This was the worst property I have ever encountered. Our experience with Benchmark Management at Sand Cliff Condos (Unit 214) was unacceptable. Upon arrival, the smell of mold was so overpowering that we could not remain in the room. We discovered visible black mold on the furniture and inside all the vents. Further inspection revealed a kitchen in poor condition, including filthy cookware. The unit was extremely dated and bore no resemblance to the quality or cleanliness advertised in the listing. It is clear these issues were known, yet the unit was still permitted to be booked. Because of these severe hygiene and health concerns, we left immediately to find alternative accommodations. The experience was incredibly stressful and entirely avoidable. Please look elsewhere and do not book here.

Close to the laundry room (which is free, by the way) and you can see the ocean from the balcony. Pool is heated - and heated well! No other pools in the area were heated like this one in December. There were even beach amenities here. A beach wagon, beach chairs, table and boogie boards. Awesome surprise! We cannot recommend this condo, and this area enough. Well done, owners! And well done Benchmark, the management and cleaning company. There's literally not one thing we found that was not pristine clean, and I'm picky. Asked for one night's compensation; received half that amount. Was ghosted. We rented SeaTreat / 84 Dalton Drive through Benchmark Management for a five-night stay. Here is an honest account of what happened. Night One, Monday: We arrived to find no running water and non-functioning toilets. After 90 minutes of phone calls, we were given a one-night relocation address, began preparing to leave, and were then told to wait. That property wasn't available. A second address was provided shortly after. We were relocated at 10pm at the end of a 14-hour travel day, leaving our luggage behind. We weren't cleared to return until nearly midday the following day. Night Four, Thursday: A foul smell, along with feces and toilet paper, led us to contact Benchmark. The septic grinder was misplaced and not working. It was repaired that evening. The Following Morning, Friday: Benchmark texted asking if the septic issue was resolved. We confirmed it was fixed, but reported feces and toilet paper were visibly present in the yard. Benchmark never responded. Compensation: After significant effort, we received a $188 refund described as "only a night," even though it significantly altered the following day due to a midday return to the house. A request for an additional partial refund reflecting the lost following morning was never resolved. No response was ever received regarding the sewage in the yard. The staff we dealt with were pleasant. However, every decision - no matter how straightforward - required escalation to management. Their agents appeared to have no authority to make things right in the moment. If you are a traveler considering Benchmark, read this carefully. If you are a homeowner allowing Benchmark to represent your property, consider who is speaking on your behalf when things go wrong.

This property is located just far enough from the center of town to avoid the hustle and bustle but a short 10 min walk takes you right back into the action! 4 bikes are included with the rental and allow for easy access for a relaxing ride around Seaside's streets. The BBQ pit on the side of the house is new and in good condition and there are 4 beach chairs included as well from Cabana Man co on the beach everyday! Inside the house is kitted out with a full new kitchen, an Apple/Andriod compatible sound system, personal TV's in all rooms and fast WIFI. All in all was a very enjoyable experience that complemented Seaside's charm instead of being a hastle.

There is a sweets suite that has granola bars, popcorn, soda, oranges and apples, goldfish, an ice and water machine, espresso machine (that also makes hot cocoa), and ice cream bars! No need to pack extra snacks for your little ones on this trip! The rooms are large and the balconies have a gorgeous view of the bluest turquoise waters- it reminded me of being in the islands! The turndown service brings you fresh homemade cookies every night (so don't use your DND!). The staff onsite are super accommodating, the drinks at the bar are delicious, and the food is good as well. The pool drinks are more expensive if you go to the beach club next door. The pool area has a huge sunscreen dispenser (never seen one of these), ice water, fire pits (free to use). There is a tiny gym off the lobby (open 24/7). It has one treadmill, one elliptical, free weights, one bench, on pulley system and a Lululemon mirror thing. No one seemed to use it, so that was nice. The beach is powdered sugar soft a the ocean is clear and calm. It was an OASIS! The only surprise is that there isn't any drink service. Luckily the pool bar wasn't too far away. There is a free trolley you can take to other pools like the Watercolor Club (for kids), and other locations. There are some eateries within walking distance (however not a ton). The whole town is walkable and bike friendly. If you're a runner, there's a paved walkway that goes alongside the main road for miles and miles. I stuck to the trails behind the houses and loved it! It was secluded and woodsy, and yet I still saw houses so it didn't feel unsafe. This was probably one of the best vacations I've been on- it felt foreign but was stateside. Everyone enjoyed it- myself, my husband, our toddler, and my older in-laws. It's worth every penny! And bonus: the AC works amazingly! You can have a cold room and the ceiling fan makes it even better! The housekeeping was also phenomenal! Everyone was friendly and did such a great job! They gave us more shampoo, etc without us even having to ask. My only cons- I wish the free bike rental had helmets. I don't trust drivers when I have a little one to take care of, and the pool pump was loud so we couldn't really hear the ocean from the balcony, but not a deal killer.

Let me say, the reservation was seamless and absolutely organized. The price was right too, $1500 for the week. The home is just ok. It's in a state of deterioration. For a rental that accommodates 18 people I expected more kitchen items. There were only 7 forks and 5 spoons (yep, I counted). The pots and pans are rusted. No baking dishes, the toaster caught fire, the internet was non-existent. The deck railing is turning green. It has such great potential! Would I come back? Yes, but I will bring more supplies, lower expectations and more cleaning supplies.
