The food is well seasoned and delicious!! My favorite spot to come to when I come to Miami. Very authentic.

We were in the area and decided to stop on for a quick authentic Bahamian snack. We parked in the back of the building and accessed the building from the rear entry. From this entry point, takeout orders are placed in a designated area. We immediately noticed that there were renovations that had taken place since we were last in. There is a counter and a tv behind the bar that displays the live band that is on site in the main dining area! There were menus available for grabs across the bar and there are bar stools and a few tables available for you to occupy while you order and/or wait on your order. We ordered the seafood combination (3) which comes with 3 seafood options and a side order. We ordered double fried shrimp, cracked conch and a side of fries. The order is cooked to order, and was available in less than 10 minutes which is a plus. The order comes with a few pairing sauces, utensils and napkins.

I've had them bookmarked for years. I just decided to finally stop in. They were friendly when we came in. The air was booming! It was freezing in here, coming from a person who sleeps with air in the winter, from Chicago! Anywho, we dined in and ordered oxtails and jerk chicken. It took the food about 20mins to come out, but when it did, it was piping hot! Which I can definitely appreciate. I hadn't eaten all day, so I was eager to get this food in my belly. It didn't disappoint! My oxtails were very tender and seasoned really well. These were the best oxtails I've had in a restaurant in a very long time. Only negative, is their portions are a little small. They should up the price and give us more. It's ok, I just have to come back for more!!!

In on a Thursday at 5:30 for dinner. 3% Non Cash Adjustment. Music is loud. Second time here. Not busy. ORDERED: Conch Fritters (6) $7 Good Cracked Conch with 3 sides $25 Peas & Rice, Lettice & tomatoes & Johnny Cake. Cake very flat. Brought it home. I have had cracked conch in Miami and the Bahamas. This needed to be tenderized more. Very Chewy. Server Natesha did a good job. Will go back for something else.

The fried shrimp and fried conch is so flavorful despite it's price of $29.70. Too bad I realized after I drove off that they left off one of my 6 shrimp. Their posted sign in the pick-up area is: check your plate before leaving. Conch balls are excellent and the conch salad is refreshing. If wondering the type of fish served for boiled fish meal is grouper. It is expensive at $30 for a large 2-serving styrofoam takeout container.

Not too many places in Miami where you can get authentic Bahamian conch salad. This is one! This is as close as you're going to get to the islands.... The conch fritters were really good as well. They also have Sky Juice! And it's GOOD!

Conch salad

Every time I come to Miami I make a trip to this place. I always get tuna and grits if I'm there for breakfast and conch salad no matter what time of day it is. This conch salad is superior! I always ask for extra lime and extra pepper on the side. If you are in a hurry don't come here bc all the food is fresh and takes some time to cook.

Terrible customer service. I'm a strong believer of supporting restaurants, especially during Covid. What I won't support is trashy service.

The flavors were really hittin--not salty but definitely not lacking in flavor and complexity. So delicious The only criticism I would have from what I ordered is that the rice was ever so slightly undercooked which made it a bit dry. Other than that, everything was great. There's not really a server--you order and they text you when it's ready. Then you come pick it up and go to your table. But the cashier lady was very nice and helped me decide what to get.

If you're looking for something unique to try at the Citadel, Manjay is worth a shot. They serve Haitian cuisine. Portions were generous and in general, the food was kind of heavy. Many of the components I believe were made to order, so there was a short wait. Here's what my wife and I ordered: Appetizer: * Caribbean Conch Fritters ($14) - Manjay pikliz, honey mustard remoulade These were big and tasty. Six pieces, like giant hush puppies with conch inside. The plate came with pikliz in the center. Pikliz is like the Haitian version of coleslaw, made with cabbage, carrots, onions, and peppers. Manjay's version was spicy and yummy. Bowls, each with 2 sides and 1 sauce: * Honey Jerk Chicken Bowl ($18) - breaded and tossed in Manjay's homemade honey jerk sauce; with red beans rice and sweet plantains and scotch bonnet mango aioli * From Haiti with Love (Griyo) ($18) - Deep-fried Kreyol-style slow-braised pork; with banan payzay and toofay Both the chicken and pork were very good and flavorful. The pork was served bone-in. The rice and beans and sweet plantains were comforting and addictive. The scotch bonnet mango aioli was spicy. Banan payzay are Haitian pressed plantains. These were savory and starchy. The toofay ("legume") was good too. It's a hearty vegetable stew, essentially Haitian ratatouille. Our cashier was Roniqua and she was nice. During our visit, I think Manjay had the longest line (a good sign). After walking around, looking at the other food court options and seeing Manjay's high rating on Yelp, we were sold on Manjay. We dined in so we got real plates and silverware. We actually took everything up to the rooftop bar and ate up there. Our trays were bussed by the staff on the roof. Along with this location at the Citadel food court in Little River (just north of Little Haiti), Manjay has a casual strip location near the Miami airport in Doral. This Citadel location is the original; it opened in February 2019. The Doral location opened in 2024.

I asked about a menu and was directed online to search "Naomi Miami," but when I asked for the grouper fillet on the menu online I was told they didn't have it. I got the tofu with rice and the spinach stew, and my boyfriend got the chicken with yellow cornmeal. We haven't had Haitian food, but we both enjoyed our entrees. The portion sizes were large and I think most people could eat this for two meals.

We came in on a Monday around 6pm and ordered off the happy hour menu. The brussel sprouts were out of this world good! The chicken had tons of cheese, but the beef was my favorite, it was so flavorful! We ordered the pistachio cake with white chocolate ice cream, and raspberry sauce. It was so refreshing and a perfect pairing of flavors. I wish there was a little more cake, but I'm not complaining. I will absolutely be back. And next time, I gotta try their cocktails.
