The dealership told us that we wouldn't have to service the car for at least 8 months. In reality, within days we discovered a loud squeaking from the wheels and, after checking, learned the front tires had only 3mm of tread left: almost at the legal minimum. This means they knowingly sold us a vehicle that will need new tires within weeks, not months. When I raised the issue, the dealership admitted the tread depth but dismissed it, saying the car had "passed safety," and refused to do anything. Passing the bare minimum safety standard does not equal selling a safe, roadworthy car. This was misleading, unsafe, and shows a complete lack of honesty and accountability. If you value safety, transparency, and trust, do yourself a favor -- never buy a car from this dealership.

Friday comes and I'm told it won't be there Friday because his "step sister has it" and put over 6000KM on it. Georgetown Volkswagen knew I had my heart set on this demo and knew I wanted to purchase it but Service manager could care less. Why advertise a vehicle on your website if it's not available? Why assure me it'll be available but lie and waste my time? Beware of this dealership. They play games and are very shady. After speaking to Jesse for well over a week, he pretty much told me to go to another dealership, rather than provide reasonable incentives for the inconvenience they caused. I received no follow up, no apology from the service manager. Horrible service. I ended up going to a dealership in town that took care of me and reduced the stress Georgetown Volkswagen caused. (John M said it would take 10 minutes to program). 2nd time their AC machine magically wasn't working again and then they Charged me 1 hour labour for a 10 minute programming to the hitch electrical. This is something that should have been working from the start! All Chrysler cars with a Factory hitch Installed have this ON, (otherwise they would have to activate after the fact which I would understand). I did not go back the 3rd time because I cannot trust them. They ripped me off. This should have been a warranty item. (2016 Durango with 12k) John M did not advise to me that I would have to pay to have this programmed... Its a NEW car... this is Warranty work... it wasn't done properly at the factory by error in my view. I believe I deserve my $118 refunded back to me. Martin BTW. My initial online inquiry was answered within 6 hours by the Sales Manager. Was immediatly contacted by a Sales Associate (Nick) who helped us through the process professionally and in a timely matter. Price was excellent and everything you would expect was delivered as promised. The car was ready at the time and date we requested. Financing was handled appropriately and satisfactorily. Cant predict if the car will have problems in the future obviously but as far as the buying process it was excellent, couldnt ask for a more accommodating staff.
