We did do some research to find a nice clean location and this one had solid reviews so we gave it a try. Right across from Safeway and BWP in downtown Walnut Creek, parking IS metered but there's plenty of it near the entrance which is key when loading and unloading. I have (literally) years worth of laundry that I've been waiting to do because my machines at home are too small. Duvets, comforters, blankets and towels galore. I couldn't take them living in trash bags anymore so we finally took them here to wash and dry. Yes, its expensive. We used the largest machines- 80lb machines- and it was $17 a wash load. Good news is, drying is only $1.50 each 16 minute cycle. But the peace of mind finally getting these items washed and in a clean establishment is most important. The staff member was super friendly and was seen cleaning them entire time we were there, probably a couple hours. $17 a cycle feels high, but if that's your one load for the week for 80lbs of laundry is sufficient for most people, and that cycle only takes 24 minutes then you're into the dryer. You can be in and out in an hour if you load your machines right. We went around 5p on a Sunday evening, and it wasn't busy at all. 2 other patrons. Then it picked up and during the time we were there most machines were in use. No 5th star because its hot and stuffy inside. Theres a standing fan to try to help, but its broken. Wish there was AC.

He helped me figure out how to set up my app. to eliminate having to use quarters. The facility is clean, the baskets to transport laundry roll beautifully, there is cool air and a strong fan blowing making the entire space comfortable - especially on a hot day like today. I took my clothes out of the washer after the cycle was completed to load it into the dryer. As I'm pulling my clothes out one by one I see all these nails falling to the ground from my clothes. I counted 12 nails were falling out of the washer and into my clothes ruining every brand new clothing I had! I'm so upset, there was no one on site and I've called the number to call when an issue occurrs, no one has responded back to me yet! The place is also filthy and unsafe to walk around in. washers draining water onto the floors, dryer sheets all over the floor, it's just so ridiculous!

Btw, US Bank isn't that far away, so you get rolls of quarters there. To use the washer is $5.75 in quarters! This is a nice area! Mr. Pickle's is just a few doors down!

A quarter gets you five minutes on the smaller dryers but to my surprise, it only took about 20 minutes for a load to dry. Mind you my loads were not large and I did not use the washer here so imagine a load in a home style washer and bringing it to dry and it only taking 20 minutes, which is really wonderful. I wish it was a little bit cleaner in here though, and that the Wi-Fi password was posted because it gets a little bit boring, of course just standing around however this place is pretty solid to get in and out real quick. Parking is also a pain when it's busy, but if you wait enough, you'll find a spot.

They ( the angel at the other end), spent sufficient time going back & fourth (during off hours), reaching out to their seamstress to help me in our hour of need for a posh event that had a very short finish window considering this was during the high point prom & wedding season. I was willing to drive an hour out of my way & feel grateful to these folks for helping me. You don't experience service like this especially, since I was reaching is a cold call so to speak via yelp. They were willing to work with me even without meeting me. I felt so honored by this over the top care & would not hesitate coming to them again in the future.
