nice views. I ordered three build-your-own firecracker tacos with brisket, red cabbage, tomatoes, and lime cilantro aioli. The tacos were fantastic! They had a great ratio of meat to everything else, were neatly packed, and incredibly fresh. The taco shells were fresh with a lovely heavy coating of firecracker seasoning, the brisket was juicy and fall-apart tender, and the cabbage and tomatoes were crisp. The aioli added a delicious touch as always! I had water while eating there, but I ordered a Coke with extra ice to-go. Our server, Deshawna, was so sweet, gracious, and attentive! She made the experience even better with her pleasant demeanor. I would definitely recommend Condado's! They have great food, affordable pricing, and they're allergy-friendly. Their menu clearly indicates items that contain milk, gluten, or are vegan. I love Condado's tacos! read more

I had high expectations... and I was extremely disappointed. First, asked to sit outside because it's nice out and was denied. Then I order their special margaritas flight... all sugar! They are the BEST for catering, though a bit pricey. The boxes are really cute with their logo and colors and are super easy to set up. I love that. Their toppings are so fresh and delicious and the meats are well seasoned and never bland at all. Awesome homemade sauces and guac, freshly made chips and some of the BEST BROWNIES you will get anywhere. They are cinnamon chocolate, and even this crowd who doesn't usually go for sweets unless they're worth it knew what they were as soon as I took out the box. Get you one of those! read more

I went here for national margarita day and got a flight but I kinda of left disappointed. I ordered a blood orange, prickly pear and pineapple margarita flight, expecting my margs to ACTUALLY be margaritas. I'm unsure if she thought I wasn't 21 or if the drinks just weren't that good but all my margaritas tasted like sour fruit juice. The flavors were good but the alcohol taste was missing. I didn't even get a buzz from drinking them, tasted like straight juice tbh. The nachos on the other hand was very big but they were good. I got full fast off the drinks so I barely touched the nachos but the few bites I had were delicious. Topped with a lot of stuff and I put the jalepenos on the side, which weren't even hot surprisingly. 7/10 (I prefer real Mexican food not American Mexican ) read more

I got Condado Tacos as a pickup and was super excited to try it. I got a variety of different kinds of the tacos as well as queso and Mexican street corn. The tacos were pretty good as well as the queso, but it wasn't very flavorful. I didn't like the Mexican street corn, unfortunately because that's what I was most excited about. I went to visit Detroit during the holidays and my friend wanted me to check out this taco place. It wasn't your traditional tacos but it easily a cute spot. Very spacious and colorfully. It looks like a great place during the summer months because of all the windows that can be opened and the very big patio. We got there during happy hour and I wanted to try one of their menu options and got the tacos. I started with the nachos and babbyyy they came out cold. I was kinda confused because I didn't know they were suppose to be hot or cold. lol but when I told the server she got right on it and brought me some fresh steaming hot nachos. 10/10. Very flavorful and big portion for the price. The tacos were equally as good. But sadly I had to take my tacos to go because the nachos were so filling. They all had a unique taste. I've been to Condados a few times. I knew that I didn't like their food but I got invited out with some friends for lunch so I bit the bullet and gave them another chance. I got the build your own tacos. I got a chicken and a beef taco on flour tortillas. They lacked flavor, as usual. The tortillas were a little tough, they couldn't have been fresh. I got a margarita with a salt rim for the beverage. the house margarita was $9.50. That's pretty high to me. Especially for a drink that I barely even tasted the liquor in. It tasted like straight up sour mix and idk she put in it that made it fizzy like a soda.. I also don't like that I asked for sour cream and the bartender asked me how many I wanted so I got two to be on the safe side, only to get my bill and find out that sour cream was $1 a piece. I think imma just hang it up and accept the fact that I don't like Condados. read more

This place is awesome. The service was friendly and attentive (though we somehow never got the tacos we ordered - they took care of it as soon as we realized.) The parking is street, but there was an available spot right outside the door. The decor is hip and inviting. The margs are fun and really like the fruit with the spice you can get. The street corn guac is delicious! The tacos we had were very flavorful and delicious. Condado can be good if you pick the right combo of ingredients but this location isn't the best. I've had multiple orders where they have forgotten or mixed up multiple ingredients and today the rice was mushy, which I have never seen at a restaurant before. A small group of us decided to have a taco night. The location wasn't far from us so we dropped in. The interior was super cute and this place is good from groups. They have an extensive bar menu and the food selection is okay. This is a place good for pre or post activity drinks but would not be my go to for dinner. I found the food to lack seasoning and when I think of Mexican food I know that the food is packed with flavor and I'm going to do a food dance. I had a mocktail - cactus juice which was delicious. Good drinks and fusion tacos/dips in a fun environment! I tried a trio of dips ($12 for 3 half dips) - I love how the chips are SUPER thick and crunchy and don't break in the dip :) The Queso is to die for! Guacamole was fresh and light tasting, pineapple salsa was nice too. The Korean Taco ($5) didn't *look* like much but boy was it a flavor bomb! Love the double shell concept too! It was a tad salty, which was fine for be because I love salt but for someone sensitive to salty foods it might be a bit much. The only thing I wasn't wow'd by were the bacon refried beans, they were a bit watery for my taste (I'm used to authentic refried beans made with lots of lard, lol!) but had a nice bacon flavor! Good margaritas (I had a Paloma) and the service is amazing! I didn't get her name but the woman helping us out was bright and cheery and so nice (even when I spilled my drink, oops!) read more

We ended up here kind of unintentionally. We had been looking for some brunch in Detroit and everywhere had over an hour wait. But a friend recommended this place and so off we all went. There is nearby parking, which is great, and the restaurant itself is easily accessible. The visual aesthetic was great inside - a really fun place to visit. And the staff was friendly, the service quick and reliable. The menu here boasts a wide variety of options and customization that can easily accommodate anyone's diet, from omnivores to vegans, making this a great place to gather so everyone can feel included. Plus, booze! We all tried different margaritas and everyone enjoyed what they had. I had a lemon flavored one that was great, and my partner had a pineapple that was great too. We ended up most of us building our own custom bowls. My partner and I are both veggies so we didn't try the meat but our friends seemed to really enjoy their meals. The portobello mushrooms were amazing! The same can be said of the chorizo and jackfruit. The chips and salsa were of course tasty too. We were pleasantly surprised by our experience here and openly encourage others to stop in, either for dining in or carrying out. I will gladly return. read more
